This company manages a house across the street from me. Based upon what I’ve seen from the exterior of the house, this company is letting the house become dilapidated and allowing tenants to park all sorts of vehicles around house. Likely there are people staying at this place that aren’t on lease. At times there are 10 vehicles parked around this house and Washington county has tagged them as illegally parked before.

Horrible even for the landlords, I am not getting the rent from his placement past 4 months.

I've been working with this property management company for a year now, they manage a house for me. We had quite a fiasco last week with scammers trying to rent out my house. Jessica handled the situation making a really potential stressful situation much easier. I wouldn't have know what to do if I had been renting the property by myself instead of hiring professionals that know the laws. Thank you!

When I moved to Murrayhill Woods Condominiums the apartment had not been professionally cleaned. It looked like someone just passed a rug to clean the dust in the restroom and left all the dirt that builds up around the sink and faucet. The shower had worst dirt build up. The toilet seemed that someone had been flushing sand. I had videos and pics of all of this but it were taking up too much space on my cell. If you could do zero stars or negative stars, I would. Upon moving in, the yard was not landscaped or cleaned up, the house was not cleaned upon moving in, the raised flower beds were overgrown with berry bushes, etc. Upon moving out, we had the place cleaned professionally, the yard was landscaped (the weeds grow back within a week) and they did not come for 5 days after we moved out. We live at Shawn Apartments, on bel Air Drive .Not a healthy place to live, especially if you have children. Water taste bad, the craws pace is full with rotten smelly water, mice walking freely in the kitchen, living room, heater didn’t work and waited a long time to get it fixed, doors not latching, the smell of cigar was penetrated in the walls, we bought our own mice traps and mice died inside the walls and it was a horrible smell for several months, and the water from the craw space made my place having little creatures at different time of the night to crawl in my place. They let you know not to use the other buildings trash because of different property management but the same building we can’t use the trash at gets to take all of the parking from our building. Aside from the fact that you can not speak to anyone in person and the miscommunication and false statements regarding deposits, upon moving in we noticed right away the house was not deep cleaned. The toilets were disgusting and the house not properly dusted or spot painted. There was also extra debris left over from past tenants. i was a renter of mcneeley properties for five years, and lemme tell you: they do not care about anything but getting your money. i mean like, sure, they're a business first. but they make it very apparent that they are not there to assist their renters in any way. when i moved out of my one bedroom apartment, i hired a cleaning service to shampoo the rugs. after i moved out, they contacted me trying to claim that the carpets had been left dirty-i had to provide them a receipt for the carpet service to get them off my back. they claimed the entire property was filthy and that they had to hire…

Rented two places from them for around 4 years. The locations were great but you will never get your security deposit back and they will find a way to charge you $80 when you leave. Happened to me twice. These guys suck.

I live across the street and although I am also hearing the noise, I do understand this area need more housing. Having said that what to me shows that don’t care is the state of the trash area. Garbage and boxes you can see under the fence and it pours out to the street. Right now it seems a piece of garbage is hanging over the top of the fence. It does not look he Jim is providing recycling with all the boxes you can see in there. It’s disgusting really

Place was clean and presentable. Love locations of the property and quick to respond to messages.

I have had the same experience as Taylor Jenkins from 2 months ago... "They barely answer phone calls, they do not follow through on maintenance requests" This has been my experience for a year now. We have unanswered emails, unattended to minor maintenance requests. I wish the owners of this townhome were aware of this. Jim McNeeley must aspire to be Portland's greatest slumlord. In all seriousness, its mostly small stuff, but being ignored is not fun.

**update on maintenance** I have requested our stair railing be fixed multiple times because it is a safety hazard. My landlord has had photos of this broken railing since November. After another time requesting help, they finally "fixed" it. Their idea of fixing it was to put glorified duct tape on the railing. Which will fall off the next rain storm. I had to basically threaten another lawsuit for negligence and ADA-noncompliance before they finally put the screws in to fix it properly. I had a really disappointing experience working with Jim Mcneeley Real Estate, specifically working with Katie Mcneeley. Our family was impacted by the ice storm in January and our home was hit by a tree. They told us the 6 month lease we signed could move month to month, which worked perfectly since we were unsure when the repairs to our home would be done. Worst management company I’ve ever worked with. Took forever to get things fixed. One instances in December last year they took 2plus weeks to repair the hot water heater. Charged me for fixing a fence post that fell down when the fence is suppose to be home owner responsibility and it needed fixing when I moved in. They tried to raise my rent to almost $3400 this summer and I moved, the house is still not rented and they have now relisted it for $2995, which is less than what I was paying when I moved out. They are not responsive and in my experience, the office staff don’t care to be helpful…

Easy to work with and friendly staff. My room mate and I cleaned thoroughly at the time of move out and got our full deposit back. I would rent from this company again.
