We lived here for five years. We loved it. I highly recommend this spot. Great amenities, staff, doormen and building owners. Close to the L, J, Z, M and Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.

Don’t bother renting with this company. Their phones are unresponsive when it comes to maintenance. Our buildings elevator has been out for nearly a week and nobody will even answer their phones or respond to emails about it

They refuse to return tenant security deposits within the legal timeframe as required by NY state. I had to exchange over 30 emails and calls with them, get a lawyer involved, and report them to the NY attorney general to finally get it back. They claimed on 3 separate occasions to have “just mailed the check yesterday”, which shows they were lying each time the claim was made. When I finally got someone on the phone, she screamed at me and said “You’re the only one who hasn’t received it and you shouldn’t be upset.” (This was also a lie) When I spoke to another person, he admitted that over…

Be careful while renting any apartment that is managed by this company. They are not responsive at all. I have been reaching out to them for returning the deposit for close to a month now and it doesn’t matter how many times you call them or email them, they give no response at all!! Their customer service just keeps saying the same thing over and over that the accounting department will get back to you but that too never happens. It looks like you can’t get anything back from them unless you threaten legal action.

Be very careful renting with them if you have a Cityfheps voucher. The landlord (Bedford Enterprises or Charles S.) will miss cashing payments from the city, let the checks expire from stale dating. Then bring "non payment petition" lawsuits against you for their error. I tried to contact them multiple times at the beginning to explain. Completely unresponsive, until they realized I would not lay down. Now, the court has dropped the case, because their lawyer is incompetent.

58 Palmetto in Bk.- New Building built in 2020- Roaches, leaks, broken doors, cheaply constructed, broken washing machines, you name it, it sucks!!! Landlord who would rather lie about fixing an issue than actually fix it. Any violation is falsely certified. Doesn’t matter bc they want everyone to move out after a year. The worst.

I enjoy living in Bedford Enterprises property. They are always very responsible and easy to communicate with.

I live in 228 Berry. On 7/30 mold was discovered in the unit, and it was reported to management on 7/31. It is 8/26 today, there was water dripping from the ceiling over the past weekend, there are holes in the ceiling panels covered by makeshift grilles, and there is no long term fix. Management has been unresponsive to emails recently. When I called them on 8/22, they said they were following up with the [HVAC] contractors. It's 8/26 today, still with no updates.
