Avoid This Property Management at All Costs** I had a very, very bad experience with this company. They do not work with transparency. The day I was going to move into the house, I spoke with the real estate agent and she told me that everything was fine, the house was clean, that she had made sure by walking the house and that it was in good condition. When they gave me the code to enter the house and I opened the door, it had a very strong and unpleasant smell of dog and the house was dirty, which they lied about, saying that the house was clean and it was not. Heed the other reviewers warnings; if you are thinking of renting through Ascend, look elsewhere. I moved sight unseen to my current rental as I was relocating for work. The day we took the keys I almost couldn’t believe the shape of the home. Doorknobs falling off, wet dog smell from all the carpets (no pets in the lease terms mind you), garage opener duct taped together, previous tenants garbage piled on top shelves in garage, windows and doors unable to latch, duct tape residue throughout the hard wood floors, air conditioner with mouse nests inside (I cleaned it out and it failed on the f…

HORRIBLE COMPANY! Let’s just say they messed with the wrong tenants. Save yourself and don’t rent with this company.

Almost every appliance in our home has failed this year, and the average repair time was 3-4 months. Now, after ice storms, our heat went out. The company refused to expedite a repair until we threatened to send them a hotel bill, at which point they said fine and got someone out so we didn't freeze in our sleep. The realtor then got aggressive on the phone saying "I expect you guys to make yourselves available as I have done for you, we will not cover a hotel room" as if they are not responsible for maintaining their own property.
