Currently living here. I never leave reviews but this place is almost UNLIVABLE. The only quiet’s nights you get are Monday to Wednesday because Thursday to Sunday from 12pm-11pm there’s loud live music at Rathskeller. Yes loud concerts last 4 days out of 7 in a residential area. Believe me, not a small karaoke sound you can easily dismiss, think of it as festival loud music. Music so loud I can’t hear my TV and my walls shaking. It starts in March until weather gets cold. People are very racially toward African American… had person called police and today I tried ask a person a question he look me in my face and said I don’t talk to your type … so breaking lease next month and moving I have kids who don’t need be round this type of energy.., then someone kick my family out a lounge in the cold for a tree 2 times and said they was decorating the whole room

For a studio apartment, it is 1287 dollars a month. Insane. So you must be thinking, “Well, it must have GREAT amenities.” You’d be wrong. This place has ZERO amenities worth that price tag. The gym membership for the YMCA was cancelled unannounced after the gym closed, still paying the exact same amount. And do not let the google business page fool you, there is definitely NOT a pool or a fitness center in this complex. The crime that takes place in the parking garage is ridiculous. My car has been broken into, and others have shared that issue. Most recently, there has been a car THEFT. The…

The handyman, Charles, was an amazing worker. Fixed what was broken and went above and beyond past what the work order was for.

I have been living at Block20 for almost a year and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Unlike the last place I lived at (see my review on that cesspool) Block20/JC Hart has been great to me, when things need to be fixed they get it done very quickly, the complex is safe secured and quiet. JC Hart is a real true management company they don't play around with any concerns whenever one arises a certain "management" company that I used to rent from needs to take notes from JC Hart on how to properly run a building.

We stayed here through Expedia/CozySuites for a short weekend stay. The property is nice, close to plenty of night life. The room was quiet, and comfortable. There's lots going on within a few minutes of walking, clubs, bars, restaurants, beer garden directly across the alley. The room was clean, and offered laundry, and a decent size layout with a nice queen bed, and pull out couch. Unfortunately the room said it would accommodate up to 4 people, however there weren't extra sheets for the pull out that we found, and the bathroom only included 1 set of towels. I have absolutely LOVED living at Block 20!! I am so sad to be moving out and would have stayed if there was a 3 bedroom option here. I lived in a 2 bed unit on the opposite side of the Rathskeller beirgarten (facing East Street) and I could never hear the live music coming from there unless I had the windows open! Such a wonderful experience with this apartment being in such a great location! So close to mass ave. My roommate and I watched it being built the past couple years and moved in as soon as we could! I have absolutely loved living in this complex. Management is incredibly responsive and helpful. The complex is fairly quiet, the parking is incredibly convenient and you are able to drive up and park on your floor, and I have absolutely loved my YMCA membership. If I didn't have to move out of state, I would have renewed my lease with this complex. One of the best living experiences I've had. The location is amazing, with easy access to downtown as well as the highway. I would recommend Block 20 to anyone looking to rent downtown and I will miss my apartment so much. I moved into Block 20 about 3 months ago and it's been great so far! The location is perfect, right by Mass Ave, making everything in Indy easily accessible. The rent is affordable for the area, and the apartment itself is comfortable and has everything I could ever need. Management is always helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend to any young professionals looking for an apartment in Indy.

Great rooftop lounge! Staff is friendly and always ready to help. Attached garage/location is amazing as well!
