We've been working with KBC for many years and have found the staff to be great and easy to work with.

I've been very pleased with how KBC Management has taken care of my rental facility. They promptly reply to any maintenance request, go above and beyond to handle things in a timely manner, and are friendly and kind. I have no complaints so far!

I have had nothing but positive experiences working with KBC Management in Portland. My property manager for El Carlos “Elijah” has been attentive, professional, and incredibly kind. KBC is organized and takes such good care of their rental properties and tenants. I am pleased and would rent from them again!

Honestly, my wife and I have had nothing but good experiences with KBC at our apartment. Beth has been extremely helpful and accommodating for us, with both general management and any issues that have cropped up. We've never had any trouble with them or the company, and our time in our apartment has been quite positive. Of all the apartments I've lived in in Portland, this has been the smoothest experience!

I have lived at a KBC property for just under a year and thus far I have zero complaints. My property manager is great. Someone who communicates consistently, clearly, and responds quickly if any issues arise with my unit. My unit specifically is well taken care of for the age of my building and compared to the comps in the area - fair pricing. Community locations at in my building - hallways, lobby, public sidewalk, mail room are always clean and taken care of. As a Portland transplant - KBC made my transition to a new city seamless.

Unresponsive. Final Accounting is done but it was missing prorated amount. Requiring additional inquiry concerning that. Told its processing separately from final accounting. Seems disorganized. Poor communication. Stalling on returning deposit & prorated amount due. Will not respond or provide information on when they will actually mail it. Literally—no response. When I did receive responses they were ambiguous in nature. I think they have about six days before it is passed the statutory date when penalties become actionable. Would have rather had a good experience and had nice things to say …

The KBC Management company lied to me when my 23 year old niece died of suicide in one of their units. They said I could come take care of her things. So I spent over $2000 to fly out to Portland, only for them to tell me that I cannot access the apartment and our family has to pay for lawyers for her “estate” (comprised of crafts and thrifted furniture) to gain entry. They are not attuned to the details of the situation and only interested in exploiting our family for rent, in the most inhumane way possible. I would never recommend renting from them.

Beth Rolison manages the building I live in on Trinity. They are a fantastic manager, and I keep forgetting to leave a review! I’ve lived in multiple apartment buildings and have dealt with plenty property management companies (I also work for a commercial PM company in the area, Interurban Real Estate, so I get how absolutely demanding pm jobs can be, which speaks more to how incredible Beth’s efficiency is… I don’t think I’m even that fast.) I've been in Portland a little over a month, KB management has been wonderful thus far Sylver in particular has been a saving grace, I can't explain in words how much this move has been seamless and just an ease I'm very thankful!

I just moved to Portland and had such a great experience with Sylver and KB on finding my new home! I had to be out of my previous place asap and they really went above and beyond to get my application reviewed in a timely manner and I had my keys in no time. Sylver kept me in the loop every step of the way and still checks in to see if I’m happy with my new space ☺️ they truly care about their tenants and they work hard to maintain the building. I truly couldn’t be happier!

I recently moved there, along with all my documents and the help Sylver Murray provided; very professional and efficient service. Everything was easy and fast. I'm happy to have found this place to rent. Thanks to KBC Management and Sylver Murray for giving me the opportunity to rent the apartment.

I needed a new place fast and Elijah Lee came through for me. She answered a myriad of questions quickly, gave a prompt tour and made the transition very easy and smooth. 5/5!

I relocated from San Francisco a few months ago. I planned to explore Portland before deciding on a place. I must have toured at least 20 places before I met Elijah Lee Jones, a property manager for KBC Management. With her help, I found the exact right apartment. But more importantly, she was a champion and support each step of the way. On a scale from terrible from spectacular, Elijah is super - spectacular.

I recently moved to a KBC Management property and it’s been wonderful. One of the reasons I chose this apartment building was how incredibly kind and helpful the property manager was when I applied and toured the unit… fast forward - I was moving into the property manager’s unit so that he could retire and move away. Since moving in I have worked with Neil and Nicole and they’re wonderful - they’ve gone above and beyond in so many ways and it’s truly a gift… also everyone I’ve met in the other units are so friendly and it feels like a good little community. I highly recommend renting from KBC.

I lived in the Barcelona Apartments in NW Portland, managed by Beth Rollison, for the last year. I loved the apartment, as it had great natural light, beautiful wood floors, and in-unit laundry. Additionally, the building was nice and quiet and was in a great location. Beth is a great property manager - very responsive to any maintenance requests or questions. The only reason I moved was because I was moving in with my partner and we needed a bigger space.

Elijah is doing an outstanding job of improving the tenant experience here at Cedar Hills Town Homes. Once Elijah stepped in things started to improve immediately. Things needed to improve after a new (inexperienced) management team was hired last year. Elijah is responsive and follows through. She is personable and professional at the same time. Good job, Elijah!

Living at one of their properties has been a great experience. The building is accessible, well-maintained, and the staff is always ready to help. Beth, in particular, is incredibly supportive and goes above and beyond to make day-to-day life easier. The team is responsive, communicates clearly, and follows through quickly. Compared to other places I’ve lived, where basic needs often became a hassle, this has been refreshingly smooth. I’m truly thankful for the professionalism and care they bring to the community.

I lived in the Nottingham apartments for 3.5 years. That transition from management by owner to KBC was seamless thanks to our property manager Elijah. Any maintenance requests were handled promptly and she genuinely cared about resident experience and quality. Elijah went out of her way to help me with packages multiple times and made the move out process very easy. Would highly recommend!

I've only been in my apartment for 4 months but so far it's been a great experience working with Elijah! I've appreciate Elijah's communication and care to make sure any of my maintenance concerns are addressed.

I’ve been a resident of the Nottingham community for two years. Elijah and Chris have been absolutely incredible managers. They are friendly and very professional, whenever I’ve needed anything they’re always quick to respond and helpful.

I recently had an issue and Elijah Lee, our on-site KBC manager, handled it promptly and very professionally. She is very polite, friendly, and efficient. It is a pleasure dealing with her.

After harassment didn’t work, they closed my portal and ghosted me, making it impossible for me to pay my rent so the could file for eviction. Why? So they can raise the rent. Do they care that I am a single mother? No. They have done every nasty thing possible trying to make an extra buck with no care to the consequences for myself or my daughter.

I lived in the Valencia for a bit over 6 years and loved it. I had an incredible building manager, Elijah, who consistently went above and beyond to take care of the building and its tenants. KBC was great to work with - and if I was still renting I wouldn’t hesitate to rent any of their properties. I often recommend them and will continue to do so.

As frustrating and bewildering as it can be to begin searching for a new dwelling place in Portland, and especially all from out of state, my near state of exhaustion was interceded by the likes of Elijah. We met online as I was attempting to apply for a very small utility apartment to which I would likely not be well suited when she made the beautiful suggestion that I might more aptly fit and appreciate a specific dwelling to which she had in house knowledge. KBC has been very communicative and helpful when there are any issues. The staff has been exceptional from my experiences. Most of all Elijah Lee! Over the last 10 years I have been in this space she has been nothing short of amazing. Employees like this are what make or a break a company and KBC seems to know that.

I've been living in the Valencia for over a year and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. KBC continues to make building improvements and wastes no time in addressing any issues. Elijah has been a pleasure to have as property manager and is always responsive and willing to help anytime I have had a problem or questions. She communicates regularly with all of us tenants in regards to anything going on in the building and you can tell genuinely cares about the people living here.

Beth is amazing! The best landlord I’ve ever had! KBC is so easy to work with and they keep their places so clean and nice. I would move back to one of their properties in a heart beat!

I've stayed in two KBC-managed buildings. Once in Estelle Court, for about a year, whose caretaker Susan is fantastic. Next, for about three years, in the Macleay by Forest Park. I had a south facing single bedroom with a balcony that I really enjoyed; crows, squirrels, and Steller's Jays often visiting nearby. The building is expertly taken care of by Willow, who from our first interaction was delightfully kind, knowledgeable, and genuine in addressing any concerns. Above & beyond! We had a couple of "yardies" when the weather was nice & folks from the building were able to meet and have fun …
