if you're a building owner, who is looking for a management company - this company isn't it. Steer clear from them, they are horrible!

How can you know so little about the building you maintain? Angelo who deals with repairs knows nothing about the building got incredibly defensive when I asked him question on leak. No emails have been responded to and I own my apartment. simply an awful group of people and terrible management

Negligent and unresponsive. Avoid renting with them!

Truly the most negligent awful company I have ever had rental experience with - they only care about money, are greedy beyond belief, and don't give a single crap about any tenants. there was a literal FIRE in the building basement and they only emailed the tenants 24hr after I had to email them twice to say something. Turns out it was a lithium battery explosion from a unit they were illegally renting out if that tells you anything. They have yet to implement any fire prevention since or offer any relief to affected tenants. Absolutely surprised they have their business license

Absolutely unacceptable. For anyone in **Flushing, NY**, be warned: dealing with **Jessie** in maintenance and repairs at **First Management Corp** was a miserable experience. She was rude, dismissive, and openly disrespectful from the start. Reporting a maintenance issue felt like being scolded for daring to ask for help. She interrupted repeatedly, spoke condescendingly, and acted as if doing her job was an inconvenience. I had a very frustrating experience with the maintenance team at this property in Flushing, NY. When I reported an issue, the interaction felt dismissive and unhelpful, and communication was rushed and unclear. Instead of resolving a straightforward problem, the process became unnecessarily stressful due to the lack of professionalism and basic customer service. Management should take a closer look at how maintenance requests are handled—tenants deserve respectful, clear, and responsive communication when dealing with issues in their homes. I called them about a problem in my apartment and the within 5 minutes the super was at my door.

Only because zero stars is not an option. Avoid this company! It was the broker and then the management company representing the unnamed landlord for the Manhattan rental I lived in for six years. Roach infestations and structural issues with the building (like stairs about to cave in and toilets continually flooding into downstairs apartments) were ignored and then only very shoddily handled. I actually had to withhold a month of rent in order to get this company to do the littlest bit to address the severe roach infestation in my apartment. Called to complain about the need for cameras in my building because of package thieves and a rude lady told me that cameras won’t stop that happening. What a disgusting way to wash your hands!!! This is neglecting the security of tenants, specially because this is happening inside of the building, not in the street

Working with this management company has been very easy. From the first step of showing the apartment to the paperwork involved acquiring it was streamlined and efficient. Calls are answered or returned in a timely fashion. The building we are in is very clean. I’m very happy with my experience.

Working with First Management Company has been great. I’m moving from one apartment to a bigger apartment in the building and I’ve been speaking with Jimmy and Katherine who have been very responsive and helpful with details on the new apartment I’m moving into. I’ve had the opportunity to chat with them at the office and they are also great people who cared about me during this rental process. I’m grateful to have been able to work with them and can’t wait to move into my new apartment! The building is super clean and the Super they have hired is amazing and is always responsive.

This management company is so unprofessional and incompetent. When I called the office about maintenance requests and basic inquiries, the employees would transfer me to a manager who consistently ignored my calls and failed to respond. Despite multiple attempts to follow up, my calls were left unanswered and voicemails went unreturned. Be careful as their primary focus seems to be collecting money rather than resolving any issues you may have.
