This company manages the oakwood ave complex in West Hartford. The place was incredibly mismanaged. There were regular pest, rodent, security, waste, and cleanliness issues. Calls to management (when they picked up) led to no progress or support. Homeowners were regularly disregarded. Absolutely do not recommend on any accounts.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend buying or renting at Beaman Brook. The condition of the roads and parking lots is unacceptable. There are potholes, widespread cracking, uneven pavement, loose asphalt, and standing water after rain. Some areas are so deteriorated that residents have to constantly dodge craters just to get in and out of their parking spaces. This isn’t just a vehicle issue. The condition of the pavement makes it difficult for children to safely ride bikes, scooters, or play in the parking areas. Even taking a walk through parts of the community can be hazardous b…

Absolutely terrible experience with White & Katzman Property Management. Communication was beyond frustrating, emails and calls constantly went unanswered unless it involved collecting rent or fees or calling fire marshall and people above the.. Maintenance requests either took forever to get addressed or were ignored completely, and when someone finally responded, it felt like tenants were treated as an inconvenience instead of paying residents. If I could give zero. I agree with every other comment. They do not care at all about these properties or tentants. These houses are never cleaned/maintained.

This company is new to our complex and cannot be worse. The snow crew plows snow in front of our garages and just left it. No one can get out. My husband had to go out and shovel our parking spaces, walkways and our garage out and our elderly neighbors. Our fire hydrants are covered. I get this was a lot of snow, but it’s New England and not unusual. Also, this happens when we get 4 inches. We are paying for a service and having to do the work ourselves. Can’t get worse than this company. They’re rude and blame tenants for things that are clearly their fault. Everyone needs to file complaints with their town health and building departments. Go to the state level if needed. Go to the local new stations if needed.

LAZY and curropt is the only way I can describe this company. $360 HOA fees and the grounds are completely unkempt. Garbage all around the dumpsters. Laundry rooms are NEVER cleaned. Money goes straight to Micheal Katzman's pocket. If you reach out to them about the things they are neglecting, especially Dianna Peele, you are completely ignored. They should be investigated and sued.

This company is extremely unprofessional and the employees accuse you of lying about issues that you are having so they don't have to do their jobs. I have also been screamed at by an employee. They will not help you and will be extremely condescending, unprofessional and rude. There are many property management companies that lack but this company takes it to a different level. You will pay monthly fees but they will not care if you are comfortable in your own home or not. Dishonest, lazy and heartless company.
