Angie is so AMAZING. She patiently answered all my queries and moved in on time.

Toyi helped me with my move in, she was very informative and kept me updated the entire time. I was doing the process out of state and was hesitant but when I came down here I was greeted and saw my apartment I was IN LOVE. Property is well kept and the maintenance and leasing office staff are the sweetest. So happy to be staying here!

Good and peaceful to live and the maintenance team are always fast and very professional on their jobs.

My experience at Hurwich exceeded my expectations! Leasing was seamless and easy thanks to Tori and the rest of the leasing staff, maintenance is friendly and was always quick to address any problems in our apartment. The property here is quiet and in a convenient location. Our favorite part was the keyless entry system 🙌🏽 We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for apartments in the area.

I was having issues with my shower. Andrew was here everyday making sure it was done correctly. I couldn't be more pleased. I couldn't ask for a better place to live.

Fixed my issue with my sink in less than 24 hours! So happy! They would have been there sooner but it was past business hours when I noticed the issue and the guy offered to come in after hours and fix it but i felt bad so I just had him come the next day!

Nice roomy apartments.

A very quiet and great place to reside. Also - the maintenance crew and front office are prompt, professional and good folks. Highly recommend this place. Only downside is there’s no grills to grill on and closets/storage at least in a 1-bedroom could potentially be rather minimal depending on an individual’s needs for it.

Every 6 months, this amazing company will come in check on smoke detectors, plumbing, and more. They are very professional, and any questions we have, were answered.

The leasing staff Tori and Alicia and complex manager Courtney have been phenomenal with responding and reaching out during my move from Fort Wayne to South Bend. All of them have been friendly, understanding and respectful since the first time I’ve contacted Hurwich, all the way through the process of moving in. This is my first time having my own place without roommates, and as anxious and stressful that is, I feel very welcomed and supported. We moved in on June 2. I am liking the apartment and neighbors. It's very quiet well kept up the grounds are clean and neat. It's a beautiful place to me.

My door would not lock. The battery was dead despite it not giving any previous warning. I was late for work but the maintenance man came over within 15 minutes or so and locked up my apartment while I left for work.

Two months into my lease so far, and from the tour, to applying and securing my unit, Hurwich Farms has been an excellent place to live. My tour was very thorough and friendly with no pressure or commitment. During my application, all phone calls were answered promptly and so were the questions I asked in them. Maintenance has been fantastic at fixing issues like my patio door's new wheels. Whatever it was, those guys made sure it was fixed. We love Eric so much! The best maintenance man. We’ve lived here for 4 years and have met the bunch but Eric always goes above and beyond for us. He’ll come in for one thing but will leave after doing a few things - some things we don’t even notice ourselves. I've stayed at Hurwich farms for almost 15 years; I moved out a few days ago. The area has declined over the years you should expect your car to be broken into and there are beggars often right outside the enterence. The Walmart across the street closed down. The office staff often will give you false information, will generally be unhelpful and lack follow through. The management: They're rude and stubborn. They will find any excuse to steal your deposit and add fees. Rent has been creeping up over the last few years. If you do rent make sure you document every defect no matter how trivial. T…

I was having issues with not having the internet. I contacted the office and the staff there was more than helpful in solving my internet plus connecting me up with their internet provider. I was really happy to hear that I should be all hooked up by the next day.

I lived here for maybe 5 months out of my 12 month lease. My ex boyfriend kicked me out and he moved his ex into the apartment and the complex knew because she tried putting herself on the lease. Then I proceed to ask them if I could get my name taken off seeing as I no longer lived there. The completely beat around the bush and still have not taken my name off the lease and I am currently not living there. Refuse to give me a chance to have a lease of my own there. Steve on your maintenance team worked very hard for 3 days to restore my AC. I’m on the third floor so it wasn’t fun for either of us. I was without AC for 5 days but he got it done as fast as he could.

i just want to shout of the maintenance team. i had a pipe burst at 10pm, and had Andrew at my apartment in less than 5 minutes. he cleaned up what he could, left a fan and dehumidifier, and said he made calls to have someone out here today to fix the pipes and have a carpet cleaner here. by 11am, another maintenance member was here reconfiguring the pipe set up, and a local carpet cleaner was here cleaning up the rest of the water and making sure the carpet wouldn’t mildew. every time i’ve had to put work orders in, they’ve been completed within 24 hours, and everyone is super friendly.

This place is very nice but not perfect. First the good. The apartments in and of themselves are really nice. Mine is an updated apartment but some still have an older style kitchen, etc. 2nd good thing is maintenance lives on site and they respond to problems pretty fast. As far as the cost, it is in the middle of the price range for what is in the area. There are both cheaper options and more pricey options to choose from. Now the opportunities for improvement: The large pond is poorly at best kept. I mean most days there is at least a plastic bag or two floating in the pond. Also it is o…

We had a great experience with Hurwich Farms, they’re genuinely some of the nicest apartments around. We loved our office ladies and our maintenance guys, and the few problems we did have weren’t the fault of the complex itself. I would stay for much longer if we were able, but due to some financial hardships unfortunately it just isn’t in the cards for us. But maybe we’ll return!

The apts are overpriced old kitchen cabinets each year they go up but never any new updates it would also be nice if the residents could park in front of where they live , coming to a place where you pay rent but no parking spots all visiter should be made to park in other parking spots.

Maintenance Guy Eric is Awesome!

Really like my maintenance men, but I am terrible with names so I can't tell you, their name. but my building is 3813 Apt 2B.

I wish rent was cheaper but other than that I love it here.

Eric, Steve and Andrew are WONDERFUL! They are very courteous and really know what they're doing; Whether fixing the toilet or addressing an issue in the kitchen. Usually they are in my home just a very few minutes after I call for help...AND, they are very thoughtful and kind.

This is a great environment to live. The staff in the office are extremely helpful and friendly. They made the move in process super easy. We are very happy with our experience.
