We had multiple problems all the time. Overcharging on invoices, lack of communication, etc One of the renters that they put into one of our properties that they were managing for us sublet to a family that turned out to be Haitian refugees, who are not legal. They cost a tremendous amount of damage under BPM’s watch, now we will have to sue BPM. Also discovered BPM charged over $500 for painting a couple of walls which never happened but they charged us anyway.

Love Danyel and Cyan! They are a huge help for my family and I. It is not easy being away from your rental property so I am glad that I hired Beyond Property Management. They were able to rent by property in less then a week, get higher rent then I thought I could make, and the tenants have paid rent on time! I appreciate them more than they know!

BPM is unresponsive to tenants requests

I have been renting from Beyond Property Management for 3 yrs now. I love my home. I love my landlords and I love Beyond! Moira has been fantastic. She is my go-to girl!!! When I had a repair request, the appliance guy, Jose, was out same day. Hopefully I never have to move!!!

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Beyond Property Management has been very disappointing. I’ve emailed their office multiple times regarding important rental matters, and I have never received a reply. On top of that, none of my phone calls have ever been returned, despite leaving voicemails and calling during business hours. As a tenant, it’s frustrating and stressful to deal with a management company that doesn’t communicate or follow up on concerns. Currently living in a rental managed by this company. Have called multiple times as well as emailed regarding outstanding questions and zero response. Very disappointed in the communication at this business.

Steer clear of any apartment with the management company. He have been renting from them for 4 months and it has been problem after problem. They take there time to reply to emails ( forget someone answering the phone when you call) most of the emails are clearly not read throughly as we often receive generic responses and no solution. No pest control that's on you as a renter. You are forced to pay for a renters repair package that is useless .. most recently we are being charged for SOLAR come to find out it isn't even active and they never even applied to activated them with SDGE.

I am a new renter at one of their properties. I have to say these folks are immediately impressive. The property showing was on time and superb (Naia). Then, the application process was thorough, yet simple. The total elapsed time from application to lease signing was less than 48 hours. Communication was clear and constant the entire time. I never wondered what the next step was. The leasing agent, Ellen, is amazing. Our move-in / renter experience specialist Mahalah was great. We all know how stressful finding a place to live can be. After several cancelled showings (after taking off work) and very little communication, I found Rubin. He was so great to work with. He was the only one to call, reach out and keep me updated on the property. If it were not for Rubin I would never have worked with this company. Rubin kept his word and answered all my questions. I had an excellent experience with Beyond Property Management, from viewing the rental, to the application and leasing process and introducing me to the owners. Rubin and the rest of the team were very helpful, friendly and efficient to responding to my questions throughout the whole process.

As a renter, this property management company was the best company to go thru. It was a very easy application process, and very organized. We received an approval very fast, and we got our lease signed and deposits paid with no hassle. Other companies take days to get answers or responses. This company replies same day. I'm super impressed. I can only imagine how easy this must make it for the owners of a property too. I'm very glad we found them.

After reading the vast majority of the tenant reviews today, I wish I would have done so, prior to originally renting with this group. Voted “best property management company” by themselves. There was a major maintenance issue on the property I lived in and they refused to acknowledge it or do anything about it. There were more issues and I could go on, but I’ll leave it at that. Thankfully our landlords decided to switch to a different management company. Sandra was very rude and unpleasant over the phone. I would not recommend, whether tenant or landlord.

Their operations are HIGHLY disorganized, and response times to basic maintenance requests are excessively delayed. I have been renting a house in Poway for over a year now. Beyond has been extremely helpful especially Cyan. I wanted to install an Tesla charger and the Landlord approved it with management companies help. I don’t plan on leaving any time soon.

We have been working with Beyond Property Management for a couple years now and have never had an issue with them. They are prompt and reliable whenever we’ve had questions or an issue Tondalaya and Rich are always quick to respond to our concerns. I’ve been a tenant in one of BPM ‘s lovely homes for over a month - the property management team has been exceptionally attentive throughout my move in - great job to Tondalaya & her assistant; they recently convinced the owner to put in hardwood floors in the master suite, and it looks amazing!

My interactions with Beyond Management and more specifically Rich and team have been absolutely phenomenal!!!!! They do an excellent job of making sure the day to day maintenance and overall rental process is simple and efficient. There're several reasons this company is the worst. 1. They don't disclose any of the hidden charges before you've been approved for the rental application including 1st time move-in charge; monthly Resident beneficial package (beneficial to what?); solar fee (and this is tenant's responsibility?) 2.
