I live in a building managed by GH, a simple request to provide units assessment and monthly payments, which should be attainable by all homeowners has been blocked for months, at CEO level! This now raises a question of why and if unethical practices are being conducted that they don’t want visibility. The rudest, most incompetent "management" company out there. If your board selects Gumley Haft to manage your building, then something shady is going on as no normal board will want to do anything with these people.

Extremely incompetent and unaccommodating. Hallways have been under “renovation” for what feels like 2–3 years with no clear progress. Elevators are constantly breaking down. Basic maintenance drags on forever. Communication is cold and dismissive. It often feels like their main job is telling residents what we can’t do, instead of actually maintaining the building. We pay HOA fees every month expecting professionalism and basic upkeep. Instead, we get delays, broken facilities, and attitude. After years of dealing with this, we’ve decided to move and sell our unit.

Absolutely terrible experience. This management company attempted to fine me $1,000 for an “illegal move” based on bylaws that were never properly posted or communicated. There was zero transparency, zero due process, and no willingness to resolve the issue reasonably. To make matters worse, they attempted to interfere with my closing by inserting themselves at the last minute and creating unnecessary chaos.
