David at Hunter Homes, LLC is wonderful. As a property owner, I got called by tenant about an urgent water heater leak. David offered to coordinate the urgent fix so that the water leak and other damage are mitigated in time. And then he is willing to coordinate the replacement of water heater onsite. To say it a simple replacement is an understatement. Because the building is old, and space is very small to install water heater, there is significant challenge to make it happen. My property manager David was attentive, knowledgeable and patient while dealing with my issue. He is on in a group of very good people at Hunter Homes. They are a great choice for our needs !

Hunter Homes has been our managing agent since 2022. We have a small building - only 16 units. Mark Horowitz has been our managing agent for about one year. He's been responsive and professional.

Hunter Homes is very professional and their customer service is excellent. They handle our property management at 214 Willow, Hoboken and they are on top of everything. I really appreciate their fast response on various matters. Our manager David Davis is the best!

We’ve had Hunter Holmes managing our property for a few years now. Things really have improved a lot since Mark became a senior property manager. He’s thorough, professional, and realistic.

I have worked with many managing agents both in NYC and Hoboken and typically they are not very responsive, helpful or reliable. Hunter Homes is the first in my 40 years of dealing with managing agents that is responsive, helpful and reliable. By far the best managing agent I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend Jason the owner and Aiden our managing agent. They are conscientious, responsive and effective at managing a property. As I said, the best I've ever worked with.

David Davis at Hunter Homes is our building property manager. He is approachable and responsive and has helped us on few occasions with issues with our unit. He went above and beyond and coordinated with a duct cleaning company and helped us resolve a long time ongoing issue with our dryer vent. He also met us a couple times at the building to help us reprogram our garage door opener. We are very happy with their service.

David Davis is a professional, great listener, and so great at getting issues immediately addressed. I contacted him numerous times and he always responded quickly. David is a fantastic manager.

They are very responsive and helpful! We need some immediately help right after the new year holiday, which is supposed to be their busiest time, but Mark still responded quickly and solved the problem :)

Jason Hunter Property is an excellent property manager. He is honesty, organized, professional and has delivered the most comprehensive property management service to our building. Our cracked tile floor in the mailroom has bern replaced after many years. Our backyard is upgraded and cleaned. The maintenance staff comes to clear our building regularly and their work is through. He and his staff are kind-hearted, thorough, and wonderful to work with.

Having had quite a few landlords and property managers over the years, I highly recommend the team at Hunter Homes. They have been extremely helpful and supportive as well as prompt and courteous in responding to requests.

Mark is a gentlemen and a huge help. Answers emails really quick and addresses all issues and concerns. I’ve lived in Hoboken for a couple of years now and so far this has been the best group to maintain the building I live in!

In January 2025, my apartment suffered catastrophic flooding after a frozen pipe burst in the building. The plumbers sent by management “snaked” a frozen pipe, cracking it and releasing gallons of water that poured into my apartment — and the one above — for days. Despite the clear building-wide nature of the problem, the management company repeatedly deflected responsibility, saying they “don’t manage the individual units, only the building.” That makes no sense, because the flooding originated from shared plumbing systems that fall squarely under their oversight. I would leave negative stars if I could. Worst property mgmt experience of my life. Also, beware: they seem to have created this new google listing in the last month to erase the many honest NEGATIVE reviews. I had the displeasure of living in a HH managed building for 3 years & ultimately, the headache of working with them is one of the main reasons I left. Main issues - repairs are impossible to get done. We were once left with a huge, LEAKING hole in our bedroom ceiling above our bed FOR A MONTH. I had a package go missing and the immediacy of the response to help locate and bring the issue to a resolution was uncanny. Hunter Homes has been absolutely fantastic. After my unit suffered some pretty intense water damage, they were on top of the repairs immediately. Had a really great experience with Mark from Hunter Homes recently. Recently moved and Mark was there to answer every question. Whether it was via email or phone call Mark was friendly, informative and helpful. I have moved 5 times in the past 6 years and obviously moving can be stressful with last minute changes. Mark was very helpful and supportive and understanding of all questions and needs. Appreciate all of the help!!!

Our experience with Hunter Homes has been excellent. The team, particularly Mark, has been highly responsive, helpful, and professional. We had an issue with our bathtub upon move in and Mark responded immediately. He sent someone out that day and made sure to dig into every detail regarding this issue, in order to fix it in that moment and prevent it from happening in the future. We highly recommend Hunter Homes for their great service and helpfulness.
