During my recent trip to my Florida property, I experienced an incident in which personal property that was inadvertently left at the pool was taken. Alex Oelnaga our onsite property manager for the complex provided outstanding services to ensure the missing property was returned. Alex also assisted with the installation of new technology that is use to enter secure areas of our complex to include the pool and clubhouse/office space.

First, they don't deserve a star. Here's the thing. I called their office on US Hwy 19 in Clearwater to see if they were in the office at 8:30AM 12/30/25; lady on the phone checked and said office is listed as being open at 8:30AM but no one answered the phone so apparently they were closed. I took the elevator up and about 8:50AM someone showed up for work; she let me in and I paid my HOA fee. But, there was someone in the office already but she didn't answer the phone from Sentry worker who called for me; the office does not have an outside bell nor does it list its office hours at the f…

The worst management company in the SRQ area. They didn’t return homeowner phone calls, couldn’t reconcile accounts within a week, didn’t return emails to the board of directors, misappropriated funds in our accounts and did a very sloppy unprofessional job of transferring information to our new company. Run away from these folks, they are atop heavy corporation

Unfortunately Sentry is currently managing our community HOA. My husband and I have both been attempting to contact a representative for over a month. They email stating someone will contact you within 48 business hours to assist with your ticket which is completely false. We were told on Friday 10/10 after 6 total emails since the beginning of September that no one bothered responding to that someone would call us the same day. Of course no one bothered to do so. I want to give a big thank you to Laura Augustus from Sentry Management. She went above and beyond helping me with a situation regarding my palm trees being trimmed. Laura was very knowledgeable, respectful, and took the time to explain everything clearly. She handled the process quickly and professionally, making sure my concerns were addressed. It’s refreshing to work with someone who is not only responsive but also genuinely cares about the homeowners she works with. She’s a great asset to Sentry Management!

Our HOA recently hired Sentry to be our management company. So far I have been disappointed due to the lack of communication on the part of our assigned CAM. I have sent several emails and not received a single response. Sentry Management Co. was very responsive of my needs to repair a sprinkler head at my Villa in Lake Tiffany, Dunedin FL. There was a crew present within hours identifying the issue. The jury is still out on the new landscaping company assigned to our property. We hope it improves. Marty P.

Sentry Management is the best management company my association has ever had. The president for the division, Afroditi Rodriguez was so helpful and she had no problem answering my millions of questions lol.

Sentry has been responsive to our needs in our community. They follow up when requested, for example, when arranging payments to vendors to save us money for repairs required after hurricane Milton they made sure funds where available and dispersed.

Recently I had a request to submit a copy of my homeowners association master insurance policy to my account holder. Since I do not have a copy, I send a request to Jessica Wren to send it to me. She did so almost immediately but I was having trouble forwarding it to the requesting party. Jessica stepped up and forwarded the information to them. She provided professional, prompt and excellent service.

***1 Year UPDATE **** I became the HOA Treasurer 2 months after my original review. I'll keep it brief. Worse management I have ever worked with. They cannot pay routine bills on time costing us $100s in fee. Their maintained repairs extremely inflated and very subpar. Terrible communication. There CAM refused to provide financial documents after many requests. Read your contract closely b/c they will nickel and dime you. Homeowners could not get in touch with Sentry. Generally prompt response. Unfortunately, some issues, such as the irrigation system, have been ongoing for a long time, and should have been resolved already.

It all depends on the community manager you are assigned. We’ve had some not so good ones, but our current one is absolutely outstanding. If you can request Karen Guider, you will be in amazing hands. She is prompt and organized and everything you want in a manager.

Our condo association has been working with Sentry for a couple of years now and we are very please with them. Our cam and her assistant are awesome. Interactions, calls, questions, issue and concerns are all responded to usually the same day with helpful suggestions and responses. We could not ask for a better team to work with.

Our Association just changed over to this Management because the previous Management was horrible . We are renting out our Townhouse and it has been a small leak from the roof for over a month. The previous Management would say that they would look into it but they just kept ignoring me.Then it all got transferred to this Management and Chad was on it right away even though they just took it over a couple of days ago .He had a Roofing inspector out within days! Chad,thanks again for being kind and helpful.

Having our pool and screen enclosure redone and had been waiting on an approval letter to move forward. I contacted Jean Tagliaferro and she was so helpful with following up about the process and the status of our approval. With her help we were able to get our issue quickly resolved and received our approval. I can’t say enough how much we appreciate her help in this matter.

We had some property damage, a water leak, following Hurricane Debbie. We contacted our property management company, Sentry Management, they responded quickly notifying the roofing contractor. The roofing contractor responded almost immediately, located the source of the leak and made the repair. I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Sentry Management. Sentry Management, Inc. has been managing Itopia Private Residences for almost a year. However, Sentry Management seems to be on its way to becoming one of the better management companies that had been dealing with some very difficult challenges and issues of the Itopia community since my wife Sandra and I have owned our unit since 2012 and have resided here in the Itopia community since 2014.

When considering a new neighborhood it is important to do your research regarding management companies and HOA Boards. We recently left a Sentry managed neighborhood. During our time at the former property the cost was high and the communication suffered ( management company and board) we left a condo neighborhood that cost in excess of $ 700 a month for a community that had little to offer (only a pool). A change in the HOA leadership resulted in a nearly 40% increase in monthly dues without any new amenities. Over 50% of the monthly dues went to reserves for future expenses. HOA Boards have …

As a homeowner in a community Sentry manages, I've been able to observe how they have come in and worked hard to help our community get back on track financially and from a project perspective. So far, they seem like they have been great to work with and they have provided all the information we need to feel confident we know what's going on at all times.

This was our first time submitting a IRF request. We were told by Afrodite Rodriquez, the next available review date would be in January, but she would try and expedite our request before the holiday break. Within 24 hours we had our approved IRF application back from the board. A big thank you to the entire team at Sentry Management for expediting our request. Afrodite's quick response time via email was outstanding and very professional. Thanks again.

We have really benefited from doing business with Sentry Management. Our manager with the company, Jennifer, is quick to answer or find answers to our issues.

They do not abide by their contractual commitments. They are never available to provide contractually required services. The CAM is not on site when required by the contract. Bills if the association are not paid on time. Insurance policies are not renewed in time. Budget documents are late, incomplete and erroneous. There is not one good thing I can say about this Company.

As a condo association board member I watched this company decline to the point of incompetence. They can't keep decent managers on staff. They didn't file taxes for our building for 2 years. The property managers are not aware of laws and regulations. They upcharge for basic things like getting more than 1 bid for projects and automatically pick the most expensive vendors. They don't seem to do thorough property walks, if at all. Our community is full of violations that have never addressed. Overpriced and under preforming seems to be their current business model. Avoid them.

Very pleased with the prompt repair of our courtyard door lock. A small request like this would have taken months to have done by our prior management company. Many thanks to our Board for selecting a quality management company.

Property managers answer calls, A call center answers and youwait on hold for 20 mins for the customer care team to hang up on you. The same everytime I try to call. They refuse to direct your call anywhere but the customer care team.

Wow! I have been renting a property owned by Sentry and ended up having some questions about the rules and the property. I reached out to the manager and the response I got from her and her assistant was incredible! They handled my questions very quickly and professionally and went above and beyond when serving me. Definitely a 10/10 experience so far!

Useless company. I have multiple work orders and didn’t even work on them. I got blocked by another car on my driveway. The manager supposedly was giving me a call to help. 😡😡😡😡 useless company

I had a minor issue with one of the service providers in our neighborhood which is managed by Sentry Management . I contacted our Sentry Manager ( Brittany Polston) telling her it was no big deal but she went into action right away and solved the issue. Brittany and her Team do a great job for our residents

Sentry manages the community I live in and has been a real disappointment to me and my family. There are several items that need to be repaired at the exterior of our town home and I have formally requested service 4-5 times over the last YEAR!! They have never completed any of the items resulting in damage to our property. Their follow up is poor and they appear to have a complete disregard for their customers. If you are considering a management company to assist your HOA association, I would be very careful before contracting with these people. They will make you look bad.

Our condo community has seen such a positive transformation thanks to Kim, our community manager. Everything has improved—from the overall upkeep to communication with residents. It’s clear Kim genuinely cares about the property and the people who live here. She’s responsive, professional, and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure things run smoothly. You can truly see the difference her leadership has made. We’re lucky to have such a dedicated manager taking care of our community!

I, too, am a resident of the Summerwood subdivision. I’ve sent multiple emails to Jennifer Buckmaster regarding the progress of improvements since the hurricane, she has not responded to any. I’ve asked most of our neighbors who own their homes what they think, and they too are frustrated with this company. Seeing some kind of progress and a response to emails and messages would be nice.

I've been with Sentry Management for just under a year since purchasing a condo within their umbrella in Tarpon Springs. They have been fantastic so far. The gentleman named Alex who is the office manager I believe is extremely helpful with anything I've needed, very responsive, always send pertinent updates and overall a super nice person. The grounds are spotless as well as all the amenities. Overall, a great management company.

Didi was truly phenomenal, providing outstanding support and expertly guiding me through every step of the process. When I faced a roof issue, she showed remarkable compassion and professionalism, fully dedicating herself to resolving my matter and keeping me thoroughly informed of every crucial detail. Sentry Mgmt. continues to try to defraud their (mostly senior) tenants by incorrect "late fees", topped with equally-illegal "interest charges." Their latest attempt came after HOA payments were delayed in the mail by Hurricane Milton. Their practices violate Florida statues designed to protect seniors and other citizens from targeted consumer fraud, so please report any and all suspicious activity from them to the Attorney General's office in Tallahassee.

I am extremely disappointed I called in reference to the twigs that are all over the courtyard I was told someone would call me back needless to say the twigs are still there and I didn't receive a call . I got an email telling me how to prepare for the storm. We are about to get the largest hurricane this area has ever seen and we have a large tree on the street and twigs everywhere.

Received same day service from Aforditi. She addressed my issue and solved it the same day. Great experience from a great HOA.

We have dealt with Alex since we have moved into our condo. He has been very responsive to all questions we had and held a thorough orientation meeting with us prior to our closing to ensure that we were informed. We appreciate his efforts to help us. This is the worst management company I've ever had to deal with! They don't return phone calls or emails. The HOA here is a nightmare! Retired people who with nothing better to do than spy on other residents, complain about the smallest of things, quite petty! There hasn't been any real security, the gate has been broken for months! There isnt enough parking for full time residents. I will not be renewing my lease and I would never recommend buying property at the Club at Feather Sound!! Update- I'm speaking about my experience with Sentry. I've called and emailed your company with no reply!

Our community has Sentry- they are absolutely horrible. Our manager Cari K. is by far the worst we’ve had over the years. She takes days sometimes weeks to respond to emails and VM. When she does she NEVER follows through. Our community would HIGHLY recommend hiring a different company.

Spent several hours over two days trying to set up direct debit to my account for HOA fees. Total frustration until I gave up and went to Sentry office. Laura Augustus-Thomas is an absolute jewel. In less than five minutes she had me set up and ready to go. Unless I actually went to the Sentry office I would never have been able to complete my account set up as I did not have an account number required that only Sentry has.
