We used Juniper Holiday + Home to manage our property. We were encouraged by their initial presentation and expectations of managing our home but were surprised at the unexpected costs and lack of communication between homeowner-management after joining. At one point, they replaced all our outdoor furniture and trashed all our existing furniture without our approval. They fail to keep the homeowner in-mind and treat the home like it's their own. Some girlfriends and I celebrated a 50th birthday at Sunset Manor, an absolutely amazing lakefront home in Grand Beach, MI. The house was beautifully appointed, with a fantastic pool, hot tub, and breathtaking views. But more important than the house was the service and the "little extras" provided by Juniper Holiday + Home. From start to finish, they communicated everything we needed, making the trip easy and enjoyable. TVs, bedding, pillows, bad. No internet. Faulty locking mechanism on 202 door. We finally left it unlocked when we went out, as Juniper offered no local assistance getting us back in, merely an unsatisfactory text. Stairs to 202 second floor apt...filthy. Written by one of our clients/ guests: The Robin's nest is a beautiful getaway cottage nestled in a quiet woodland residential area near Lake Michigan. It's a 5 bedroom, 2 bath cottage with ample living space on garden level and first floor. It has skylights, cathedral ceiling, sliding glass door framing a canopied backyard of oak trees with a hot tub and additional outdoor shower. Although it's a cottage, its standards are that of a high end hotel with excellent beds, bedding, decor and amenities. We rented three homes for an August 2024 World Peace Assembly and meditation retreat for 19 people. We used every corner and greatly enjoyed the beauty and gorgeous setting of Dunegrass Path, Black Door Bungalow and Robin's Nest. These three homes are beautiful, luxurious, and comfortable. In future, we hope to rent cottages closer to each other, because Robin's Nest and Black Door are 20 minutes from Stevensville.
