Gaslight continues to be a great neighbor on 249 Senator Place. Here's what the back yard looked like for 2 days. A maintenance employee stopped by yesterday worked inside and obviously saw the debris. He returned 2 more times, nothing addressed. The second is today, called around 3, no response explaining to them their tenants are using our garbage receptacles because they have nowhere to put it. Sad Property Management is being too nice.

Gaslight is the best. They have done wonders in my house since they bought it and I am very happy with them. They also get to things like maintenance requests done right away.

Our property was recently purchased by Gaslight. Our property manager Kristina has been great about getting things done. Ray from maintenance came and reglazed my tub. It looks brand new and he left the bathroom exactly as he found it. Ray did a fantastic job.

Zach did an excellent job helping us with our toilet flush issue. He quickly identified the problem, fixed it efficiently, and took the time to thoroughly test everything to make sure it was working properly before leaving. He was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the entire process. We really appreciate his attention to detail and commitment to ensuring the repair was completed correctly. Thank you, Zach, for your great service!

Ceiling of My room leaked for for 80 days gaslight didn't do anything about it till I involved a city organization. The apartments are nice but the maintenance and office doesn't respond- everything else is terrible.

Wanted to give a shoutout to Zechariah Hagans for all the maintenance work he has done in our apartment. He recently helped with our washroom roof repair, along with a few other repairs before & every time he has been super friendly, respectful & hardworking. He really takes his time to understand the issue & makes sure everything is fixed properly instead of rushing through the job. It’s honestly nice to have someone who truly cares about the quality of his work. Also appreciate the Gaslight management team for being quick to respond and sending help right away. Please don’t move here. I had just recently signed lease for one year and moved in Saturday. Which I am starting to regret. During my tour by Landon the tour guide they will fix bathroom and replace the stove. I had a very frustrating experience with Gaslight Property. Their communication is extremely poor and they rarely respond properly to questions or requests.

I’ve rarely felt this taken care of during a move, and this is my second time renting an apartment with Gaslight, which says a lot. I started with a virtual tour with Landon since I was in another city and the communication and follow-through were immediate and clear. Unless you can't find another apartment to live in (unfortunately they've bought out half of Clifton), I would not recommend renting with Gaslight - at least not at the building I lived in. My whole building was infested with cockroaches and rats during my entire time as a tenant and Gaslight Properties did not take sufficient steps to address the issue. Whenever I put in a service request for pest control they either did the bare minimum (like placing a single sticky trap next to the fridge, or sometimes not show up at all after posting that they are doing "pest control service" the next day…

He always fixes things super quick, sometimes even the same day I put in a work order. Every job he does incredible quality work. I had a very great experience with Ray from maintenance! He was able to address my hot water not working in my shower and fix the garage door in my building. Both in a very timely manner!

I cannot discourage anyone enough from renting through Gaslight Property. Their online portal is constantly having issues, leaving you unable to pay rent. When you reach out for help, no one responds—yet they still charge late fees for problems caused by their own system. Maintenance is a whole other issue. The staff themselves are great and do what they can, but nothing ever gets fully resolved. I have a recurring leak in both my bathroom and living room ceiling. I just had the worst experience with this company. I have been living in this apt for 2 years . They have the smallest parking lot for 16 residents to park. I leave work at 2:30am when I come home there is no where to park. So I park in the lot next door(remind u I have a parking sticker on my car). I wake up and my car is towed bc not only me but other residents have parked here. Saying I was blocking no car so what was i blocking. Then they say they called me. So I literally just called them about getting my deposit back for holding a apartment that I didn't get they tell me I can't get it back because of something that happened in 2016 which I tell them I was told I was getting back so im just out of 250 it's super hard times out here but all together they got a free 350 out of me I definitely don't recommend going to them it seems like shady business and im going to make it my mission to let everyone know

This review is solely about Ray the maintenance supervisor I believe. Not about living conditions. Ray was very kind and caring to me in person and he worked as fast as he could on fixing my refrigerator. There was about a week plus delay on getting someone to come out. But after the delay Ray was pleasant, professional and efficient. He did everything he said he would do. This is only about Ray. Not the maintenance system or gaslight as a whole. Shout out to Ray he is MVP.

I don’t recommend this property at all. The management has no proper supervision over tenants and seems to accept anyone without checking eligibility. My neighbors constantly smoked weed, were loud and annoying to the point that the police had to come multiple times. Despite the complaints, the management did nothing. They only care about collecting rent, not about providing good service or maintaining the property. The shared areas were always dirty and had a bad smell. When I moved out, they calculated everything in a way that I ended up owing them money instead of getting my deposit back.

Zero!!!! Be careful with Gaslight Property Management in Cincinnati. They hid the actual move-in date, which was different from the ad, refused to prorate early days, and included hidden fees like a $60/month internet charge. They pressured me to sign quickly before even showing the lease. Lesson learned: don’t pay any application or hold fees until you see the lease and get all terms in writing.

I have lived in gaslight for 3.2 years, these are the best people stealing money, never put a Deposit of 1 full month because they will find a way or another, due to their policies, to take that from you. Before I left, the person told me I won't be charged late fee. Then I see I have been charged after 2 weeks where my deposit is taken (1295$) and they want me to pay extra 300 $ for things they claim its there but just way a to make more money. The manager told me that you if you sent us an email saying you are leaving at set date, I will remove the late fee. I showed her the email, then she …

Its honestly impressive to be this horrible! I would probably have better experience living outside in a tent than inside one of their property since the temperature outside is better than inside! We have to take a walk outside to cool ourselves off from the heat of the house, I swear I can probably see heatwaves inside the home at this rate. Getting help is next to impossible here! They don't take any of your situation seriously. Our AC stopped working and we filed an emergency complaint because it was 94 degrees inside the house. They didn't send help! We had maintenance submitted a month ago for which they are just getting over now. Worst property management system around Clifton. The home lacks any proper regulation for heating or cooling, and we’ve faced countless issues without receiving timely or adequate support. Can't thank CJ enough for the help, truly the only dude who gets things done well, I am a resident at 3015 Clifton Ave. Whenever we get him assigned we know that the situation will be sorted out well! I have had friends from 3060 Marshall who talk the same about him. The most helpful and empathetic person I have seen in my entire life.

They are awful in allocating manpowers for bringing any solution. Most of the things mentioned in the lease are either not provided or are not working properly. Had trouble with even doing some basic stuffs. Getting help was next to impossible. Just a handful of technicians like CJ is the reason why some situation even gets addressed. There is not even adequate support in emergency situations. We are unable to even live in the house we pay rent for because the situation is unbearable. Would not recommend, I wish i could give below 1 star!!

I would rather be homeless than live in one of the gaslight properties apartment. There is always problem in the building. Worst property management. Moved twice in a single year because of mold, plumbing issues. Even then there are issues everytime. I have to call for maintenance everyweek and even then they dont respond unless they allocate CJ. There is no heating in winter, no cooling in summer. Its like living in sauna at 95 degree. There is always plumbing issues, electrical issues, door issues, cooling and heating issues. They always leave their work unfinished or mess up more instead of fixing. Only guy who truly does his work is CJ.

Gaslight provided a seamless process for myself as I was searching and finding a place to live on UC’s campus. I was very satisfied with my experience and it was made easy by Sadie, who was my leasing specialist. All questions I had were able to be answered and it was done so in a timely manner!

Shout out to Cj doing a hella of a job completing my work order with in 24 hrs of me putting it I’m so glad that I’m able to request him he’s definitely going be my go to person for my orders my guy deserves a raise

I’ve had a lot of difficulty with gaslight handling my issues as I have water leaking from my window which is from a roofing issue. I’ve had a lot of maintenance workers come to my house to take pictures but CJ has been the only one to actually help. He made sure to not only take pictures of everything but also gave me solutions to other issues around the house. Very grateful for his help! Gaslight needs to do better.

I must commend gaslight property team with whom I have dealt before my daughter actually moves in. Kristina and Brieana have been very responsive and helpful, and Keah was especially helpful to move several of the big furniture boxes into the unit for us. We’re so thankful!

956 Ludlow run down with many plumbing issues. They filed eviction on me after 15 months paying on time because I was paying too late with late fees. They expected me to pay the court fees on top of rent and late fees. Corporate jerks.

They do not care about their tenants. My oven caught on fire on Thursday and it’s now the weekend and they don’t seem to care to fix the issue. They are very incompetent and inconsiderate.

Don replaced our vertical patio blinds that have needed it for so long! He took the initiative to have them replaced. He was very personable and thoroughly completed the task!!

Don was really helpful for the issues I had in my washroom. He worked really hard to fix them.

CJ came back and did an amazing job on the issue in the apartment, he also fixed a few other issues that weren’t on the work order he goes above and beyond GIVE HIM A RAISE.!!!!

Excellent maintenance work done by Ray Jackson at my apartment! He did some caulking around the shower and listened to my concerns about a drip sound I hear. He also called the day before so we could agree on a good time for him to drop by! Thanks 😊

I have a very disappointing experience living at Gaslight Property. I stayed there for one year. The management was very very poor and maintenance issues were constant. The building was infested with roaches and they didn't do anything about it when I complained. And, overall, it didn't feel like a safe place to live. Gaslight Property is wonderful. I've been in my spot for about a month now and am super comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues upon move in, but are being resolved in a timely manner. Sadie in the office, and Ed in maintenance have been the best! ---As an update on this review. I have now been here over a year, and have signed my second lease. I would highly recommend if you are looking for student housing or an inexpensive place to lay your head.

The property managers don't take care of building needs

I had Keith come to fix my kitchen faucet when it was clogged. He believed previous tenants were putting grease down drain. He was completely done under 30 minutes. He was very nice and gave a very professional job.

1st of all I would like to Thank Phil from the Maintenance dept for his professionalism and his kindness for coming out on a Saturday morning and fixing my plumbing problem with my bathroom toilet , from what I thought was a simple clogged was much much more that but being the professional as he was he didn't bat an eye or cruse but just got the job done , Gas Light Property you have a great employee there so hang on to him and treat him well .. Ed and Phillip were both incredibly helpful at getting our washer/dryer fixed. Unfortunate that Gaslight’s management has chosen a difficult washer/dryer combo to be in our unit but that’s not Ed or Phillip’s fault - they did the work of coming by multiple times to make sure it was working properly and is now in good order. Appreciate their friendly nature and attentive focus on resolving a difficult issue.

There was a gas leak in my apartment complex and the maintenance guy Phil was super kind and respectful when checking. He has helped me with many issues. Good to know I have maintenance that will help when I need it.

I stayed at this property for two years, and it was an absolutely terrible experience. The management is unresponsive and disrespectful toward tenants. Beware. they towed my Bike out of the parking spot l pay for monthly . they lied through their teeth throughout the whole process of me getting it back and made me pay $ 256 to get it out of the towing . when you complain they tell you there s nothing they can do with a big fake smile on their face. this company represents everything wrong with our country . deceit , and lies and no hesitations to make tenants pay for everything , legit or not . l strongly advise others to take their business somewhere else

When I gave my notice of moving out, they did not give notice of an apartment viewing and knocked and came into my apartment while I was sleeping. I work nights and told them this, yet they gave no effort to accommodate scheduling tours during reasonable hours or during my off days where I didn't require stricter sleep for work. I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Gaslight Property. From day one, our home was infested with roaches. They crawled everywhere. The staff exhibited extreme rudeness, and there was an utter lack of concern for both the properties and the residents. Upon signing the lease and receiving the keys to the apartment, I discovered a roach trap in the corridor and numerous dead cockroaches within the apartment itself. Consequently, I submitted a maintenance request for pest control treatment. The team at Gaslight Properties is responsive and easy to work with. I am about to sign another lease with them, and Jaden Bridges was quick to answer my questions, and she took time to let me walk through the apartment a second time. Some of their properties are better than others, of course, but the people are friendly and care about doing a good job.

Personally speaking I’ve had no issues with gaslight! The maintenance crew has been very helpful with a couple issues I’ve had that have been out of anyones control. Nick came and fixed some issues in my bathroom within 30 minutes of me sending in a request. He was kind and efficient!

Would not recommend to anyone. Terrible management. Only Katie Coulson is competent and helpful, so if your unit is under her jurisdiction, congrats. Otherwise it has been an abhorrent experience trying to contact management to get property issues resolved. The staff is unresponsive, and they are belittling when I can actually get a hold of them. Communication is absolutely horrible (non-existent for issues UNLESS it's about the company wanting tenants to re-sign leases).
