My experience with Moonstone Management, which serves the San Diego Verano Apartments HOA, has been deeply frustrating in terms of communication, consistency, and fairness in enforcement. Overall, my experience has been that Moonstone Management applies rules in a very strict and impersonal way, without sufficient consideration of individual circumstances or long-term homeowner history. For a homeowners association management company, I would expect more transparency, better communication, and a more balanced approach to enforcement.

Unprofessional, My property manager Sarah Omar shared personal confidential information about me as a homeowner to her family. She researched my place of work, where her family attends (a school). Moonstone Management recently took over the HOA at our building. I have been so impressed with the customer service and how responsive they are and how quickly problems are solved. I have dealt with both Sarah and Kristen and they have been a joy to work with. Typically, when you think of HOAs you envision nightmares. They both have been such a pleasure to deal with and are changing the way owners can interact with HOAs. Thank you for the excellent customer service and help.

I own a condo in a building managed by Moonstone Management. Our onsite coordinator/agent is Massi Hashmi. He is very helpful to me whenever I email him to ask about vendors and various recommendations. Compared to the former agent, I think he is much more helpful.

Absolutely horrendous. Gave my house a 300$ fine for a noise complaint ! Never seen anything so ridiculous before. Do not trust these people whatsoever.

Our experience with this HOA has been extremely disappointing. The management seems overly focused on minor landscaping issues while neglecting more important concerns like community cleanliness. Unfortunately, the landscaping itself isn’t even well-maintained and looks far from appealing. Additionally, dealing with Meghan Kryvonis has been frustrating. Our HOA recently switch from Playmor (one star) to Moonstone (one star). Hmm… there’s gonna be a reason why.

Our HOA has been with Moonstone for over a year and we are very happy with their service. Our community manager is excellent and whenever we have an issue they are quick to resolve the problem.

Our HOA just recently switched to this property management firm and they are terrible. Totally unreasonable and awful customer service. I would be surprised if they are still in business in the near future based on the awful reviews they have.

moonstone is my management company at Upper Voltaire, 1. they take extremely long to get back to you 2. staff is dismissive, and lacks accountability for their mistakes 3. policies are unclear and change every month 4. structural problems are fixed poorly and temporarily 5. emergencies are ignored, and handled very late, especially when gate and garage doors are wide open 6. landscaping and trash is neglected

From my perspective Moonstone is terrific. Moonstone is the management company which oversees the running of the condominium association where we live. Our on-site manager reports directly to our condo association Board of Directors. While he is the only Moonstone employee I have dealt with, he is certainly on the top of his game. He responds back quickly, professionally, and goes out of his way to be helpful.

I have lived in our wonderful building since 2007 and appreciate the value that Moonstone has made to our quality of life. We tried many ways toi manage ourselves or hire others, and various combinations of both.Nothing compares favorably to what Ryan's company has done, and what Massi provides for us on site, as well as an engineer. Recently, they renewed our FHA status that was let lapse due to a lack of understanding by a previous well meaning but uneducated . We finally have order and stability at Del Prado. We are very grateful to them!

We had an after-hours plumbing issue and the response exceeded all expectations. The response was rapid and professional. Thank you, Massi!

Recently had some work done on a unit I’m renting, the moonstone maintenance team did a great job replacing a two story deck with a fast turn around, all touch-up that was necessary was taken care of, very professional I highly recommend then as they offer many services.

We've been waiting for assistance with a leaky window for a long time now. No response (despite being promised one) and no assistance has been received. They were kind enough to help other neighbors by serving me with a warning for an apparent violation (I had been unaware our HOA prohibited smoking on balconies). When I called for clarification, as this is the first time it's been brought to my attention in almost 3 years of living here, I was told to refer to their original email.
