In my building, there’s been a recently recurring issue of another tenant leaving their trash in the lobby. Communications with the property manager, Ramin Ohebshalom, have been terrible. He is of no help, deflects to the super (who is usually a great but this is a larger issue), and offers no acknowledgement of the issue or any solution.

Avoid this management company and their listings. They represent properties owned by Fred Ohebshalom and other buildings. My experience has been extremely disappointing. I rented an apartment partly because the building had an elevator, yet the elevator has been out of service for nearly 2 months with little communication or urgency from management. It feels like tenant concerns are ignored once the lease is signed. I would strongly recommend doing thorough research before renting from this company. I’m writing a review and hoping to get a response from management. I’ve been contacting them for over two months now, and I have an extremely long email thread with no response. I even stopped by the office, and the lady who takes care of the building I’m currently living in said that her supervisor/management doesn’t come in until after 12 PM. She said she would follow up with them about the issue with my apartment. I haven’t received any response from her or management yet. There’s no sense of urgency; they don’t care about anything that’s going on in their building.

Clearly trying to take advantage of their customers and clientelle. It took us 5 months to get our security deposit back and that was AFTER we consistently called, emailed, AND showed up at their office. Very poor management and always tries to shift blame onto other people.

If any of the dozens of other reviews fail to convince you, let this be your warning. Empire Management is a disgusting predatory company that withholds security deposits months after tenants have moved out (in direct defiance of tenants rights in New York), to say nothing of their maintenance and responsiveness to current tenants' issues. They are impossible to get in touch with except when they are asking for your rent or lease signatures and are mismanaged to the point that a simple conversation takes weeks of emailing. They were able to work with me on lowering the rent for my lease but when I moved out I had to track them down over a month and a half to get my security deposit back! I don't think I would've received it otherwise

Living in a building managed by Empire Management has been one of the most stressful experiences of my life. After seven years as a reliable, rent-paying tenant, I’ve seen countless issues go unresolved, but the recent collapse of my bathroom ceiling was the breaking point. I have been given a late charge for several months now even though I was never late on my rent. I've called a few months ago and asked for you to cancel the late fees, and you have promised to do so but there has been no action taken. Therefore, I called which it just goes straight to voicemail, so I left voicemails which never got a call back. I tried to send emails but yet again never got a respond. It's been several months that I have taken action due to the management's mistakes, but I am just left empty handed. Please respond and fix your mistakes. Thank you.

Warning: Avoid Renting from This Company We are a boutique Medical Spa & Wellness Studio renting a suite at 363 7th Avenue, and our experience with this building and its management has been overwhelmingly negative. Since December 18, 2023 (we are at the end of June 2024 at the moment), the elevators have been broken with no updates or repair dates provided. We are forced to use the freight/garbage elevator, which is old, unreliable, and breaks down every other day.
