It’s truly hard to believe how incompetent this company is and how little they care about unit owners. They only take care of board members needs and ignore everyone else. My building had no heat for weeks during cold weather in violation of NYC law. Absolute out of this world cluster.

These guys are the absolute worst and most unprofessional group I have ever experienced, worse than the hell in Hawaii condo management that I went through and that is saying something. They are only responsive when they need an assessment or when they raise the HOA every year while the building still looks and acts like it was built in the 90s. During the meetings they try to put a good act like they care about the owners but it’s just so cringe it’s laughable. If you’re in the market to buy a condo managed by Solstice, best of luck.

Working with Solstice Residential Group's Assistant Director of Management Janeth Donovan has been more than satisfactory and she is to be commended. Our building is a magnificent pre-war co-op; however, standing on the corner of Madison Avenue and 37th Street for almost 85 years presents great challenges. She has a tough job to do and is professional and courteous and works hard to get positive outcomes.

Solstice drastically upgraded the quality of services in our building and have dramatically improved our finances. Our manager, George Noulas, is responsive, responsible, helpful, and knowledgable. The company offers five-star service, and after a string of mediocre building management companies, we feel lucky to be with Solstice.

The worst, most inflexible management company I have ever had the displeasure to work with. In addition to charging $500 to move out so they can line their pockets, they require a COI for any cleaners you hire. I’m trying to set up a move out clean, and they have denied three different companies, including the one they initially recommended!

Their communication is consistently poor, messages go unanswered, concerns are ignored, and residents are left without information or documents requested. I live at the Laurel. Solstice does take good care of the building or fix things that have been broken for years. The electrical in the pool area has been out for about four years, and no one has repaired it. They remodeled and put in a pool table that teens can not use, the room is made of glass. You pay for a service that you do not receive. Solstice Management does not respond to the people who live here.

Serious concerns about resident safety and transparency. This building has failed to address multiple open safety-related requests — including one that has been unresolved for over 8months despite more than 13 formal follow-ups. Management has refused to provide vote quorum data to residents, and meeting notices are often posted in obscure locations (like the basement), seemingly to limit community participation. Having worked with two management companies before, I can honestly say working with Pierre has been a breath of fresh air. He manages the building I live in with a level of care and professionalism that really stands out. He is responsive, approachable, and always on top of what needs to get done. Completely inflexible on move dates, charges you ridiculous move out fees, and rude for no reason to tenant living in the building for 5 years.

Buying and living in a property serviced by this 'management' company is a disaster. They had a wrong email on file and elected to leak sensitive information to that email for over 8 months. Their office is unreachable by phone 99% of the time. Next time you see a building with the 'Managed by Solstice' sign posted outside the front door, ask the real estate agent what other apartments they have on the docket and run.

Never pick up the phone. Never calls back. New answers questions clearly. Horrible management.
