I've rented my home to others with the help of Anchor Down for nearly a year and have no complaints thus far. Anchordown Property Management made renting our home easy. They have found a tenant for us quickly each time and communicate regulalry and transparently. Appreciate Brooke, our manager, who always responds quickly to any issues from the tenant or questions from us. Ben also does a great job in the process of getting a tenant placed. And the rest of the Anchordown team, appreciate them! Also happy to work with a company that offers flat management rate instead of percentage. Their fee is extremely reasonable for the service and peace of mind they provide.

As an owner I would NOT recommend this group. They charge owners for the destruction renters do versus charging the renters. They are way more concerned with getting a bad review from a renter so make owners pay for all of the repairs. Torn screens, faucets completely broken off the sink, torn down window coverings, etc. They also allowed large animals and bigger groups than our contract allowed for.

We stayed in numerous Air bnb rentals after the hurricane damaged our home. The property managed by Anchor Down gave us the best customer service experience. We noticed our toddler found some food garage under the living room sofas. We noticed nobody had moved the furniture to vacuum and clean. I let them know and they sent a cleaning crew in about 10 min who moved the furniture and fully cleaned the floors so it was safer for our toddler. The washing machine ended up leaking about a week in. They sent someone to repair it within the hour. They also contacted me a few weeks in saying they were…

Cockroaches, mold, filthy floors, no hot water, ceiling panels hanging down, front door not sealed, hole in mattress with a sharp metal spring sticking out. Host only offered to come and spray pesticides. Currently pregnant and had a toddler with us, pesticides in our place and around our stuff was not an option. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND

Sunshine Cove was the perfect spot for our vacation. The backyard was great! Our fur babies loved the turf and fenced yard. Location was central to beaches and other activities. All the beds were comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Renting from Anchor Down has been nothing but a pleasant experience ! Everything we ask or needed was there for us. The house we stayed in was brand new and was just plain awesome. Our hot tub was not working properly and they come out and took care of it in a timely manner!! It was in a quiet neighborhood and was just a nice place to hang out and enjoy! The house and experience with Anchor Down was absolutely flawless!! We stayed at Driftwood Dreams and it blew past all hopes and expectations that we had. The house was beautiful and clean. Location was perfect for us, nice neighborhood and the company was easy to communicate with. Large home with plenty of room for the whole family. The only things I would say weren’t perfect was the pool never got warm enough for us Illinoisan’s and it was very, very, VERY loud. At one point we had to shut it off so we could sleep because it was up against one of the master walls. We had a wonderful stay at the Mermaid Villa. The house had plenty of towels for the shower and the pool. The beds were all comfortable and the location was great! We loved the pool and the view of the canal! Would definitely stay here again! The rental company was great to work with as well!

Our stay at One Particular Penthouse was absolutely magnificent! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the high-end furnishings and beautiful décor. We had a great stay. The four stars is because the place did not come with Coffee, Tea, Salt or Pepper. I think they let you know this, but it would be helpful to have these staples when you get in late and no time to shop. Our group had both A and B wich made for a great way to stay close, but have your own family space. The walk to the beach is easy, across the street and the beach is amazing. The beds were very nice also. The entry instructions are good and when we had a problem (operator error) the night person we reached by phone was very helpful. I recommend this property.

Sandy’s Retreat: The house was nicely located close to Anna Maria Island, a grocery store, restaurants and shopping. Our boys LOVED being able to fish off the dock in the back yard - that was definitely a highlight! The pool and games in the garage kept our boys entertained! After Hurricane Helene destroyed our home (along with so many others) it became pretty difficult to find housing within our price range but this rental agency was determined to help us out and got us into a place where we felt comfortable and safe. They've been absolutely accommodating and would definitely recommend them to our friends and family. Special shout out to Ben who helped us find our spot and Brooke for staying on top of any questions or issues that we had!

This home was beautiful and so peaceful just what my husband & I needed for a relaxing get away with our fur babies. We had so much fun playing all the games like corn hole, putting green, pool table and the arcade games and more. Swimming in the heated pool watching the sunset every evening was truly a stunning view off the pond. The house is just as pictured and won’t be disappointed. We can’t wait to come back and book again with Anchor Down Real Estate & Rentals they were very attentive.

The only reason this is not a 5 star review is due to the pool. It was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned lately. We basically could not use the pool for the first 36 hours of our rental. The jets were also not working properly and management never addressed it after they assured us that they would.

We had an amazing vacation at this home! We absolutely loved it. The home had everything we needed and felt so warm, cozy, and beautifully maintained. You could tell a lot of care went into every detail. The communication with the management company was exceptional, they were responsive, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. We recently stayed at Tropical Tranquility and had a great experience. The home was exactly as described, clean comfortable, and beautiful! The private pool was nice for the kiddos to entertain themselves during days we didn't visit the beach. The host even allowed us to have an early check in when we arrived slightly earlier than expected. The garage had items we were able to use for the beach and pool--we also left extra floaties for future guests! We loved staying at Jerry’s Gem! The home was clean and had everything we needed! Toys for the kids to play with and also for the pool! This rental has been a great experience for us. I have rented many vacation homes that were nice but the cost to stock the home for the week with essentials is costly and wasteful with what you haven’t used forced to dispose of. For us we were not here for vacation but to take care of and visit with our father. The home had great curb appeal, but the interior left much to be desired. While spacious, the layout felt disjointed, with uneven floors and a “bedroom” that lacked a closet. Cleanliness was also an issue—dusty light fixtures, dirty area rugs, and cumbersome blinds made the stay less enjoyable. The cake mixer had rust on the beaters so we had to purchase a new one. This is a fantastic property. We had a group of 10 seniors. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and updated. We stayed at a property managed by Anchor Downs from December 27/24 to January 3/25 with a large family group. We were very pleased with the rental in every respect. It was clean, VERY well equipped and perfect for our family. We had 3 concerns during our stay which were addressed very promptly and resolved perfectly. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Booked with Anchor Down and then had two flights cancelled due to two hurricanes! Anchor down were superb in altering arrangements despite what must have been a very busy time for them with properties damaged by the hurricanes. We had two breakdowns with machines in the property and these were dealt with promptly. The property was spotlessly clean and best equipped that we stayed in. This should be the benchmark for letting agents.

We rented a condo from ADPM for two years- when the fridge went out- got a new one asap. When the a/c stopped they were there asap. Very important and they did take care of it. But no action was ever taken about the leaky slider after 4 emails (needed 3 towels every time it rained!) or the black mold I ended up removing myself from the slider blinds. So, when we received our security deposit less $300 for missing light bulbs (removed because they strobe) and an a/c filter and a refrigerator filter.. pretty nasty. If I could leave 0 stars I would! We rented a house from this company in May of 2023 for a year. Moving from out of state and only viewed the house via FaceTime since we were crunched for time. This house was on higher end at 4300/month with a pool/spa. Loved this property! This was my first experience renting a home so I was a bit apprehensive about whether this was the right choice for my family of 10 who were gathering for my dad’s funeral. We loved Cortez Cabana! It is beautiful and well-equipped with everything you need. We didn't want to leave, and if the home had been available, we would have extended our stay. Anchor Down was very quick to respond to any questions we had. My only suggestion when renting is to bring bug spray for the no-see-um bugs. They love some people and don't bother others. My husband's legs looked like he had chicken pox, my son had a few bites, and nine of us had no bites at all. The pool guy suggested we go to Ace Hardware and get spray for them, which worked well. Seas The Day is a very nice property in a quiet neighborhood with low traffic. Beds are comfortable, pool is very nice. The bath towels really should be replaced...dingy looking and could be such a quick fix. A few extra blankets would be a nice touch as well. The rental company, Anchor Down is wonderful to book with. I have never had any issues booking through them. And their cleaning team always does a very good job.

We loved the Ocean Star! The property was very clean and in a quiet location on the island. There is a trolley stop very close by if you want to explore other locations outside of walking distance, although some of us preferred to walk the mile down the beach to Bridge St. for dinner or coffee. Our rental experience went very smoothly and we had one small issue that was taken care of immediately. We were very happy with everyone we spoke to while arranging the rental and with responses with questions that came up.

I was unable to post my review on the appropriate venue, so I have no choice but to review on here. I rented a house from this company for substantial amount money. The stay was ultimately sub par, many issues with the house that were not addressed and some that were addressed so late it was useless. This company fraudulently reported the need to charge me additional fees. Maybe because they were expecting a bad review. I’m beyond shocked their reviews are so high. These people are unethical crooks.

House of Palms in Bradenton was beautiful! It was a perfect place to stay during our spring break vacation. The house is lovely & had all of the amenities we were looking for. Location is great for getting to local places like Anna Marie, Bradenton beach, etc. Highly recommend this house & will book again when we’re in the area.

We stayed at this home for 45 days and loved it! We did pay to have the pool heated and it was wonderful. We enjoy cooking at home and the house was stocked well for our needs. We needed a few more towels and they immediately brought them. We are hoping to stay again.
