A great property management company. Our property manager Toi has been super on top of everything, and made it very easy to process our lease and payments and everything, especially after a bad experience with a very disorganized company they thankfully took over for recently.

Our landlord informed our house tenants that NWV has less of a trigger finger when it comes to evictions if communication of needs occurs in advance. Obviously, this is determined from situation to situation. Our property manager, Vanessa Tello, advocated on our behalf to keep our rent increase under the 10%-which has been very helpful in this economy. I give 4 starts, because it can be slow when needing house repairs. I think this is due to access or short staffed when it comes to trade workers. But overall, fairly responsive.

Thanks NWV for hiring a property manager we can depend on and is consistent. Says a lot about a landlord when they take the time out to hire an awesome Property Manager. Tiffany Moss is the best. She’s attentive with the tenants. She responds to tenants in a timely manner when we contact her. Tiffany takes the time to listen to our concerns and needs. The best property management in Portland metro. They have managed my properties for years.

I have been a responsible tenant who pays rent on time, which is why I was disappointed by my recent experience with management and maintenance. I was informed by a maintenance technician (Matt) that a toilet seat replacement would be considered normal wear and tear. Based on that understanding, I did not expect to receive a charge. However, I was later billed $109 for the replacement and told it was considered resident-caused damage. Had I been informed in advance that I would be charged, I could have replaced the toilet seat myself for a fraction of the cost. I also was not given prior not…

This agency is neglectful and dismissive. The moment they took over management at my apartment complex it was extremely obvious they do not care about their tenants. I asked about paying and they sent confusing instructions, most options cost extra, so I paid in the manner they suggested of paying in the office… except they meant their main office. Nick Gradt was the direct property manager I worked with and I’ve never experienced such a warm, compassionate, and understanding property manager like him. This was my first time with a larger company and I felt so held and supported as a tenant with Nick. He is responsive, SO understanding, and really works with you and for you. My girlfriend and I have recently just moved from out of state and didn’t know the process to get an apartment at all. Nicholas was super helpful and patient with all our phone calls and emails. We applied for one apartment and changed our mind and Nicholas walked us through transferring our application. Couldn’t ask for better.

The touring, application, and approval process was so fast and easy! The communication between me and the leasing company was never slow or confusing and Ruby was super helpful in making sure all our ducks were in a row during the application process. I was very grateful to work with a leasing company that was straightforward and timely in their communication and responses.

They are incompetent in their job asking for extra paperwork and they are sloopy don't want to do their job on calling references and landlord I wouldn't advise anyone to stay there especially if you are minorities they don't do anything so don't rent from them.

I have PTSD & Antisocial disorder. Dealing with NWV Group & our manager Toi is a bad taste in the mouth. First off they treat you like a lesser of a human. They show they have no care for their tenants. You cannot threaten someone like me because it is a trigger and to tell me I have no constitutional right to speak freely is far from being good!

I just moved into an apartment through NWV Group this month. The person who worked with me through signing my lease and the property manager have been phenomenal. Maintenance was very quick and efficient as well. That’s the two stars here because was great, until my ceiling began leaking today. Recently moved into an apartment with NWV Group. Our leasing coordinator, Samantha, was usually quite responsive during the application process when we had questions or wanted clarification. Not everything went exactly according to our ideal timeline but ultimately everyone has been helpful so far!

I’m honestly not sure what to think about NWV Group so far. I felt as if I had to provide way more documents than usual in order to apply for my apartment. I was starting to wonder if I was being discriminated against. I ended up getting the apartment that I wanted and so far I love the place however I am unsure about the quality of the management. Been renting from them for few yrs now. No complaints so far, fairly quick responses, and during a non trivial winter fluke occured the principal made direct contact and was in constant communication while it was being remedied. Staff has always been easy to deal with and maintenance top notch.

The majority of the positive rating is solely for Terry in maintenance and Vanessa in Management. The portal is great, works great, nice to have virtual and actual copies. Easy to pay rent. I've lived in my apartment managed by NWV group for about 6 months now. I've had some issues here and there, but nothing unusual for a home. Our property manager, Vanessa, has done a fantastic job of making sure we are always informed of any scheduled work. She doesn’t take long to answer any questions and has been extremely helpful during our time renting here.

Rented an apartment. Nicholas Gradt was the most responsive and friendly property manager I’ve had. Moving in was a very smooth process after a quick turn around time on the application, and he was very helpful when I needed to break my lease early. No funny business with my security deposit on move out either. Would highly recommend!

Easy application process and smooth move in.

Tiffany was my property manager during 2022, and I was excited when I learned that she would be my property manager again at my new spot. She responds in a timely way, and helps to find solutions to any issues that arise- anything from plumbing problems, to internet installation and even with potential conflicts with neighbors.

Our moving-in process went very smoothly. We felt very well supported by Samantha and everyone else helping us out. Everybody had excellent communication and we received quick responses.

It is clear that the majority of these reviews are not reflective of real experiences or the experiences before they conveniently changed their name. This company is absolutely terrible. I had to live without hot water or properly working shower for weeks and strong arm them into letting me use the unit next to mine for the next month. They never fixed the issue and I was forced to move into a different unit. This is still an issue for some on the residents in the building. Tried to get them to send an electrician out to our place for 2 weeks and now half the house doesn’t have power and they’ve all but ghosted us 🥲 been pretty disappointed in their communication. Just hope my house starts on fire when I’m home so I can save my animals! I suppose they get the insurance if that happens so it’s not their issue.

NWV Group (which was MJP property management when I initially moved in) has no concern for their tenants and will do nothing about their dangerous living conditions. They will charge you way too much for way too little. If mice get into your walls, they will literally put down one rat trap and do nothing else, until weeks later when they finally sent someone to patch up the hole in the exterior wall that was letting in mice, snails, and who knows what else. NWV Group, specifically Vanessa, have been nothing but top notch. I was moving from across the country and moving in site unseen so a little worried in the beginning. I expect landlords to treat me with a minimum of respect and to extract as much money as possible, so I was pleasantly surprised to find NWV treated us with respect. They communicated well in advance as needed, responded to submitted work orders, and otherwise left us peacefully to our own devices. We moved across states, and renting with NWV Group was one of the easiest steps. edit: Jan 2025 I moved us in here because the location is perfect (West Hills Terrace), and the leasing process was easy. The apt seemed updated, too. I'll get to the point. There is mold in the walls. I've cleaned it off, dropped serious cash on a dehumidifier.
