They continue to try to push through a large development down the street from my house where the community came up with development standards very different than what PLK is looking for. PLK is looking out for what is best for them. PLK's website says about the project - "The underground garage provides 350 spaces, including 183 for public use." Reality - PLK is providing some commercial parking per zoning requirements but this results in NO additional public parking. It is not even providing enough commercial parking spaces to support its own development.

Rachel at Remington lake changes policy’s with no notice. Decided no payments will be accepted at all past the 10th even if you have the money. Even if you pay fees with no problem. Mind you this isn’t in my lease. So even after speaking to a higher up they are refusing to take my rent. These are greedy money hungry people. Since the new management company, PLK, took over at my complex, the overall quality of the property has noticeably declined. Staffing appears to have been reduced, and the grounds are no longer maintained to the same standard as they were under the previous ownership. Additionally, the office staff have not been as helpful or knowledgeable, particularly when it comes to the move-out process. PLK previously managed The Oaks apartments. While they had some issues, the property manager Julie and Tim the maintenance man at least cared about the residents and took good care of the property. The owner recently sold their properties to Prime Residence Group and it has been nothing but problems ever since. I really wish PLK was still managing us because this new company is not good by any means.

For the love of god I’ve had roaches for almost two years now. management does not care!!! I’ve been the only one and a select who gets sprayed every two weeks. for the past 2 years!! This building is infested at brixworth and they are too incompetent to realize because the tenants here claim they don’t see any. Only i complain so management puts the blame on me that i am infested with roaches. nobody else but me. my first treatment to my most recent bomb that did absolutely nothing they already bombed two other units in november that did not stop anything.

Living in a PLK Communities apartment complex has been a truly disappointing experience. From the start, it’s been clear that tenant care is not a priority. Do not rent from this company. They forced my wife and me to pay $1000 for an entirely new fridge upon moving out, as their maintenance guy scratched the original during installation. They then refused to let me take the original even though it was in perfect working order. They will frequently need to do pointless inspections of your apartment with almost no notice. They let the trash pick up really early at Gentry East Apartments (which they own) and it is really disturbing and wakes up the whole complex, which they don't care about because they are not the ones getting woke up by the load noise. I highly recommend not moving into any properties owned by PLK Communities.

I lived at one of the PLK properties for 4 years and no major issues until I bought a home and moved out. My last day on their property was Sept 23rd. I was told it takes up to 30 days for them to assess the townhouse and send the information to corporate who would then send me a check for my deposit. I called the rent office on Friday, Oct. 25th, 32 days after I moved out, asking if the townhouse had been processed and to get an ETA on my check. I was told that they had to check with the manager but that I left it in such great condition I would receive my entire deposit back. I heard nothing…

The property manage does not do her job and her friends that live in the apartment act as if they are employed and try to enforce rules. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. And to the person who replies to these reviews with all your word throw up, save your time and your apologies. Make a change to your staff that's how you help.

I love living at a PLK community. The office and maintenance team are amazing and quickly take care of anything I need.

Such a great place to live and work! I love how they involve residents by doing multiple resident events. Also how they give back to the local communities around Northern Kentucky and the greater Cincinnati area.

They gave me an apartment filled with roaches, water damage and mold. I made several complaints and requests which were subsequently ignored. Thankfully they sold the apartment to people who actually fix things and enforce the leasing terms that PLK WROTE!!! Do not recommend them, at all. They knew about the leak before I moved in, pushed back my move in date to “fix it” And left me with mold and an unfixed leak for three weeks because they couldn’t be bothered to fix it. One star is too many. I have had the unfortunate experience of living in a PLK Apartment. Latitude at Deerfield in Mason. The unit was filthy upon move in. That is something that just happens. You deal with it and move on. I complained about my carpet being old and dirty upon move in. The then property manager only response was we cleaned it before you moved in… Ok. Roger that. But when the carpet is so dirty you purchase a smart vacuum which runs two cycles a day and manually vacuuming daily can’t eliminate the dust and allergens it’s time to replace it.
