Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing due to poor communication. The biggest issue has not been communication with me as the owner, but with prospective tenants. Multiple interested applicants informed me that their phone calls, emails, and inquiries were not returned in a timely manner. When potential tenants cannot reach the property management company, it can result in lost leasing opportunities and unnecessary vacancy. If I could give -1000 stars I would. They bought our rental property from another company and they have not come out once to look at the place. Will not respond to emails. You try to call and it’s a call center. We asked them to come out BEFORE the winter to fix our broken foundation and guess what? Nothing. The basement is flooded and creating mold. Do not rent from this company. They also love tacking on extra fees. Avoid at all costs.

True home is a horrible company. They take a 10% a month and 100% of first months rent but provide no service without charging you. They charged me almost $100 for a call telling them I'm using my own repair as a "coordination fee" any tiny repair they do they will charge huge amounts and add that fee. They did a horrible job finding tenants. Both times tenant had a history of deliquant payments. 2nd time tenant never payed rent. Truehome is going to charge me the cost of eviction assuming the tenant won't pay (she won't). Please steer away from this company!!

If you are a property owner, I strongly recommend avoiding this company. They managed two of my rental properties, and their performance was consistently unacceptable. They placed an unqualified tenant in a professionally renovated property in which I had invested approximately $50,000. That tenant caused over $6,000 in damages, left a $900 unpaid water bill, and kept a large dog on the property without my knowledge—resulting in additional damage. Been with True Home Ohio for over a year and its been a pleasant experience. They have been good with communication whether that be general information about the property or maintenance requests. For maintenance, the contractors that they hire are also pretty good and go above and beyond to make sure that any issues identified are resolved. In our case, we found an new issue while the contractor was on site and they were happy to help get it resolved.

We have worked with True Home for several years. Their management expenses are higher than most competitors but Sherwin and the team make up for it by providing quality service and effective communication to owners and renters.

Thee absolute worst people to work with. They automatically added a $40.95 fee to my rent for renters insurance and air filters. 4 month later (a large handful of emails) I FINALLY received one air filter, and yet to have papers proving I have renters insurance. Don’t expect anything out of them other than taking money and not fixing anything. If you’re looking to hire them to look after your properties, find a handyman willing to take it on. As an owner who was concerned about my long term tenants, I took a ton of time researching to find the organization that could represent me the best, as well as take care of my tenants. Run away. I lived at 33 E Court St. Apt. 305 in Cincinnati for 12 months. In my 12 months there, I almost took the management company to court when they tried to not provide me why parking pass for 12 months which was offered in the listing for the apartment. It took more than a month to receive the parking pass and I had paid almost $300 in parking for the month and a half and threatened my attorney on them until I received a full reimbursement and the parking pass. As soon as I moved in on a property they managed I had an issue with the neighbor. She was smoking in the unit despite the lease saying this is a smoking free building. True Home Ohio Property Management is the WORSE property management I have EVER came across. I’ve been at my apartment for only 5 months and my home is infested with MICE and BUGS. The flooring of the apartment is separating apart from the walls that are causing GAPS where MICE and BUGS can get in. I caught 4 mice within 24 days. Been renting from True Home for about three months now and came to the realization that they don’t really care about their tenants. Warning: Bed bugs. Do not rent from this company. I rented an apartment from them and slept a total of 7 nights there before figuring out that I had become a bed bug buffet. They even brought in their own exterminator who confirmed the infestation but refused to acknowledge me after that. They stole 2 months rent from me. Charge way too much for rent. (1900 3 bed 1 bath) Moved in air conditioner doesn't work for 6 weeks. The owner got upset and told me he was firing true home and to not pay them. To wait for further instructions. They charged me a late fee. The owner changed his mind and the late fees still had to stick. I kept fighting the late fees while paying my rent. and they kept charging me a late fee for being late. Then they kept puting notices on the door instead of emailing them. The place is well-maintained and a good price for the amount of space. There were some minor issues that had to be resolved after moving in. It did take two weeks for my maintenance requests to be completed, which included getting a battery in the smoke detector. All in all, I'm excited to be living here and I love my new space.

I don't know if they are the worst but they were the worst experiences for us. 0 stars if I could. Now I was a resident but we were i contact with the owner frequently and the property management was absolutely useless while also charging us and the owner left and right for things they didn't even do/fix. True home handled the issue with my roof perfectly when a tree fell and damaged it. They fixed it very quickly. They were very responsive the entire time and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. True home is fantastic to rent from.

All expectations from the owner and tenant were clear and concise. No hidden surprises. After moving in there were a few things that needed to be addressed. Then when you have bad tenants disrupting your livelihood they send out notices that they are going to fine those causing problems but then they don't. But no action is taken.
