This management company is terrible. They do not upkeep the building. It is always very nasty in the hallways. I’ve been to two different locations and it’s disgusting. When you call to have them come clean, they never come. Nothing works in their apartments and when you call for Repair, they make it a problem. And it does not help that they are very nasty on the phone.

This was an amazing experience made me feel welcome and part of a community. She was very polite and kind and helped me do the application made me understand that they were there to help and support loved the building. Me and my family left and did not renew a lease for 2026 . We informed management more than 60 days in Advance . Actually informed them September 2025 !!!!!!!!!! They kept my security deposit and sent a statement saying we broke our lease and we informed them more than 60 days in advance that we will not be renewing the lease !! They also added a 260$ fee stating we had unpaid rent for March and we left our unit Feb 28 2026 to a whole new state . Office manages properties they know nothing of, don't communicate with service companies that are supposed to keep up the building. Windows falling out of the wall on the stairwell, flooding laundry room, heating with zero control or reliability or consistency. If you talk to one person, you can be sure no one else will know anything about it. If you show up for keys, you get tossed from one person to the next, they try to charge for every single possible thing they can while never fixing any serious issues with building security or maintenance. My first experience with janice was great, but after i got my keys everything has not been easy. You send emails no one respond to you, they have a tenant portal that i have never been able to log in. I have reach out to company but they refer me to the company they never respond. Janice was great once again after my move in not happy at all

10 out of 10 DO NOT recommend unless you have no other option. They never plow the parking lot, every time you call no one ever picks up the phone, and every other week they have pest control.

I lived on Hughes st in May apartments they are one of many buildings owned by maple group majority of the buildings are full of black mold they charge way to much for a unit that is potentially deadly from black mold beware of this the keep it hidden from the tenants it's so bad mushrooms grow through the sheetrock

Worst establishment. If your heat is down they will take weeks upon weeks for maintenance to come and fix it. Will leave you in the cold apartment. If your apartment has any issues you will literally have to go beyond measures just to get in contact with someone one and they will come weeks later. The only thing they will make sure they contact you back amount is their rent. Worst place to live. Sean is the worst from leasing, they had my cousin in the freezing cold apartment and no one came to fix it after a week or so. He told her that it showed the heat was on, on his end so he couldn’t d…

Been there for a year and this place is horrible. leaking in windows since the day i moved in, heater hasnt worked since day one and they come on their own time to do minimal work. would not suggest anyone to move in to these apartments.

Maple group owns half of the apartment in hartford Ct yet there employees don’t know how to talk to tenants or potential tenants, not only that they come and do maintenance work when they feel like it and don’t even let it snow you can forgot about going work they come and clear the snow when they feel like it. And for the price of rent you’ll think they fix’s the elevators or even clean up the hall….. they come and clean once again when they feel like it. And last but not least DO NOT rent a basement apartment from them anytime it rains you apartment will flood. Basically just saved your tim…

It’s going on one year with renting from this property management and it’s been great when you call maintenance they respond so quick no matter what time of the day it is. Any concerns the office listens and takes charge. JO is one of the agents that help me find my new home and he’s a great help. Waiting for a two bedroom and the remodels are out of this world can’t wait

Since Maple group took over the management of my apartment I feel like my voice is being heard,in particular my interactions with Andrew in their legal department, has always been about integrity and care for issue that's affecting me as a tenant. And I must say I appreciate all he's trying to do in making this building a better place to live for people like me that calls it home.
