Thank You Joy C. Kane After managing a small rental house remotely myself for many years I tried a gazillion property management companies with complete disgust. Initially skeptical of Penny Realty, finally the property was assigned to Joy Kane. I have been with Penny Realty since 2023, and have been happy with tenant placement, communication, and professional management. While I was out of the country, my property manager, Emily Young, was essential in the communication and resolution of an unforeseen issue at my property. What could have been a much more stressful situation was handled by Emily with ease and proficiency. Thank you to all at Penny!

Joy has been a really efficient handler of my property. Renewals, repairs, billings and tenant issues are handled quickly and professionally.

Would give them 0 stars if I could. Truly the worst property management company I have worked with. They are very rude and unprofessional. Don’t actually fix issues, just bandaid them. Do not trust them with your property.

We switched from a large management company to Penny Realty late last year. The communication has been night and day compared to the prior company. Emily has always promptly responded even if she did not have an immediate answer to a question and follow ups have always been received. I now feel confident my property is in the right hands to manage it and my investment is better protected.

I started working with Penny Realty in October to manage my four properties, and the experience has been very positive so far. Joy and Penny Realty have been great managing my properties. I don't live in California so I rely on Joy to take care of all the issues that inevitably come up. From getting repairs done, leasing to tenants to collecting rents it's all handled promptly. I'm kept in the loop and, really, I don't have to worry about a thing.

Lucas has been amazing to work with! He helped me every step of the way and made the transition to new property management so easy. He’s responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares. I’m so glad to have him managing my property.

18 months assigned to Joy Kane. $30k down the drain. False claims, negligence, no reinforcement, minimal contact, the tenants' complaints mirrored the PM reports, while my concerns were bypassed even stated she would throw my keys away. I would like an immediate response from her management, not her.

Awful, just awful. Only interested in how much money they can make off you. Their owners rental contract is a joke. They don't screen tenants very well. If you are considering using them, read over the contract like your life depended on it. Once you have read it, go somewhere else. And your welcome for the heads up.

My wife and I stayed at the “Coastal Escape 2” in San Diego and it is the epitome of “location, location, location”! This place had it all - just steps from the ocean, within short walking distance of entertainment and restaurants, and was the perfect way to unwind. Being able to walk barefoot to the beach every night to watch the waves was a highlight. The inside was clean and had everything we needed. We cannot wait to return!

My family loved the house and Penny was really helpful and responsive. We arrived early and they let us check in. Perfect location just steps from the bay and under 5 minute walk to the ocean. Anytime I have a question/issue with a maintenance or parking problem, they respond in a timely and professional manner. I rented from Penny Realty for a week long stay in Mission Beach. The home could not have been any better! It had everything we needed. It was as described in the listing and pictures, the staff was attentive to my questions, and they made the check in and check out process a breeze. We loved this place. It was perfect for our family of four. The condo is ocean front and we loved all the windows that let in a nice ocean breeze. It has plenty of space to hang out both inside and out. We are already planning our next stay.

We stayed at Mariner's Cove #1 in Mission Beach with plenty of room for a family of five spaced out on three floors with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom for each. We rented a house in San Diego that was in the perfect location next to Balboa Park, it’s registered as historic and is GORGEOUS! The back yard has a patio and grassy area with a hot tub! Our kids played in the backyard most days. There are restaurants within walking distance. Trisha and Regina were great host! This stay was a great Vacay home we hope to book again!🩷

This place in Ocean Beach was amazing to stay at and we will be back. The positive vibes could be felt inside and out. The beach front view was incredible! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and supplied for all that we needed. The area was quiet at night and pleasantly active during the day. We appreciate the hosts and their quick response at the time of booking/checkout. We didn’t have any issues to message them about during our time there. Definitely will be back!

Decked Out 1 is a stunning home by the water with breathtaking views. Check-in was easy and Tisha was very helpful. The waterfront location was breathtaking, and the property exceeded expectations. It is the perfect escape, I highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

Penny realty has been absolutely wonderful In all realms. Moving is usually so stressful and they managed to make it a fast, less than 2 day turnover from me touring to moving in, while also meeting all of my needs in truly my dream rental! Penny Realty has been managing the home I rent for past 3 years. I appreciate their online portal which makes everything easy! You can pay rent and submit maitenence request all in the same place. They do take care of our needs as tenants in a timely manner. I especially appreciate James in accounting for his attention to detail. The reason for 4 stars is that not all the employees are as nice. But still overall satisfied.

Our family of 5 booked a townhome in Sail Bay thru Penny Realty in September 2023. Penny Realty was wonderful to work with and their response time was fast.
