Julie and her team saved us. Our previous property manager accept a tenant that should never have been approved and we had to part ways whilst initiating an eviction. Julie stepped in and took over in difficult circumstances and we were able to evict the tenant and get our house repaired. This was not easy and the team supported us until it was done.

I have been using Scout for almost three years. Changed over after previous management company continually failed to perform to the point where the tenant was reaching out to me to complain. Ever since the change over the tenant (and I) have been happy. Scout stays on top of things and reaches out thruout the year with reminders about potential scheduled maintenance items. Overall, very satisfied!

Scout has been so easy to work with in managing our rental. Super communicative, and very responsive to tenant needs. I feel so confident that our house is well looked after, and our tenants taken care of.

Securing a rental home in Portland is not an easy feat. Statistically by the time you book a tour, an application is already pending. Scout Rentals helped take my budget and location preferences into account and helped me secure my dream home. Julie and Josh truly stay in your corner (even after you're handed your keys). I have beens staying with Scout rentals shortly. From the start of the showing and application process, they were incredibly receptive and quick to respond. When we moved in, I wanted a few things looked at and they had someone over ASAP. Josh was a treat to talk to through the whole application process and was able to answer all my questions or redirect me. I have been directly speaking with Julie, who is helpful and understanding. I've enjoyed all my interactions with this company. Everyone is professional without sacrificing kindness. I recommend them for rentals in Portland.

Scout found us our first rental in North Portland 5 years ago and it has been an absolute pleasure working with them, and especially Julie. The few minor maintenance concerns we've had over the years were promptly addressed and resolved. Annual inspections were quick and painless, communication has been a breeze, and I appreciate their flexibility with the leasing options for our unit. Their inventory is always very curated and although the new place we found is independently owned, I would definitely consider using Scout again in the future. Thanks for everything!

Scout has been amazing to us! If we hadn’t had to move unexpectedly, we would have stayed in our home for a long time. Communication was consistent, but never too much. We only ever had one small maintenance issue, and it was fixed within the same week. Despite circumstances, Julie really has eased a lot of our anxieties. This company either enjoys toying with their tenants or they have very poor money management skills. We notified them that we were moving out half way through the month and the company had us pay for a full months rent instead of prorating it. When we moved out only part of our security deposits were paid back and none of the prorated rent. I reached out to them and they openly admitted that they forgot that we had over paid on rent and that yes they did owe us that money. I continued to reach out about these funds for 3 weeks past the legal date that they were required to pay us. During that…
