I rented from them a handful of times from 2011-2020, and never had an issue. first I wana say that I loved Jan lol. She's been there for decades, and dealt with a lot of horrible tenants. nothing wrong with trying to weed them out. asking if you've been arrested shouldn't be offensive, when it's very common for a landlord to ask or to have on their application. she asks that because it is on the physical application that she fills out as she asks you the questions. having been arrested before doesn't mean they won't rent to you tho lol. thing is, Jan just isn't fake. you pay your rent on time…
