Pure Property Management team have been a blessing. Since day one they have been supportive, professional and extremely helpful. Being a landlord can be a stressful experience but Thurea and the team made my experience smooth and stress free as possible. I have been renting my home for 11 years and management has changed through the years most recently the last couple years since it transitioned over to Pure my experience has been good but specifically Rizielle has always been a pleasure to work with always on top of things any question i have even if its not an area that shes in charge of she still makes sure to guide me to the right people. Horrible manager for landlords. They mismanaged my asset to the point of negligence.

Ralston was the original company that took over managing my home when previous company was no longer doing a good job. Eventually Companies merged and PURE Property Management took over for several years until I moved back into my residence. They provided good communication, provided quotes when repairs were needed, looked out for the home and assisted with home upgrades. Do not work with Pure. They have had several layoffs and the new staff is not in the least bit helpful. They lack training and will mismanage your property big time.

Do not hand over your property to pure. They have had a lot of layoffs and churn. The people that used to work there were so great and their replacements are absolutely in the dark and make every process very frustrating. They will grossly mismanage your property.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. We were with Pure for a year. They are the most irresponsible and unprofessional management company. DO NOT USE THEM!!! We had 3 different property leads in a year, the last one left while our tenants moved out and no one notified us. As a homeowner, I would not recommend using this management company. As a renter, I would stay away from renting a property that they manage. I moved into my rental to only find over a dozen things wrong, it has been almost 4 weeks and only one issue has been addressed.

I have been fortunate to provide a house for rent for 16 years, and am very pleased that we have used Pure Property Management for the 4 placements over that time. Jennifer has been amazing, and each time she has held an Open House and each time amazing tenants have been found on the day of the Open House. Do you enjoy micromanaging? Do you love being ignored? Do you crave paying people for a job just to have to force them to do the work? No? Then, I strongly caution against using PURE. We used them for tenant placement and would not recommend them. Highly disappointed in the lack of communication and how poorly our property was managed. The representative did not catch a lot of damage and issues to our practically pristine townhome at turnover/move-out. Our experience has been terrible once this south county office has got involved in managing anything on our property. There is no attention to detail and many items fall through the cracks. As a homeowner, this is very frustrating.

I am a landlord of a mere 1.5 years who has had my property transferred to PURE property management late last year 2023 from Palomar Property Management services. As you can tell form my length of being a landlord, my experience making "passive income" has left so much to be desired. It's too bad this system won't let me do negative stars. Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had, bare none, in any industry. They don't return emails or calls -- not to us as owners and not even to our guests when they are staying in our home. Things were broken, the gas to our firepit was left on, when our neighbors had noise issues with a tenant, they said it was a Saturday so they would get back to them on Monday. What?!? We had to threaten legal action to get our deposit back when we fired them. Owners: DO NOT use this company.

I rented from pure for three years and had a pleasant experience. My point of contact was Jenn Stepp. She made the whole process pretty easy from move in to move out. I really appreciated the ease of making maintenance requests and the work got done in a timely manner with professional contractors. Really helpful and responsive whenever we needed help with our plumbing services. Shout out to Shirley “Joy” De Asis for facilitating and being the point of contact. Easy to communicate with and reliable.

We just moved out of one of their rentals and even that we cleaned perfectly, left the place as we moved in, they made up a bunch of charges and took around 700 dlls in damages and deep cleaning services from our security deposit, even that we documented the pre existing damages on our move in inspection and they know they never repaired them, on top of that they charged us an extra day of rent for dropping the keys after hours even that they advised us to do that! We moved out late cause we’re a military family and we are moving far!

I had an unexpected issue with a leaking water heater in my unit at an extremely inconvenient time, and Joy from the PURE Property Management team was incredibly helpful. She coordinated the replacement within 24 hours and ensured everything was taken care of in an expedited and professional manner. Within the first month, we discovered a severe rodent infestation in our kitchen, including mouse droppings inside cabinets and chewed food. Upon further inspection, we found mold, feces, and a visible entry point behind the dishwasher leading to the area beneath the sink and adjacent cabinets, all of which also contained significant rodent droppings. Current resident for the last year. Management is extremely unresponsive. Has taken over three weeks to get a call back (still have not received one) to learn about options to vacate. Our original PM left the company, we were never given a new contact, when we called the office we were told the new PM was unavailable and then told he's in the hospital and only responding to urgent messages but he'd be back within the week. This company is absolute trash. I am a tenant and they never fulfill requests on time if at all. I have tried to work with them and I can’t even speak with a person. Just emails and voicemails that go unanswered. The one time I did get in touch with someone she gave me attitude and was upset that I was even calling her.

Worst property manager ever. We just moved to property managed by PURE on Jan 10 and realize that water heater was not working. After several hours of working moving all of our stuff we wanted to have a hot shower. I submitted the report even to the emergency line without any positive feedback about having a technician to fix the problem. HOME was dirty and looks like an abandoned home from outside. It's been a great experience viewing their properties. I have toured them in the past and liked the self-guided tours. I had mistakently gone to the front door to another home and the gentleman living there was very kind and offered assistance if I ran into any issues. The key pad didn't work, but he came around to check in and was helpful and opened it for me to view. Al from Pure, who called me to let me know my application was accepted, was also very kind and understanding after i requested a change in the move-in date with no issues. 🙏🏽

As a tenant it has been a living nightmare working with this group. Slow to respond, or never respond. Tells you “I’m handling it.” Bills from previous tenants being transferred to us. The worst communication experience. Never rent with them again. I was their tenant for 2 years and there were a lot of issues from the beginning. 1. Agents left the company and there's no client transition procedure. They just leave you without anybody to contact. 2. All the issues were fixed slowly. Poor policies and procedures -- you can pay some things with a Portal but they ask you to hand deliver a Cashiers Check for their commission / 'deposit' -- even after you ACH other money via the Portal. The only reason I am giving two stars is because I happened to get my full deposit back which I absolutely deserved. This company dropped the ball big time. The house we rented in imperial beach had some water damage due to the rains and they did get remediation services in there but they never fixed the collapsing roof over the back patio room which happened to be the only way out to the back yard. Overall I had a good experience. Everyone was nice and helpful, just a little confusing at times since I was being contacted by different people. I talked to Christine, Al Joaquino and finalized the lease with Jenn (they were all great) also the process was pretty fast. The one thing I did not like and the reason I am leaving 4 and not 5 stars was the constant nagging to leave a review. Since day one I was contacted multiple times a day with the sole purpose of asking if I wrote a review even though I made it clear I would write one once the process was over.

For anyone looking to rent you know that applying for a rental can be a stressful experience in general. Luckily, we received tremendous help from Al. He was available to answer questions in a timely manner and walked us through the entire process. He truly cares for the people he’s helping. DO NOT USE!! The incompetence runs SO deep with this company. I could go on and on about the mistakes they make and about their consistently poor communication, but the current struggle is that our trash service is being discontinued today, and it’s their fault. When we moved in, there was no check list or list of utilities provided, but my fiance and I set up everything we knew to set up. Cut to 4/29 (4.5 months into our lease) when we receive an email from Bryan Coburn with an attached past-due bill for trash (sent to the owners), with service being terminated on 5/15 if there was no furth…

I found a beautiful home for rent on the Pure Property Management website. I live in San Jose, CA, but I will be moving to San Diego for a new job. The staff at Pure Property Management was accommodating. Al, in particular, guided me through the process and arranged a virtual tour for me. Overall, it has been a great experience so far.

They illegally hold deposits upon move-out, charged for changing lightbulbs when lightbulbs were their responsibility on the lease. Charged $100 for the lightbulb change and a drain stop. Held another $200 for 'light cleaning' despite saying that the apartment looked great when conducting the move-out inspection.

I am really disappointed with this property! When we first move we really had hard time! It wasn’t good experience. Now They charge us because of garbage disposal that has been get stuck! One technician showed up and just pressed a button then it is done!! So in charge details there is no any description! Ignoring emails! The worst company I have ever Rented from, too many issues to list and not worth the time. If you have a choice go with another company. 2 hrs ago your company replied - if you truly cared that , my experience was frustrating, and if you guys truly provide simple and satisfying experiences for your renters, then I simply asked that you write your wrongs! Return my Security Deposit that you wrongfully took! I am requesting a phone number for your Corporate Office, please provide.

We just moved in and they never call back. Multiple issues have happened so far in just two weeks. Was told the trash was paid by owner and our trash was never picked up! Left messages, texted and used the portal like they asked and no response. This company will collect the owners money and never do anything.

They have been quick to respond to any maintenance requests.

We had a garage door spring break and trapped our cars in the garage and they made a repair happen within an hour so we could make our appointments later in the day. Aurora and the rest of her team did a great job and we really appreciated it.
