I used to own a house in Washington when I was in the Navy, and after I moved to Oregon I had to rent it out for a while until it sold. Given that I wasn’t around, the simplest solution was getting a management company. The employees I’ve met over the phone or in real life are all great, and I had nearly zero vacancies until I sold it! Took all the headache out. Would recommend.

Update: Looks like RPMV decided to reply and - yet again - instead of attempting to address any concerns, they place blame somewhere else. Let this be a further warning to you. See below for the original review... There's just no way the positive reviews are real. Our HOA was terribly managed from day 1 (missed legal filings, bad book keeping, lies, blame game... we're still due over $1k). Looking for management for your HOA? Keep looking. And I have receipts to prove it. I own rental property as well and no way would I trust them with my portfolio. You've been warned.

As an owner i wish i could give 0 stars, we went through our first change of tenant and the communication during this process was completely unacceptable- emails would take at least 3 days minimum to get back to and even then half the time it was a generic “I’ve been looking into this and will get back when i have info”, and when we tried to call we would be on hold for hours or no one would have a clear answer to any of our questions. RPM Vancouver was quick to understand and resolve an issue that could have impacted our property. They took our matter very seriously and acted quickly which we really appreciated. They do a great job with our property management.

As an owner of rental property, Real Property Management Vancouver has been engaging and responsive to the tenant's reported issues. My phone calls and emails to RPM have been returned promptly. The office staff who takes the calls are superb. Can't say I get to speak to dept heads or field personnel, sometimes I'd like to speak to the RPM person who spoke with the tenant or was at the house to see the issue. Work orders do track the issues and I appreciate the in-month and month-end reports. I believe the RPM team values the owner and tenant relationships and that is what is best.

Akee, one of the owner support specialist is very helpful, and always ready to help me with almost any issues with my property. He calls me back and always there to answer my questions.

As an owner of a unit it is hard to get a hold of anyone there. Very frustrating and upsetting! The person who answered the phone doesn’t speak English very well and is hard to understand. Messages don’t get transmitted very well. If this continues I will be looking for another management company!

Rpmv took over management of our condominium association on very short notice. They have done a great job of making this transition work very smoothly. Conny has been very responsive and professional.

This company is extremely poorly run under the new ownership. I'm a former client/property owner that took my business elsewhere. All of the employees that cared about customer service have left. I'm currently investigating and dealing with charges on my final statement for unnapproved "repairs" to one of my properties.

We hired Real Property Management to rent our property and decided to fired them for untimely advertising for the property(finding renters), horrible communication, and terrible customer portal. Now, they have tried to extort money from us twice since firing them. Once over the phone($700) and now over email for the sum of $1846.45 with no statement or breakdown of expenses. They never rented our property for us and never advertised the property over a 6 week period. After 6 weeks of wondering what was going on with our property because we couldn't get in contact with anyone from Real Property…

RPM realty has been very nice to work with. They're very responsive to maintenance requests and usually get someone out in less than a week. I want to thank them for the prompt assistance with the outdoor faucets. The maintenance guy is great! He's friendly, happy to answer questions and he knows how to get the job done efficiently! Stellar service, whatever he's paid he's probably worth more. My dad worked maintenance for years and was always looking for guys like this🙂

I lived in a property managed by this company. Very friendly and helpful anytime I contacted them. Moved out in 2024. Today I needed to follow up with them regarding a rental reference. John was on top of it! He had already responded to the request! He was polite, informative and professional.

My experience with Real Property Management Vancouver has been great. Maintenance is responsive and knowledgeable and if an issue requires dedicated plumbing or HVAC professionals, they send work orders out very quickly. The leasing team and property manager are kind and communicative. I appreciate the ability to send text messages to the RPM team. I am happy to renew my lease!

Rpg took the time to help me out when I was having financial problems with my rent. Kept me from becoming homeless. They are always on top of maintenance requests. I think they are a fair company also.

If you want numerous nitpicking emails about removing holiday lights and a boat or trailer parked in your driveway, use these folks. I was recently notified about being in violation for a vehicle parked on the street for over 48 hours which I don't own or have any knowledge of which isn't within a block of my home. They do not do any research or get gather information prior to sending warnings and notifications of being in violation of HOA ordinances. If you want to be harassed move to this neighborhood. Given an option, I'd choose another HOA management team.

Those 5 starts are added by Friends and Family obviously. Long story - short. I've rented house in Feb 2022 when company was local. People, support, problem handling - perfect. When you call them - you were calling to the office to known people who solved your problems (mainly it were owners problems, because house was new). After bigger company acquire them - you lost capability to call in to the office. It was nightmare to schedule something to get help etc. If I would not have direct contact to construction company, owner of that house would have a lot of problems which were just not add…

Most painful people to work with, upon move out they were trying to charge us over $10,000 for having to “clean up” yard and take down bedroom curtains that weren’t there upon move in. So pathetic, would never rent from them again nor would I recommend them.

We were able to complete all the move in paperwork from out of state, which was really helpful. It’s a nice rental property true to its description. We ended up renting the house without seeing someone in person for it.

If I could give zero stars I would. The people who work here are very nice and obviously don’t make the rules - however this is the kind of company that will basically do anything to make a dollar off of you. They will charge for anything they can. When I moved into my unit, a studio apartment, it was not disclosed to me that there was not a coaxial cable outlet in the unit - which means there was virtually no way for me to get wifi in that apartment without a tenant living above me.
