Trash management. They do nothing to manage Soundview Lanes in College Point. Been an owner and resident here for over 10 years. All they do is take HOA fees and get a towing company to tow resident cars to make more profit. I don’t see much maintenance except for mowing. They said they would fix the security entrance but it always remains open. Due to lack of security, there had been many incidents of burglaries at the residence. They also increase fees for doing nothing. AVOID at all cost.

Soundview apartments is so terribly managed, the parking situation is out of control with no parking for residents. There’s cars parked without permits every night!

My coop hired Citadel in 2019 due to challenges with the former management company. At the time we switched, we were unnecessarily paying penalties on our real estate tax bills and had a super who was not doing a decent job. Citadel was effective from the start. The coop's financial condition has since improved, despite ongoing capital needs, and we have a wonderful super who is invested and cares about the well-being of the building. This company manages Soundview Apartments in College Point, Queens. Not sure if "manages" should be the appropriate wording used to be honest. The parking situation at the complex, is absolutely terrible. They claim they enforce parking rules but that's far from the truth. I've noticed residents from the same apartment park 3-4 cars in the complex without any penalty. This is terrible because it takes away parking from people who do the right thing and park their car with a permit. Soundview Apartments has cars parked overnight every night with no permits leaving residences with permits with no choice but to park in no parking areas. Cars parked half on the side walk and pedestrian walkways making it unsafe to walk with strollers. Ever since I moved here I’ve barely seen parking enforced. There’s a new permit system and there’s still cars with old permits. I’m genuinely confused as to how there is any managing being done by this company.

I give this management 4 stars only because we have a maintenance man jose who cares for the property and for the people.. I have read the other reviews and some I agree completely with and that's the parking.. you have commercial cars parked for days that doesn't belong inside this community they belong elsewhere not even allowed in the street so that's a very big problem here. I see very mixed reviews, so for starters I’ll say, before you make a decision, hear me out, I will be frank and honest in my review. I can genuinely say I had a great experience in my dealings with Citadel. Terrible property management company. I live in the Soundview property in College Point. Our complex is always dirty, trash everywhere, when a storm comes through and knocks down trees it takes them days sometimes weeks to come clean it up. The property perimeter fence has been broken for years with no attempt to fix it. The community gate has been broken for over a year now with no attempt to fix it. While Mark is a nice person, he’s a terrible property manager. Absolutely no communication with us at all, refuses to answer phone calls or emails and is basically an accountant who pays our bills. The only good thing to come from them is our super. And he’s underpaid and overworked. They never repair anything even though they promise to. They’re extremely frustrating to deal with. Idk how they stay in business.
