we had NNJ when the 0rignal 0wner was running the show - as soon as Nora Jaeschke was no longer involved and another took over, that ended the superior performance NNJ had going - as things did change With NNJ so did 0ur association with NNJ and we sunsetted / ended the contract--

Worst HOA I have ever dealt with. Gina only responds to the emails and calls that she wants to. Communication is a one way channel and they weaponize fees and are eager to accrue enough fees and interest to put the account into collections. I worked with her assistant and she was much nicer but ended up moving on, I can definitely see why. The building that I own is old and has a lot of issues and the HOA tries its best to force homeowners to sell and or pay for HOA responsible maintenance.

We love our new on-site manager Kimberly Kizer. She makes it a pleasure serving on the Board here at Seahaus of La Jolla

Very happy with Kimberly and her response time and how quickly she is gaining knowledge of handling situations as they artist. Art Herman 5460 G101

1.0★May 2026

Very poor communication and customer service from N.N. Jaeschke (NNJ). Our community received a waste service change notice on Friday, May 8 informing us that trash pickup had already changed to Tuesday with the first Tuesday pickup having already occurred on May 5. Residents were effectively notified after the fact. I emailed NNJ asking for clarification and received no response. I called and left a voicemail for the community manager -- no callback. I then called the main office and was told neither the manager nor assistant manager was available. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incid…

Kim has assumed her new post with accountability, high organization and a friendly demeanor.

1.0★Apr 2026

We had a very concerning experience with N.N. Jaeschke’s management of our HOA water account. A utility invoice was not paid on time, and a delayed payment was later issued without confirming sufficient funds, resulting in a returned check. This directly triggered additional fees and a significant security deposit requirement from the City. What’s most concerning is that the explanation provided by management has been inconsistent. At different points, the issue was attributed to “autopay,” while later explanations cited low operating funds. These explanations do not align with each other or…

We’ve worked with Eric Muñoz on several large-scale projects, including Mission Trails Villas, and he brings a high level of transparency to his role. He keeps communication open between contractors and the Board, which helps set realistic expectations from the start. Throughout the project, he stays engaged and makes sure key items don’t get overlooked. That level of consistency helps projects stay on track. Thank you so much Eric for your help and attention to detail on these projects with us!

The worst experience you can imagine. A dishonest team of irresponsible associates. They don't care about your requests, don't reply to emails and don't fix HOA issues. Cheryl is the worst community manger you ever deal with in your life. I wish zero star was an option. they make me sick to my stomach. they are very disrespectful and unprofessional. I hate dealing with this company.

1.0★Dec 2025

(1 star only because zero is not an option) Associa NNJ's management of our HOA was so deficient that the board terminated their contract and transferred to another property management company effective July 1, 2025. My wife and I are still dealing with the consequences of their failures. WATER DAMAGE AND MOLD In November 2023, we reported a water leak in our ceiling to Associa NNJ. Despite multiple attempts to contact their Community Manager over the following months, the issue went unaddressed. Their vendor did not arrive until July 2024, eight months after the initial report. The vendor …

⭐☆☆☆☆ | Very Dissatisfied with Associa / N.N. Jaeschke I am extremely disappointed with Associa and the management provided by N.N. Jaeschke. Our HOA dues are being increased to $445 per month starting in 2026, which is an excessive and unjustified increase. I am not aware of any comparable HOA in San Diego experiencing an increase anywhere near this amount. Our community services are very limited, primarily consisting of basic landscaping. At this rate, the HOA will collect approximately $160,200 per year, yet there has been no clear, transparent explanation of where this money is being all…

As an HOA board member, I am so grateful for having Nicole Cummings as our community association manager. Being on the board for over five years, our HOA had four community managers over that span of time. I have to say Nicole is our most favorite. She is very knowledgeable, dependable, efficient, approachable and very dedicated and served our needs with unwavering passion. I am so happy and grateful to have a manager of such caliber. Thank you, NNJ Jaeschke, and special thanks to Nicole. Mesa Cove Board Member

Poor communication: The NN Jaeschke San Diego branch is slow or unresponsive to calls or emails, and fail to address Encinitas Villa tenant concerns promptly. Meeting notices, agendas and other required communication are not posted on the property in a timely and consistent manner. Hidden fees: This company lures you in with low advertised fees, then surprises you with additional charges for essential services like HOA documents, meeting minutes and other owner and buyer transaction fees. Neglecting property maintenance: Failure to address repairs, maintain landscaping, and deal with homeown…

I've worked with several property managers since buying at Seahaus, and Cody stands out as being one of the best. He's shown a rare ability to balance being professional while remaining patient with some of our more tricky owners. I've found him to really care, to listen and if something falls through the cracks - he's quick to reset and make it right. Cody is a gentleman and a steady professional presence - a great face for our community.

5.0★Jun 2025

HOA's often receive bad reviews, this is not one! HOA Managers have a tough job, enforcing rules homeowners approve for themselves. Yasmine Johnson at Cielo executes her duties in a highly professional manner, and never forgets she is dealing with humans, often during highly charged situations. She keeps interactions formal and professional, working within the parameters of the HOA Rules, all while handling the day to day administrative duties of the HOA. Great customer service skills to achieve positive outcomes for both the HOA and homeowners. Keep up you excellent work!

I manage several properties at Seahaus in La Jolla. Cody Phillips, the on-site property manager, is always extremely helpful and makes himself available should I have any needs related to the community and my guests. This is a large community with a lot of demands and Cody always makes time for me which I am extremely grateful for.

1.0★Jun 2025

Extremely disappointed with the service provided by N.N. Jaeschke as our HOA administrator. I have submitted multiple requests over the past six months, and not a single one has received a actionable response. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. As a homeowner, I expect at least basic follow-through on issues impacting the community. This level of negligence reflects very poorly on both the management company and the HOA board that continues to employ them.

5.0★Jun 2025

A few positive remarks regarding our Property Manager Cody Phillips at Seahaus. Owning the only commercial space in the community, Cody has helped us feel integrated and heard when it comes to running our business along side the residential owners. He is a sounding board for any ideas we have to promote and improve our business operations within the neighborhood and is prompt to answer our questions and address any concerns on a daily basis. We're in great hands and thankful for his partnership.

5.0★Jun 2025

I want to say a few positive things about Cody Phillips, property manager at Seahaus. I’ve been a homeowner since 2018 and I believe Cody has been the most effective manager in my six years living here. He quietly goes about the task of getting things done. He has made some very effective and positive changes around here in a very short time. He works well with our board and is quick to respond to anything that needs his attention. I am grateful for his service.

Marilyn is a top notch Customer Support Rep. She's personable, warm, and friendly, but also exceptionally professional and capable. She always conducts herself in a professional manner, looking out for the best interest of our condo association. She's capable of spinning several plates at one time with a smile. She is a major asset. We've been in this condo association for 24 years, and we think she is the best they've ever had. Thank you, Marilyn!

Wow. I have never met as incompetent a management company as NNJ. Their representatives are an ever rotating set of poorly trained, rude, unhelpful reps. Here are a set of cases their reps went after home owners for: - Want to fix your broken garage door? You need an architecture review and get signatures from all your neighbors even if it’s just a repair - Want to install a very basic light? Be expected to be ghosted you for 180 days and then accuse you of not following the rules - Someone saw a car driving “over” the speed limit? You need to monitor every car that passed your house or you’l…

I have been reaching out to the Concord square HOA management for a letter requesting about the owners responsibility for work in the unit, so that I can send it to insurance claim. They have been taking months to share me the letter. This is so frustrating. I have been calling them everyday, they mentioned that they made the ticket as high priority as haven’t received a letter even after more than a month. I have even reached out to community manager and director by email and phone, they never respond or respond after one month that they are looking into it. I have waiting for the letters fr…

My husband and I have been working with Yasmine Johnson on the HOA side. And she has been WONDERFUL. I'm sorry to read about the bad reviews on this company but Yasmine belongs to a different league altogether. She is quick to respond, super helpful and a genuine nice person who is committed to her work. We are very lucky to have Yasmine take care of us and guard our interest. She is a true keeper!

1.0★Dec 2024

Terrible customer service, never show up to meetings , unprepared, can't do financial statements. Completely inept.

5.0★Dec 2024

It's been a year since we bought a property in a community managed by NNJ HOA. The general manager Yasmine and others in the office are very professional, prompt in answering questions and providing guidance. The owners are informed about events and other updates in a timely manner. Overall, very satisfied with our experience with NNJ HOA.

Our community Manager, Lana, has been very attentive to our community since she has taken over our account. She genuinely cares about our association and is always responsive whenever we have a need or a request. She is proactive in helping us take on large projects and is very knowledgeable of the industry. Since all of our board members are busy and work full time, she helps take a lot off of our plate. We are very happy we made the switch to have NNJ manage our community as of a couple of years ago.

Charisse McLaughlin continues to be extremely responsive. Very professional and courteous. Couldn’t ask for a better HOA community manager. Thx, John + Victoria

1.0★Dec 2024

I am a board member. This company is quite frankly the worst organization, top down. We e gone to the directors and to the CEO. Still nothing. In the meantime, our elevators, building alarm, sparklers, and repair work doesn’t even get bids for the jobs to be done. When they do bid the jobs, they do so inaccurately. We’ve had 4 managers in 3 years. After the first manager, no one has done anything. What’s worse, they don’t care. The organization appears to be falling apart at the seems. I wish I could give them a -100 star rating. My disgust, dissatisfaction, and stress are through the roof. I …

Gina and Charise, and the rest of the staff at NNJ are a joy to work with. Very understanding of the needs of a Community Association, and are always working ahead to ensure deadlines are met.

5.0★Dec 2024

Charise has been wonderful to work with over the last few years. Her knowledge and expertise help association manage difficult projects and strategic planing.

5.0★Nov 2024

Our HOA has been with NNJ for 25+ years. While NNJ overall hasn’t always achieved a 5 star rating I’m pleased to say our current manager Kimberly Kizer has been excellent (5 stars!) for our time together. She manages our complicated organization, along with many others. She’s highly responsive and capable of working with a wide range of homeowners and board members- some of which are very difficult to work with. Additionally she works to improve the organization and processes.

1.0★Sep 2024

I owned a rental property in a project managed by NNJ. When they took over, HOA fees rose steeply, with no discernable difference in common area management. Worse yet, when I sold my unit, I noticed that I had been double charged on my HOA fee, so I contacted my representative to get a refund. That was on May 13, 2024. After countless emails and phone calls, most of which went without a response, I finally got my refund check on September 17, 2024, over FOUR MONTHS LATER. So glad never to have to deal with them again.

5.0★Sep 2024

Gina is so thoughtful and kind. I accidentally erred by proceeding with improvements that were not approved. She was both professional and understanding and walked me through the proper procedures. It's easy to forget that the folks representing the HOA are people too, but the genuine kindness she showed while assisting in the process reminded me to be thankful to work with such wonderful folks.

1.0★Aug 2024

Worst HOA I have ever dealt with. It’s almost like they are clueless. Our maintenance person was out so instead of hiring another service during his weeks long absence they just let our home look like a slum. Our elevators have not been inspected in 2 years even though there was a crash years ago. The elevators are dangerous and have not been inspected. I have lived here not even a year and I wish I never bought here.

1.0★Aug 2024

The worst, most unresponsive HOA. They are completely unsure of their own rules and are quick to say “owner issue”. I’ve gone through multiple fights with them to PROVE it is covered by HOA. I spend $650 a month in HOA dues to read rules for them and beg them to fix things for my condo. This time a roof leak in my attic space has completely warped and gone through my ceiling…. Somehow this is “owner issue, call a plumber”

1.0★Aug 2024

Would give zero stars if I could. This management company states that they provide exceptional care and yet we have spent months trying to get something figured out. We have done all the forms of communication from HOA meetings to town square. Even in town square when we had asked for a call our issue would just be “closed.” If you call, no one. The residents in my community are so exhausted by the lack of communication that our HOA meetings run over just so they can be heard yet still nothing changes. This is disheartening to trust them and to feel so left in the dark.

1.0★Aug 2024

I have been calling, emailing for 5 plus months in regards to our Greenspace that is maintained and funded by my neighbors and I. We have had broken rusty benches that have been laying around with sharp and dangerous corners for all that come in contact. This company seems fraudulent. No one here advocates for this neighborhood or gets things done.

1.0★Aug 2024

If I could put zero stars I would. This management company is horrendous. They don’t care about residence or providing solutions at all. It’s absolutely absurd what has happened in our community at our own expense and no one seems to care.

1.0★Jul 2024

I call every time customer service number and still no answer, have multiple times through varies times of the day , yet still no answer

1.0★Jun 2024

The worst managment company ever. No way to contact anyone for immediate issues and not one response from them for months. They do not provide minutes of HOA meetins. they do not respond to maintenance or public records requests, the phone number is a voicemail and no live humans. The close issues without ever doing anything or responding. They ignore the law and just ignore owners. All the reps assigned to our community only lasted a day or two and then we were told "No longer with the company." What a rip off. Do not ever hire this company.

1.0★Jun 2024

If I could give this company zero stars I would. You have to call several times in order to get an answer, and most of the time, they are unable to give you a clear answer. There are unanswered emails and customer service is probably one of the worst I’ve encountered. Avoid them.

1.0★May 2024

wishing i could leave 0 stars. I’m not sure anyone actually works here. i’ve often gone multiple months without a response via townsq, email and phone. I’ve experienced multiple leaks from the roof and they have never been repaired. instead somehow to them the logical explanation was to cut holes and staple a tarp on the roof creating staple holes across my ceiling and craters of open wall/roof. it has almost been a year and still no repairs

Absolutely incompetent. Misses deadlines. Fails to respond. Mishandles reserve funds. Basically refuses to do their job. Never use this company for anything.

Account managers matter. Leah has been unbelievable. Through the fallout of COVID and changes we were forced to make, our association had 3 years of frustration. Owners spoke up and demanded performance. NNJ blessed us with a wonderful account manager. We are back to making progress.

Leah and Jessica have done an amazing job turning our experience around with NN Janske. They are both professional and extremely prompt in immediate action items. Jessica posts notifications at lightening speed, immediately hops on follow-ups on projects and is an overall joy to work with. Review from an owner of a condo from HOA(Coral Ridge) managed by NNJ in SD(if I could give 0 stars to them I would do): Without the full knowledge of why the HOA board picked up this company four years ago, I have noticed some issues: 1. The communication channels between NNJ and HOA members are set in a way to make every request, from little tasks to more complicated ones, bureaucratically expensive in terms of time and lack diligence; 2. The high turnover of HOA managers over the past years can be a red flag; 3. Miscommunication between the management team and HOA members, e.g., generati…

1.0★Feb 2024

I have been utterly disappointed with the lack of response from the NNJ staff. I have 4 HOAs that I work with and they are the least professional and most unaccountable for their actions.

1.0★Jan 2024

I would give it a zero if I could. I am posting for the HOA that I am associated with and this company's current manager is extremely unethical. I have caught her in many lies about the company's financial reports as well as other areas of the condo complex.

1.0★Jan 2024

When you call and leave a message…no one calls back or send an email. This has happened to me at least 3 times. Not happy with HN Jaeschke at all. We need to get another company to manage the property.

5.0★Oct 2023

This has to be one of the finest management companies. I have been working with various management companies around the United States for various properties. This company is superb. I requested to have security doors installed on my 2 condominiums, and the community manager Gina was on it right away. Outstanding company.

The irresponsible and unprofessional property management I had to deal with. I am the property owner of Village Woods and Associa NNJ used to be manage the building. Early this year, HOA requested to replace the sliding patio door due to the leaking to the unit below. We followed all the steps and procedures (gathered all the signatures from tenants/owners, submitted the application and drawing).
