This review about the Rancho del Norte, apartments in San Diego, managed by Conam. Laundry room has been closed for over a month. What is going on, you can remodel the whole building for one month and this is a tiny laundry room. Why is there no hot water in Studio 15, it’s been four days. The water went cold on Friday night at 6pm. Yet there is still no hot water. I have now gotten sick because of lack of hot water. I have to many medical conditions for this BS. If there is no hot water by the end of business day today, I will have file a formal complaint!! Conam Management has been, without a doubt, the worst management company I have ever dealt with. They consistently neglect the needs of their residents and show a complete disregard for the terms of their own leases. Requests for assistance are always ignored leaving residents frustrated and unheard. Their management practices demonstrate a lack of professionalism and accountability. Lease violations on their part are not addressed, while residents are expected to adhere strictly to rules that the company itself routinely ignores. I lived at the Market Street Village building when CONAM took over November 2024 and the building went downhill fast. Hallways are filthy and stained with dog and human urine, roaches, everywhere, they rent to drug dealers and people would leave doors propped open so that homeless and other individuals could get in. Residents would stand in the breezeway smoking pot or cigarettes as well. I live in the Forest Glen Apt in Escondido. This apt complex is full of homeless ppl, drug ppl and a very unsafe environment. The maintenance crew is great, management is lacking. You can complain but the ppl in the office seem to have no guts to face the ppl that are a big cause of problems.

I live in the Market Street Village Apartments. Conam took over at the beginning of the year and they suck. Totally unresponsive. Building quality has really gone downhill since they came over.

No management, no maintenance (inside homes are falling apart), unsupervised kids everywhere destroying property, property is falling apart completely, cars parked for months, hall area are disgusting (even when trying to keep it clean), you can't speak with ANYONE, no one follows up with you, itshorrible. Rancho del Norte apartments A very poorly managed by Conam, however the rent went up between 10 to 20% in different apartments. What do you get for that? Nothing gets more dirty more rats and no parking spots.A very limited parking however one resident takes always six parking spaces with his business junkyard trucks filled with a bunch of Junk. Let a brand new building go sideways we are dirty hallways. Landscape all dying 6 months at entrance. A water issue with Landscape irrigation system. Now needs to be replanted. There is lack of stewardship and action on issue, i believe this is a planned Con Am management style. Read all reviews and a 2.3 rating.

I am deeply disappointed with the management practices at this community. Recently, I experienced a “home inspection” where staff entered my apartment wearing dirty shoes, leaving behind a mess and showing little regard for cleanliness. This level of disregard for a resident’s living space is unacceptable. Furthermore, it is highly invasive and disrespectful to inspect personal areas such as closets and refrigerators. Laundry room floor filthy most of the time. Some office workers have been very rude! I've noticed them treating the old folks with disrespect. I see the younger office workers talking terribly mean. The Versa at Civita Community Manager lies about document requests (so keep your original email). She trespassed into my apartment on 2/6/25 and put an envelope in my apartment and stole over $1,000 off the kitchen table. She and her regional manager lied and said my door (which has automatically closing hinges) was open. But even IF a tenant door is open, a landlord or his agent may not enter or put anything into a tenant's unit. It is trespass and there is a specific CA state statute about it. I had to take the Commuity Manager to court for a restraining order. The police later showed me …

Jesse at Hemet Vistas , goes above and beyond, he is friendly and inviting has excellent service . Recently I had my recertification with Jesse and he’s such amazing manager he really cares about his tenants. He’s very helpful and makes sure all my needs are met in a timely manner when it comes to my work order he is on top of getting them done. I’ve lived in Hemet Vistas for over a year now. I really like the apartment, community and management/maintenance team. I just have to say how Jesse, in the management office, has done a wonderful job despite doing it by himself, for the most part. He’s professional, polite, and if I have a problem, he makes sure to handle whatever problem in a timely manner. He’s definitely an asset to Conan and Hemet Vistas and I hope Conan has acknowledged how hard he’s working and keeping everything together for us residents. Thank you Jesse, not sure if you’ll see this but you’re awesome!

Terrible customer service by local manager regarding incorrect fee on my account, So i reached out to "corporate" thinking id get some assistance. nope they are just as bad. Never return emails or calls. Terrible management CO. Renter be aware!!

I am very disappointed with management at Lofts on Landis. I've had a roach infestation since 11/2023. Kimberly who was the manager back then sent pest control to my unit and they were supposed to go back to fumigate. Until now no one has. I have sent back to back e-mails, left VM and no one has gotten back. Meanwhile the roaches are roaming all over my home. This office has switched managers b2b and had temps in and out. Very frustrating.

Security is lacking

Their apartments are not run well. They do not keep up on maintenance. My manager left because they mistreat their employees. They will also break laws. I moved out in early December 2023 and still have not recieved my security deposit refund within 21 days by CA Law. I did get a statement itemized after 45 days with a memo check will come separately. They are one of the worst property managers in San Diego. Investors and renters stay far away!
