I would give 0 stars if I could. They are fortunate I did not pursue legal action. When I first purchased the property and listed it for rent in 2022, I received 77 applications within just two days. In 2024, I hired Uplift because I was too busy to manage the property myself. Despite their assurances, they were unable to rent the property for three months. When I asked to take back management of the property, they claimed the rental market was poor for landlords, which turned out to be completely untrue. Would not recommend using for your property management needs. Lots of turnover - in the span of 2 years, I had 3 different managers and it was not clearly communicated when there was turnover. They did not properly renew my tenants lease and the tenants ended up living in my house for 3 full months with no lease. Hard to get a hold of anyone at the company; my emails would regularly go unanswered, and when I left voicemails they often weren't promptly responded to.

Megan with Uplift is a fantastic property manager. She is on top of the process, very quick to get the ball rolling in getting properties listed for rent on market, and she’s very communicative.

This is a terrible property management company for owners. It’s a complete waste of time.There is absolutely no communication. The only person that answers the phone is Jorge. They want you to lower the rent and then they take over a month to get back to you on emails or tenants applications. Or there is no response at all then they take your money. I finally fired them and found my own tenants. It was such a huge waste of time and no rent collected.

I wish my experience was better but as a property owner they are very slow to respond. You call and email and it’s crickets. I would not work with them again.

Throughly prepared property and managed rental of the property

Although I've had several hiccups with previous managers within this company, I was finally paired with Stephen who has been nothing but great in spite of the mess he was thrown into. He is clear, responsive and professional, and has been able to address and help me with all of our issues.

On boarding was a smooth process to get into their system and unit got rented within the first month. I was first assigned to 1 account manager and then there was a shift and this was a confusing period which is the only reason this is not a 5 star. Uplift has been managing our property for over a year and their communication is excellent. Information about your property is always at your fingertips through the owner’s on-line private portal. We’re very happy with the lease agreement set forth for potential renters, and they are very proactive for the renters ensuring they immediately had all the benefits of living in the community. They are Proactive, Fair and Friendly.

Megan has provided superior service from screening tenants to coordinating with contractors and getting estimates, getting the lease signed with new tenants and renewing an existing lease while taking over the property management from another company. Uplift utilizes state of the art tools and services for landlords to view statements, lease agreements, move in photos and checklists and for tenants to make payments.

I've been using Uplift for 2 years now, and my property manager Megan has been very responsible and helpful. She always answers and follows up on my questions. I recommend using their service.

The statement confusing and not accurate I discussed it with Megan many time the last statement my share is short $395.00 so far no good explanation , there was one time before I show it to Megan for over $400.00 few month ago , no answer yet of any explanation

I bought my unit in 2020 and had to move after two years. My agent recommended uplift to me to help managing my unit rental and maintenance for a reasonable monthly fee. In the past three years I have been very satisfied with their services. They are experienced at finding good tenants, taking care of all the fixing and helping moving in of new appliances without extra charges. Be careful with Uplift processes where it is only benefiting themselves instead of the tenants or the owners. 1/ Communications can take days to get any response. Management is approved of this process hence their property manager does not have the need to get back to the tenants or the owners quickly even on urgent matters like fixing important items in the house. 2/ Uplift get the late fees instead of the owner and yet the owner still gets paid late if the tenants is late. Terrible experience with Uplift PM! Unresponsive to emails and calls. We’ve been trying to get a hold of the PM for the past three weeks since we moved back into our property to clarify some of the questions we have. They went completely MIA. Unacceptable! I will not use them again after this experience.

My son lived in a roach-infested property for over six months, and despite submitting more than a dozen maintenance requests, the issue was never properly resolved. To make matters worse, we consistently paid around $115 per month for water, but the final bill was nearly $500—even though my son was no longer living in the unit because of the roach infestation. We moved to Villa Del Cerro in Nov 2023 because we wanted to live in a suburban neighborhood and still have some of the conveniences of an urban lifestyle with easy access to the freeway. A few additions to my review of Vista Bonita Apartments (Uplift Property Management)includes the sense of community here - our neighbors are warm and friendly and I believe we owe that to our manager Dawn Diaz who is the driving force behind it. From the well-organized events like our Christmas Party and this year a Lunar Celebration too, to the general upkeep of the property, she clearly cares about making this a great place to call home. Vista Bonita is a great place to live. Close to everything I need. Dawn(Manager) does a great job keeping the place nice and comfortable, great communication with tenants, she resolves any issues that arise in a timely manner.

Lorraine Paniagua located in the Cajon property is fantastic. She is really helpful and makes her tenants feel welcomed. She is also so great at organizing holidays gathering for her residents. Her property always looks clean and peaceful.

Great experience this property, occasionally a noisy neighbor or two but that comes with the territory of renting. Im not sure if Dawn Diaz is a permanent manager but she certainly should be! She handled my issues with grace and understanding. When I called about a leaky sink she had someone up within ylthe hour to fix it. Incredibly compassionate and friendly, I highly recommend this place for couples ans small families.

My friend and I have just moved into the Del Cerro Apartment complex and we have had a very smooth and enjoyable time settling in. The landlord, Pete, is a very friendly and professional landlord who made us feel comfortable renting from. He is east to get ahold of and has made sure we have all that we need for our living situation. Great property management! They're maintenance people are always nice & helpful & the office staff (esp. Brittany) are super nice & work with you to solve problems. We've had various issue with our complex (dumpster getting overfilled, non-residents dumping trash in the dumpster area, exterior lights going out/timer being off, etc) and Britt helped get us a recycling dumpster, find someone to clean up the dumpster regularly, and got all the lights fixed. Highly recommend!

Beware. Pay close attention to the dates and review contexts. Everything is all great at first, but later... As a former tenant, I don't recommend move here and the manager/management company could careless about your overall well-being, safety, or peace of mind. I not only had issues, but other friends/neighbors. We've all left.

My experience with this property management company and property manager, Peter Brunetto has been great. Properties are well kept, clean and safe. Never have a problem with excessive noise, maintenance requests or rent. Really great place to live.
