We had a residential property mgr oversee our new Indianapolis metro subdivision for five years. The first five years are the easiest and once problems starterd occurring they showed how incompetent they were at handling anything remotely complicated. This is a primarily a commercial property mgmt company and you shouldn’t consider hiring them for residential. At the point we didn’t renew our contract with main st mgmt nobody followed up to ask why. The reviews don’t lie and they should be avoided.

Cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Main Street Management, LLC, their owner, Randy Truitt, and management company representative, William Aelick!! Our HOA neighborhood suffered quite a bit of damage to several homes in our community on Friday, May 16, 2025, when the winds kicked up to about 70 mph. While I assumed that our representative, William, would respond to my emails about such damage on Monday of the following week, he actually contacted me within about five minutes of the first (of many) emails! I was SO impressed with the service that William and MSM gave us - IMPRESSIVE!! …

MSM has been doing the maintenance on our property near Purdue on University Ave. They have been great to work with and recently went above and beyond to repair a failed water pipe behind a concrete block wall. This was noticed by MSM during the recent winter break. If it had not been found and repaired the result would have been disastrous. Great company with a great team.

We have worked with MSM for almost two years and have been thrilled with their work. They are timely, detailed, do great work, and have helped dramatically improve our facility and we look forward to working with them.

Our HOA has been a client of Main Street Management, LLC for many years and we have had an excellent experience with them. They have been an important part to successfully managing our HOA and providing services to our unit owners.

I've been a homeowner for almost 16 years. We've worked with Main Street Management as our Managing Company & have been satisfied with the partnership. William, Joey, and Mary have always been available to assist our Subdivision with any situation and provide great guidance.

I have worked with Main Street Management (“MSM”) for my commercial properties (over 100,000 SF of retail and professional office space under contract) for over 10 years. Randy and his team are the most professional and organized outfit I have ever worked with. MSM has been on top of every issue. Because MSM has so much SF under management you will get discounts from service providers as MSM will negotiate deals on behalf of all the Owners (example - our trash service was reduce by 60% due to MSM contract negotiations). 100% recommend for commercial property owners.

The MSM team has been prompt and professional in addressing anything that comes up at our properties.

I have never dealt with people as awful as the ones I have had to deal with that work for this company. My husband is a veteran of 18+ years, and he's been in and out of the hospital. Times were tight, and with holidays and HOA dues being owed right at the beginning of the year...we asked them to give us a payment plan, so it made things easier. They agreed. This place sucks and they want all this money to not do a damn thing to our neighborhood while I’m over here paying for my mailbox to keep being rebuilt, they will not put in speed bumps. I have her emails and emails to these people and also because times have fallen hard to be put on a plan to pay for the home owner association that they don’t do anything but put bushes in front of the exiting drive of the neighborhoods. The worst. Main Street Management manages our townhome community in downtown Indy. All they do is send out a guy with a loud leaf blower monthly, lightly shovel snow and dump an unnecessary amount of salt on our stoops in winter -- and send threatening letters should you miss a single HOA payment. They recently increased their HOA payment fees now charging: $3 to pay by bank account, $6 with debit card, or 3.5% of your balance to pay by credit card Our community has had 4 different property managers in only a few years. So, Main Street Mgmt must be an awful place to work at too.

Main Street has a lot of challenges. I understand now that employee turnover contributed to a lot of more negative past experiences. The current team and the board will engage with you openly and honestly. I attended the recent HOA meeting. I was the only resident who attended. Working together we can improve the conditions in our Subdivision. We need resident involvement.
