ARK Management reviews
This ARK property management company has managed our condominiums for about 10 years (hopefully, it will get replaced soon) and demonstrated poor operational practices. Their processes lack transparency, and their choice of contractors appears questionable — often engaging low-quality providers at inflated costs. Additionally, their interactions with property owners are frequently confrontational and unprofessional.
Why would any reasonable HOA or entity hire this disgraceful company? In my building case at Sao Miguel in San Diego few senile residents control the HOA hired ARK Management. Ark Management treats homeowners with utmost disrespect. Their continuous threatening letters are demeaning and insulting. Ark Management charges owners $25 for simply sending a late rent letter. They charge $150 just to set up a payment plan for delinquency. The owners are seniors with low income. This is ABUSE!
Extremely poor communication to home owners and projects in need of urgent attention. Not ensuring homeowners have access to shut off water in emergency is extremely negligent. ONE PERSON has a key for the water valve, no copies of the key, and that person isn’t reachable. Unbelievable.
Unresponsive, no follow up, terrible communication, only on site at our property fir board meetings. How do you manage a property if never there and never talking to the owners? Very unprofessional
Nonresponsive to basic needs such as no toilet seat in the community bathroom, no notice of construction during business hours that would cause us to have to close the business for a week. Slow to respond to calls and emails but what's worse is their response. Things so simple to remediate -such as our recently missing toilet seat- are dragged along for week with poor excuses such as, I've ordered it and it will be here soon. In our other buildings (we have six offices) a missing toilet seat or broken door, etc. would be fixed that day because that's what good management companies do- they res…
DO NOT HIRE ARK MANAGEMENT AS THEY ARE UNFIT AND UNEQUIPPED TO MANAGE ANY PROPERTY. ARK Management has all the traits of a bad business: disengaged employees, poor communication, inadequate financial management, to name a few. ARK Management will bring your property value down. They lack the ability to manage construction projects in a timely and cost effective manner. The employees are incredibly rude and are continuously disrespectful to the home owners, especially Nicole Dabney. This lack of respect and unresponsiveness to address basic property management requests can been seen at every le…
This is the worst management company I have ever dealt with. Utterly unresponsive. Calls and email are simply ignored. Their billing system is archaic. Its hard to believe they are still in business.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR HOMES, COMMUNITY, OR FINANCES. ARK Management are either pathetically inept property managers, or actively engaged in something unethical. Over two years living in our condo we have been subject to yearly HOA rate increases of 10% and have just received notice that we will be subject to an emergency assessment effectively increasing our cost over the next year by a further 25%. When we moved in we reviewed the balance sheet for the HOA and it had a very healthy reserve despite ongoing projects. Their mismanagement of projects since then ha…
Ark Management needs to be removed as they are unfit to manage any property. As a homeowner, I have seen my property value significantly decrease since Ark Management has been in charge. The prior management group was professional, reliable and most importantly trustworthy. Ark Management does NOT have the best interest of the community and the people living in the property. They have significantly increased HOA dues over such a short amount of time at a rate that is unheard of. Additionally, the company has not been transparent about where exactly our money is going. When asked for transparen…
Here are some of my concerns with Mission Village Condos under Ark Management. When I first moved here over 10 years ago in 2014, management was responsive and would call back. After some time management continued to change. Ever since, management does not return phone calls or voicemails. Its as simple as, do not have a phone or voice mail if you're not going to use it properly in your professional role, that you are getting PAID to do. People have expectations of condo managers to be heard by their community especially when it has to do with their own home and safety. The excuses are they a…
Terrible Management company. The property managers attack the community instead of doing their job of taking care of home owner requests. I would like to give them negative stars instead of 1 star but that's not an option on the website. I would actually like to request management fees back as they clearly do not perform any work according to the community expectation. They led our community to lawsuits due to their incompetence and non action. Stay away from them.
I have attempted to contact this company for over 2 weeks. Every single time I try to contact them I'm told they'll return my calls after 1 business day. Being forced to pay this clown shoe company is incredibly frustrating when they won't even return a simple phone call.
I wish I could give zero stars - they are not responsive, ignore major concerns, and sometimes rude. I’m not sure I’ve seen any productive improvements come from them. Avoid like the plague
I couldn't say enough bad things about this company, they have never enforced parking passes, the complex is literally falling apart and it seems like they are stealing money because nothing gets done or it's terrible quality. No one ever responds to email communications. Simply Terrible.
Been a home owner at the Woodlands since 1975. Served on the board for many years. Was on the board when the association won a multi million dollar lawsuit against the builder for construction defects. Every management company has been the same, self serving, irresponsible, no communication, zero response to homeowner needs and on and on. This one is no different. Sent an email to the board in July re a late fee I was disputing. 5-6 calls and emails just to see if it was received. No response from the board yet.
