These guys are great. I am a first time landlord with little experience in the market. Mack and his team beautifully packaged and presented my house to get a quick response. Spear Northwest has been managing my rental for about a year now and I'm very pleased. I've used other property management companies in the past, so I know the difference. In April my tenant found water on the floor, there was a leak in the wall of the laundry room, it was a big problem, water had also leaked from upstairs, etc. Melissa at Spear NW dealt with my insurance company, got the tenant temporarily relocated, took bids and found the cheapest contractors, and oversaw the work to completion. It's unfortunate that I feel compelled to write a negative review for Spear, and I'm at a loss as to why they have a five star Google rating so far given the experience that my partner and I have had with them. Although I do see that there are a handful of reviews by family members in the mix. I’ve been renting through Spear Northwest for a little over a year and a half now and it’s honestly been such a good experience. Mackenzi and the team are super easy to get ahold of, which I for sure couldn’t say about most landlords or property managers I’ve had in the past. Our move-in went smoothly, our house was (and is) in excellent shape, and they’ve been straightforward with us and transparent whole time. It’s nice renting from people who actually care about us as tenants.
