I was going to leave a review here, but I already see many people already write the same thing I want to say. They are right. This whole apartment complex is terrible. Especially office is useless and never help with anything. We moved here almost 2 years ago and planned to stay a long time, but we will move out at the end of our lease.

So I been living here for 10 years, just got a promotion to open a new Costco in Albany New York which is a 172 miles,I ask if I can get out my lease 1 month earlier to find a new place in Albany, and I was rejected, trust me I get it I sign a lease term but it’ll be more understandable if I still had like 8 or 9 more months, I’m asking for 1 month early release and it’s a no, I was surprise you would think they’ll be ecstatic for me to leave since the next person is going to be paying like 300 more per month after they fix this apartment that I’ve lived for 10 years.I lived alone so the apart…

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This is a warning to all people looking to move here, since the new property manager started (Yafa) this place has never been the same. This woman strives to make this complex the worst livable complex in Jersey. The new management here at Waterside Villages in Little Ferry is absolutely horrendous and atrocious. Living here is no longer comfortable and relaxing for me and my family, and unsurprisingly, our neighbors have the same opinions and complaints. We have been living here for almost a decade now and the overall living environment of this apartment complex as a whole has shifted completely and is no longer reasonable from all the changes they started to make in the past 2 years. I’ve lived there 6 yrs and the new manager in the office is non professional very sarcastic and dismissive. We pay rent which isn’t cheap and now we can’t use our balconies without getting bit by bugs we had net fencing and now it’s been removed and will not be replaced so therefore bugs and squirrels skunks etc. come on balconies. Laundry rooms are dirty and the machines take your money and you never get it back. The whole schedule and replacement of the siding and windows was kind of a train wreck, I'm not going to lie. It's nice having them, sure, but they never came on the days we were told they'd come and were given no warning when they blocked breezeways or banged on the walls. Ridiculous policies! Now even the way you manage your balcony were being controlled by the management!! Do you know that WE, the tenants “pay” for every space of this unit! Waterside is one of the most spacious apartments you can find that's over 1030sq ft priced under 3000, Waterside has also improved for over a year now we are being renovated as we speak. 2 bd 2 bath, 1 bd 1bath, 2 bd 1bath, and a 3 floor balcony, alil dog park extra parking spaces. I called several times for someone to come fix the leaking tap no one came . New workers in the office not helpful and rude . Mostly of the time no one in the office. Sadly that its not like before when Anwar was there .

Owner does not take of the apartments, i asked them to fix my kitchen cabinets which are broken and no one bothers. The only time they would fix some stuff is if a unit is being sitting vacant for sometime. So, the maintenance of already rented apartment is the least of their concern. Another issue is that you get 1 assigned parking spot even if you are renting a 2 bedroom apartment and paying close to $3000 rent. Makes it super hard if you have 2 cars. 1. MICE infestation! We saw mice in our kitchen and/or bathroom. The exterminator and the supervisors came, set up the traps, but still didn't catch it. No one even blocked the hole until one month later. Me and my wife are too scared to use the bathroom and kitchen, even staying in the apartment during the day makes us nervous. 2. AC has been broken in the apartment for more than a month during summer. TWICE! Our AC was broken and it takes a month to fix that. We've been through a hot July with no AC. This place is amazing! Anwar helped us with everything when we moved in. I Love the area and convenience of all the stores and walking area is super helpful. No one bothers you and no issues with anyone. The maintenance is on point and whatever you need they do it ASAP. This place is perfect for young couples!

Good experience for the reasonable monthly rent.

Absolutely the worst management ever! They let people that are not listed on the lease to live in their units. Isn’t this a major violation of your lease stipulations? They let mentally sick people occupy apartments under someone else’s name for months and collecting little rent while charging hardworking families at least double the rent for the same size apartments. What games is management playing? Certainty not very legal if they break their own rules. Why is it allowed for tenant to be arrested and called cops on MULTIPLE times to still occupy an apartment?
