I do not recommend this company. Stay as far away as you can. We fired them a few months back because their negligence cost us thousands of dollars in fines. They are incompetent, unresponsive and unreliable.

Our board selected this management company to oversee our cooperative in the Bronx, and it has been the worst management experience we’ve had to date. Communication from the assigned property managers is consistently poor, required filings are frequently done incorrectly, and resolving issues requires escalating matters to the board and even the city just to receive a response. Correcting their mistakes is unnecessarily time-consuming and frustrating. I strongly recommend avoiding this company—your investment deserves far better management.

Each year, the maintenance fees have risen by at least 10%, and I was informed that similar increases will be expected in the future. This management company was not responsive on issues I have from 2023. They do not know By-laws of the building they manage and as a result they coud not execute prroperly my issue in timely manner, until I had to notify a board member about legal actions I was about to take. They ignored my emails for years about noise complaints and only after I put this post about the company I received an email in less than 24 hours.

As an owner in this building, I’ve been consistently disappointed with the level of service provided by our management company. Our assigned manager is extremely unresponsive, often taking weeks to reply—if they reply at all. This has caused unnecessary delays in even the most basic issues. What’s more concerning is the lack of expertise in essential areas of property management. There is little to no understanding of capital projects, how to prepare or manage RFPs, or how to maintain basic vendor relationships. I am not sure that any property management company deserves more than one star but this one oversaw our coop slipping into debt while not advising the board to do anything about. Now we are dealing with a 12 percent maintenance increase. In the meantime their fee is about $ 95 000 per year. They seem to work with a lot of coops in the outer boroughs and in Harlem. Prob they know how to take advantage of those who are already disadvantaged

Horrible Property management company. I own a unit in Queens and the correspondence is horrendous. they hired a super that doesn't work. charge 250 dollars for key fobs and the receptionist is standoffish rude and dismissive. Property managers do not problem solve and have sparse and generic communication. We are currently into discussions with our board to terminate their contract. After much consideration, research and multiple disappointing experiences with past property managers, our medium-sized condo building switched to Venture NY Property Management about seven months ago and the difference has already proved significant. Our property manager, Celia, has been incredibly helpful juggling everything from day-to-day tasks like service scheduling and communications to stepping in on more challenging ongoing matters. Terrible communication. Unresponsive to emails. "Senior Partner" responded after I posted a negative review on Yelp several months ago. Claimed my email address was deemed SPAM so it never made it to their Inbox. Issue has since been cleared. However, I have not received a response to my latest email sent July 2024. I’m fairly new to my condo board but experienced in project management. So, when I encounter a professional like Amy Naranjo at Venture who is a good communicator, organized, responsive and effective, I’m grateful. Amy gets the job done well!

I am on the Board of a co-op and we have been very happy with Venture. They are responsive and transparent (not always common with property managers). Their monthly financial reports and bill paying software are both very good. We work with multiple people from the Venture team and they are all very professional.

Changing management companies is never easy or fun but in this case it was so worthwhile. Armin and his team are great people, honest, attentive and competent - an extremely rare combination in this field. They've been sorting out major problems with DoB stemming from almost 20 years of mismanagement by three previous companies and really follow through. Venture recently took over the management of a building in the Bronx and really turned things around. They discovered a lot of issues swept under the rug by the previous managing agent.

VNYPM is hands down the best property management team I’ve had to date! They over see my building in Astoria and I’ve never had a problem with them! They have such a courteous staff and I look forward to dealing with them whether it’s issues, building updates or even holiday gatherings arise!

Our fairly small, new condominium building in Queens selected Venture for our first year of board management, after a fairly difficult year of working with the original builder's management. Venture has been very prompt and responsive to all our questions and getting us set up with inspections, service providers, etc., as we are all first-time condo owners and board members. Venture's price was also the most reasonable of all the property management companies we spoke to, which has been a huge relief for a building of our size. We're looking forward to continuing to work with them!

We've had experience with a number of building management companies in Brooklyn. It's a tough landscape, and none are perfect. Venture, though, has been one of the better ones I've encountered. Once our Bensonhurst building hit our rhythm with them, they have been reliable about doing what needs to be done and responding to requests; the staff assigned to our building have been terrific (thanks Nellia, Shawnna, and Arielle!). Keep your expectations realistic and keep up the building's responsibilities, and Venture will deal with the management side at a reasonable price.

The team at Venture is so professional and experienced. They came in to our modest-sided condo in Brooklyn earlier this year after we were self-managed, and they helped get our building up to date with certain paperwork, inspections, and certificates. So that we were/are able to focus on work that has been waiting a long time to get addressed. Izeta is our rep, and she's great. Anes walked us through the initial interviews, and onboarding. The fees for their services are reasonable and fair. We are grateful for their help in keeping our building standing!

I didn't have any issues with them until it came time for them arrange for repairs to my unit due to a burst pipe above me. They never completed the job, kept taking weeks to respond and not keeping their own deadlines, and then eventually stopped replying to emails. There was also a mess from the first attempt at repair that Venture just left for me to deal with. After this experience, I'd recommend you use a different management company.

I will give it zero star if possible. The company hardly addresses any issue in our building. There has been issues with the windows in our apartment. They are difficult to open, including the one to the fire escape. We have sent a work request more than 2 years ago. They have sent someone to assess the problem but there was no follow up. I have put the problem in the work order but no one followed up. They automatically removed our work order online a couple months later although the problem was never addressed. THIEVES WITH BUSINESS LICENSE. Illegal withholding of deposit, double collecting rent from same unit/month. The level of unprofessionalism from VNYPM staff has been staggering. For last four months, every phone call has been met with "the manager is in a meeting," and emails go completely unanswered. Giving this company even 1 star is being generous. Quite frankly I have to wonder where some of these glowing reviews are coming from bc my experience thus far has been terrible. I’ve had an active problem in my apartment for several months, and despite repeatedly sending photos and videos showing it getting worse, I receive little to no response from management. Never, never, never accept the call no matter how urgent your issue is. She could rely you email after several weeks. Just moved in. AC’s been broken for almost a week. No communication. We’ve also asked to be added to the building’s communication system. No response. We pay this much rent for what?

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this experience with Venture NY Property Management — specifically Amy Naranjo — has been beyond unacceptable. The entire building’s AC system has been broken for weeks, and our apartment is currently 96 degrees with no working air conditioning. I live in Fort Lee, NJ. My Co-op is "managed" by Venture. We currently don't have AC. I believe this issue was handled poorly and is currently being handled poorly. Emails that have been sent are horribly worded and condescending. I am appalled that I am paying monthly maintenance and not receiving all the benefits. I am saddened to see our maintenance and door staff working hard while sweating through their clothes.

Celia has been responsive and helpful in dealing with problems in our co-op. . This has been true for issues within my apartment and for matters which impact the whole building. I had a problem with a radiator which was dealt with quickly. I am very appreciative of that during this very cold winter. The management of our building has been extremely disappointing. Communication is inconsistent, and follow-ups are rare, often requiring multiple attempts and months of waiting. Begged ,literally, for a response about a HVAC issue. Been without a response for over a week. Called, emailed multiple times. I was told Armin one of the owners is whom I need to speak to and whom I need to send emails. No response.

I live in one of the properties managed by VNYPM. Since I moved in December 2023, my neighbors dog routinely barks for hours on end. It took me 4 months to get any sort of response from management about this, and in the 3 months following the situation has improved. If you value sanity or silence, consider living somewhere else. If this review is still up, the issue has not been resolved.

If you are considering retaining this company, RETHINK. They should list their company as a Mismanagement company. We have have water leaking in our apartment nice January, dirty disgusting water all down the walls and on the carpet, in the air conditioner and damaging the ceiling. The damage we have incurred is dismissed and the living conditions are horrible. The response is NO response. Our representative Shawnna Thomas couldn't find the way out of an open paper bag. Worst company wish I could give negative stars. All around the absolute worst!

I’m on a condo they manage - they over charged me additional cleaning fees with no transparency, no breakdown of how the extra fee is for. They use their power over tenant and doesn’t allow fairness in conversations. Do not recommend at all.

I cannot rate Liza of Venture NY Property Mgnt highly enough. As far as Property Managers go she has by far been the best I’ve dealt with, her willingness to solve issues in a timely manner and fantastic communication skills have made my time as a tenant quite pleasurable.

I've lived in NYC apartments for almost 30 years and have experienced several different management companies. VNYPM is not perfect, but it is by far the best I have experienced and I am so thankful my century-old building in Queens secured their services a few years ago.
