Property management is a tough game -- no one seems to notice everything going right and the focus is always on what's gone wrong. I work with Amir & the Choice team closely; they're real pros who keep most everything going right. Then they jump in and fix whatever goes wrong. Wow. Jack Ben-Harari has been our building manager for nearly 3 years; he is extremely responsive, flexible, and very pleasant to work with. He manages or assists with a wide-variety of building-related issues, which as a small building, is extremely helpful.

Dan Miller is responsive both with communications and actions on matters small and large. Reaching out to him as a unit owner or as a condo board member he is always polite and lets you know that he shares your concern.

Dan Miller is the property manager for a condo in which I am an owner. He’s been instrumental in terms of getting our building up & running/to a stable position immediately after development, from managing contractors (daily) to keeping our financial position in a great place in the context of inflation. He is highly attentive/responsive, and also patient with both our building staff and tenants. Happy to have him on our side.

Before acquiring Goldin Management, Choice NY managed another building where I served, and their performance was terrible. However, since their merger with Goldin, Choice NY has significantly improved their quality of service and property management abilities. Dan, who came from Goldin, has been managing our building for over 12 years. We greatly appreciate the experience and years of service that both he and Thomas brought to our building.

Made $70k in mistakes managing our HOA and wouldn’t pay for error. Stay far away.

I have had the opportunity to work with Ibrahim Dema in 2 different buildings in NYC (Vitre and Huxley). Ibrahim has been helpful, responsive and accommodating when I was a resident and a landlord. He followed up when he said he would and put me in touch with contacts when he didn’t have the information.

Within the 8 years of experience I've had in reaching out to this mgmt for any coop or condo docs needed for building approval (surprised they don't get tired of me lol) - Choice NY has always been a hassle-free service that has continued to excel throughout its history. When renting our condo home to an applicant, we had a good experience with Choice Property Management. The team was professional, responsive, and always willing to help. Requests were handled promptly and overall it went pretty smooth with some oversight from us and our broker.

As board president, we have thoroughly appreciated our property manager’s attention to our building. No issue is too big or small. he is responsive and attentive. If Bimi were to leave, our business would as well. We are highly disappointed with our bookkeeper and the company’s inability to change her and replace with someone who can get the job done right. I've lived at The Jackson for several years and have had a great experience. The building is consistently well maintained, the common areas are kept clean, communication is clear, and maintenance requests are handled quickly. Choice New York has been the best management company I’ve worked with in NYC! Indira, Adam and Cryzel have each incredibly helpful at different points, even going as far as waiving a late fee when I was confused on the rent payment due date. After years of dealing with unresponsive/disorganized management, having a team that actually communicates and cares has been a huge relief! Highly recommend!

I have enjoyed my experience here at the Rockwell. It is well built, in a terrific neighborhood. However the experience has been embellished with the responsive and attentive team managing and addressing building needs. Proactive preventative maintenance, careful attention to unanticipated needs, and excellent communication are benchmarks for Amir and his staff. Choice NY Management is MY choice.

Amir, our property manager and the rest of the team at Choice (Drew and Liridon) are outstanding. We receive communications and updates on matters big and small. They always respond to my emails within a few hours. It has been a while, but when we first moved in, they were very easy to work with and very agile with last minute changes. They make it very easy to work with them. They also ensure that our building is staffed with top notch personnel. We think they are doing a wonderful job and would recommend if you are looking for a property manager.

This team has been completely unresponsive to serious issues in our apartment. We’ve been without hot water for over a week, there’s a continuous ceiling leak causing water damage, plaster is hanging dangerously, the kitchen floors are separating, and the downstairs consistently floods with a strong mold/mildew smell. There’s also no temperature control in the lower level, making it unlivable in colder months. I’d give 0 stars if I could. There are not enough words to describe my hate for this company. In most cases I am pro-choice, but in this case I am not. They have made my life a living hell ever since they took over as the manager of my building. I have had thousands of dollars worth of packages stolen since I lived in this building. We have a camera in the lobby (not sure it even works), but Choice refused to look through the footage or help regarding what has been stolen. I have to just be home on days packages are delivered. Our building recently switched to Choice Management and we couldn’t be happier. From day once Adam from Choice has been responsive, helpful, and attentive. Every maintenance request has been fixed almost immediately and Adam is always communicative and does everything he can to helpful. Our experience at Choice has been positive and would recommend it as a management company to anyone.

Once our building moved to choice management any issue that has come up has been resolved in 48 hours. They are super responsive over email.

Choice Management is a terrible and negligent company. I have been without heat for 4 months and want to move out of my apartment and they are insisting on enforcing the lease even though by law they have to provide heat in the winter months. They will ghost you, they will never answer the call and they will always say they are meeting with management soon with no follow up response or solution. They are entirely incompetent. We love our apartment space, but unfortunately, Choice New York Management has made the experience far more miserable than we had hoped. Our unit, in addition to the majority of our building's residents, did not have heat for over a month collectively throughout both January and February. Choice management is absolutely 💯 percent with being attentive, concerned, knowledgeable, on time appointments, replacing any items in a timely manner, responding to e mails, calls, office visits and being outstanding with professional and courteous interactions with tenants. I highly recommend this company to manage and recommend anyone to becoming a tenent of such management.

In my 10 years in NYC, this has to be the worst management company for an apartment I have had. This building management company is completely neglectful, unresponsive, and outright disrespectful to tenants. They ignore urgent maintenance requests, take days (if not weeks) to respond—if they bother to respond at all—and show little to no regard for the well-being of the people who live here. This company manages the apartment complex I live in. My impression so far is that they are disorganized. Their communication skills are lacking and their soft skills leave something to be desired. I love my building, but my interactions with the management company have been largely disappointing.

I truly wonder if this company cares about it's tenants.....from what I am seeing and the 3.5 reviews rating overall I don't think they do. It's truly sad that poor communication dominates with this company.

Choice has been an absolute mess and frankly negligent management group since I began renting with them in late 2023. My property manager expresses little to no concern over the functionality of the building and in my personal experience my unit. When I first arrived the CO2 monitors in the unit did not have batteries and one was found to be defective. Then my heater did not work for 3 months, which was a slog to get fixed. We’ve had great experiences with Choice since we moved into one of their buildings a short time ago — Dan has been responsive to all of our concerns, and the building itself is clean with great amenities. A great company to deal with!

Property management seems careless. Going more than 2 weeks without a fridge already. Wish they were as prompt as when they ask you about renewing your lease. Let’s see how long the fridge takes.

I’m a tenant of 100 Cooper St and we had an issue with our payment not going thru. I got in touch with Choice and they transfered me to the accountant responsible for this building Elona Gjekaj. She was able to solve the issue with her leasing departament within a timely manner. I’m very happy how fast this was solved and the profesionalism of this accountant. I’m happy with this property management.

Marlind and his team at the Brooklyn Grove are truly the best of the best. They are always responsive as soon as they can be and we are so appreciative of everything. They are prompt and help with repairs whenever needed. Everyone that works within this building is kind, friendly and truly makes it feel like home. They have built a great team here at Brooklyn Grove and Marlind manages everything so well.

Working with Choice and namely Amir has been an awesome experience. He has been so helpful to respond quickly and give market relevant advice on maintaining the apartment, how to approach keeping it clean and what to do with various items like painting, cabinets etc. He always has a vendor to recommend to help support on work and is so responsive. I wanted to say how terrific Ibrahim Dems has been to work with, particularly in emergencies. He’s courteous, knowledgeable and responsive even after work hours. He got me out a jam on the hottest day of the year when our AC quit. No repair people would come, but in a few minutes Ibrahim found someone who would and the problem was fixed. Horrific. Roach infested buildings. Water damaged apt for months, hot water goes out daily, appliances stop working. Nothing is done about it.

Drew Donovan and his team are so great! My building (in Queens) is very well-maintained and they’re quick to respond! They’re ready and willing to help. I love where I live because this management company really cares.

60 days after the end of my lease, I did not get my deposit back. Stay away.

I was able to move my furniture in to my apartment with the help of Eddie he is an exceptional super; always pleasant & very helpful. Also the front desk team helped as well and was very helpful getting Eddie to help very quickly.
