I was living at 32nd St in North Park under Joe Carta Realty for about 4 years. Not every property management is perfect. My unit was updated and honestly, there was not much to complain about. Every time I submitted a maintenance request, they sent someone to come look at the issue. There were times that the trash was every where outside in the back, and when I sent a request they would get to it. In the second year of my tenancy, I got a therapy dog, and JCR didn't question me. My wife and I rented through Joe Carta for 2 years. Lucreatria was our renting agent/property manager. Office ladies were always nice and helpful, no random intrusions LL always gave us notice before coming by. Landscaping and monthly pest control people were always great. When we moved out Lu asked us if there was any improvements we thought the property or rental service could improve on. Joe was easy to work with when we first moved in and with our initial move in date. Moving out was a breeze. I have been a long time renter with my landlord in Talmadge and all of a sudden I get a text message from this business saying that he is now managing this property. A text message…really?! I have received no communication directly from my landlord that he is using this business to manage his property.

I am writing this review because we actually found great advice in a different review upon moving in, and I want other renters to be aware of it. After signing a lease, we reached out several times to get the keys. Joe's team either gave us a runaround answer or simply ignored our messages. Based on advice we read in another online review, we went in person to the leasing office a few days before our lease officially started. There’s a reason he has a low rating! Only lived at one of his properties for 1 year and I had to get a lawyer to sue to get some money back. The worst experience I have had with a realtor.

Ive been renting a place though Joe for the past three years. It has been nothing but a headache. They never contact you back and refuse to have in person meetings when asked several times. They don’t even call you. They only email and text message. He seems super cool and nice at first but he constantly misplaces documents and doesn’t follow though with anything you ask him. Unless you go though the property owner to bother him. Don’t waste your time with this realtor! Horrible all around.
