If I could give Sunstate Association Management Group 0 stars, I would. My experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. For over a year, I repeatedly requested information on how to pay my HOA dues. Neither I nor my realtor received clear instructions, payment coupons, or any meaningful assistance despite multiple phone calls and follow-ups. Instead of helping a homeowner who was actively trying to pay, Sunstate sent late fee notices, collection letters, and threats of legal action. Sunstate has been excellent at helping our condo HOA recover from the problems caused by the prior management company. Nicole Banks is our company representative, and she is always responsive, knowledgeable and informative. We are grateful for her experience, diligence and guidance. Not to mention her patience with a new board that really depends upon her.

Hiring Sunstate and Nicole’s team is absolutely the best decision my HOA made 6 months ago when deciding to leave our old management company. As a Broker/Owner of a real estate company who's dealt with numerous management companies though the years, a homeowner who lives in an association managed by Sunstate, and an HOA BOD member who is supported by Suntstate, I can personally share that Nicole and her team are the most knowledgeable, supportive and professional I've had the pleasure to work with!! Terrible customer service, trying to reach or receive a response from the property manager is like trying to get an audience with the Pope. Property Management will not make the required visits/inspections unless you stay on top of them. Your residents will find themselves managing the property more than the property manager. Also always be careful that your Board of Directors do not become so friendly with the property manager that Board members put the property manager and the company ahead of the owners.

Just when you thought a management company couldn’t get any worse, along comes Sunstate. If we homeowners could sue them for all the money we paid them for doing absolutely nothing we should. Would never recommend them to anyone.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Sean is the most unprofessional and rude manager I have ever dealt with. He doesn't respond or return phone calls. He states he sends important letters that are never rec'd by the owners only for the owner to be fined due to nonresponse. I have been involved with numerous HOAs and management companies and this is by far the worst I have ever been involved with.

This is the worst management company not only in Sarasota FL but in my life experience. I needed flood insurance policy cover page for my mortgage company. I left at least 20 messages within 2 weeks period. Today is the last day that my mortgage company requires it. I can not anyone return my phone call or e-mail. If the bank will charge me for flood insurance I will ask an attorney to recover this from this unprofessional company!!!!
