We had a very amazing experience for over 15 years with R.E.M. With the assistance of Rick & Shpresawe were able to work together professionally and productively. Very kind, friendly people. Great to work with and they always pay on time. It shows they care and love their job and working with others like me. Christopher is friendly. Efficient, knowlegable and thorough. The company schedules "emergency" visits posted haste. All of the technicians are friendly. The office staff is friendly and helpful. I just came off of an incredible experience working with Zuzana at Gallery House. My condo most unfortunately had terrible water damage and all the floors had to be replaced. It was a long process but Zuzana guided me and the entire team every step of the way. Without Zuzana’s impeccable skill set and genuine concern and warmth, this would have been a daunting project. Zuzana made it all happen and is hands down the best building manager I have ever worked with.

Zuzana has always been an amazing, outstanding and professional property manager. She always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. It’s rare to find someone this dedicated and proactive. REM is lucky to have such a strong team member.

Company is staffed with very thoughtful and responsive team - always a treat dealing with R.E.M - REM Sent over Harold & Team @ Pelham Electric - they were Fabulous ! WORST and incompetent management + all reviews are fake/fake account. Just look at their history where all review miraculous appeared in few months. They suddenly went from 2 star to 4.8. 64 5 star review in the past 2 weeks and all these reviews only put rating and 10% left a comment. R.E.M. Residential managed our Condominium building in Brooklyn for a period of time in 2023. Specifically, we worked with Zack from the REM team. He was attentive, communicative and knowledgeable. He addressed concerns/issues in our building in a timely fashion and was extremely helpful. I would absolutely recommend the REM team and am optimistic that we can work together again in the future.

I would highly advise STAYING AWAY from this Property Management company. All these reviews are skewed because they ask people to delete the low ratings. I live in a condominium and own my unit in Midtown Manhattan. Our board went with this company due to the great reviews. WORST decision. THIEN and DELMY are by far the WORST property managers I have come across in the last 6 years of living in this condo. REM manages my coop building and I have positive experiences with our property manager, Violsa. She is highly professional, friendly and approachable. Violsa is well versed with the house rules and able to explain clearly.

On September 1, 2020 I have signed two separate agreements with R.E.M Residential to manage my residential building in New York and a second contract was signed to manage my shopping center in New Jersey. I don’t know where to begin when talking about this crooked person Rick Elezi from R.E.M residential. The contract was saying that R.E.M must deposit all collected rent into my bank account. I opened separate bank account specifically for him and deposited over $10,000 each time so that he can pay the building expenses. Since REM took over managing our building in 2022, the service has been wonderful. They are responsive and take good care of our building, and are nothing but kind whenever we’ve had an issue.

Luis did a great job fixing my bathroom tub handles that wouldn’t stop leaking. We’ve built a great rapport, and I really appreciate his work. He even took the time to clean up the old paint buildup, which made a huge difference. I added before-and-after pictures to show the improvement. I’m very pleased with my new tub handles. This company is terrible. Their treatment of senior citizens should be illegal! Charging extra rent is illegal! Not giving a lease and charging rent is illegal. We submitted receipts and they are still fraudulent in charging my grandma. Shame on you!

Great to work with because: - Quick to respond to requests - Renter portal is intuitive and provides notifications prior to due dates - Willing to work with client on flexible move-in/move-out dates and providing the best deals!

I lived in my NYC building for 5 years and R.E.M took over 2 years in and I have to say the communication from the beginning with REM was always met with kindness and attentiveness. The addition of the app portal made a lot of things easier(paying rent,etc). Any maintenance issues I had were always taken care of in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend REM and if I had a chance to live in a building managed by them again I would!

I’ve recently moved into a beautiful apartment run by R.E.M. Management, and they have been fantastic! They have helped with all repair requests quickly and efficiently from windows, electricians, new locks and regrouting. The apartment is pre-war and with beauty comes the need of extra love. They additionally remodeled the kitchen with new appliances, sink and cabinets all while respecting the design of this special era. Recently had to have some emergency repairs performed on the roof and the management company were responsive, the builders arrived timely and did a very thorough job. They even returned 3 days later to paint over the repair patches! Great service all round.

My experience with our building maintenance response time has been very good. Recently my oven broke and a technician came out very fast and determined it was not fixable. A new oven was promptly ordered by Melanie for us and delivered even with so much snow around.

REM is a great management company, everyone is super attentive from the back office to the superintendent of our building - they have communicated well and been fair about everything. We've had a great experience with them thus far :)

My building switched management companies about a year or so ago. I have to say R.E.M does a great job compared to who we had to deal with before. Finally a management company where I can get a human on the phone quickly. My apartment issue was resolved same day. Yes, same day! Kudos to this company for keeping on top of the buildings they manage and for keeping me happy. Keep up the great work.

The super at my property was amazing and the building was well maintained. Can't say the same about the people working at the corporate office. They witheld my security deposit for almost 60 days -- even thought NYS Tenant's Rights states that I should have gotten it returned within 14 days. They did not even reach out to tell me how much of the deposit I would get in return until I had gone out of my way to contact them about it. Their response was: 'the release of the security deposit from the landlords office can take upwards of 60 days. We unfortunately do not have control over this.' You'…

REM is the best property management company I’ve ever worked with. They were responsive with our (minor) maintenance requests and kept the building in great shape. They even helped us out after we move out and had a package sent at our old apartment by accident. I wish more property management companies provided their level of professionalism.

I just moved into one of the new REM-managed buildings in Westchester and honestly, I can’t say enough good things about my experience. From day one, the team has been incredibly responsive Vera the manager answering my calls and emails over the weekend, which is something I’ve never experienced, The building itself is absolutely gorgeous and in a perfect location, just half a block from tons of great restaurants and coffee shops. I greatly appreciate REM and our property manager Zack Simmons for stepping in to help expedite the return of security deposits after we had expressed concerns about our delayed timeline. Zack and the team went above and beyond to help confirm our information and resolve the issue. Additionally, outreach RE apartment maintenance and related issues were always promptly addressed and thoroughly resolved during our time there. We never had to wonder who to contact or whether they would be of assistance - Zack has been great!

After 4 years of living with REM Residential, I can't speak highly enough of their team. They promptly responded to any maintenance requests (while we didn't have many!). Absolute worst property management I have ever had to deal with. I always have to chase their team for maintenance service, usually ongoing for months, even though they never have to chase me to pay my rent. Rent is paid in full every month on time. For some reason, they are unaware of their own protocols as far as how to onboard new vendors they use for maintenance. They scheduled a tech to come out to me for a confirmed date and time. On the day and time he was supposed to show up, they tell me that they have to process the vendor as a new vendor in their system and that the visit would have…

The building next to ours has an HVAC system that randomly started making very loud, grating noises all day and all night. Normally I’m a heavy sleeper, but this was loud enough to wake me from sleep often. After working with Emanuel’s from REM Residential, the issue was finally resolved and I can sleep again :)

Melanie & Steve were extremely cooperative and helpful with approving new stove replacement within a few days. Also immediately dispatched Olsi our Super to my apartment when needed help having stove plugged into extension cord. Olsi was more than knowledgeable about what needed to be done & did an amazing job placing affixing the cord to the wall. We are lucky to have REM and Olsi on board!!

They manage property fixings real fast. Accomodates inquiries, acts promply to minor and major property works like plumbing, insulations, and overall renter's need for more comfortable city living. I called REM Residential late one Friday afternoon, not expecting to hear back until Monday. But to my surprise, Thien called me back within minutes and helped me out right away. REM has been the best management company we’ve had since I’ve been here. They’re responsive and easy to work with.

When our building was bought by R.E.M. it was an absolute relief and breath of fresh air. They are incredibly quick to answer any questions or concern either via email or phone and the portal makes it easy to pay rent and renew lease agreements. Couldn't ask for a better management company!

DO NOT RENT FROM REM. When I went to tour our building they had scrubbed it from top to bottom. Imagine my surprise when we went to move in the following week and the once clean stairwell was littered with food scraps and trash. Every appliance in our unit was broken. When the AWOL super wasn't available, they sent his brother who didn't know how to make any repairs. Rats and roaches had infested the building. Multiple roaches would run down our walls in broad daylight and climb into our beds. They nested in our coffeemaker and other kitchen items that had to be tossed. When we begged manageme…

Thank goodness for REM. Finally some property managers who care about the issues in our building and work quickly to deal with them. I am amazed at how quickly Nina returns phone calls and gets on the case. To resolve the issue i've had with heat for several years (before they became our managers) it took several people and a little time, but they stayed on it until it was fixed. When there was a leak from upstairs, they came quickly with excellent repairmen. Thank you Frank, Nina, Steven and all your crew!
