They never answer the phone and whoever does has the worst customer service always sounding bothered or just woken up from a nap. They say there gonna fix things and never do make promises they never keep.

Brenda can’t create a schedule she can stick to. Three days in the last month she’s had management leave a 24/hr notice on my door to do work THEY want to do, not me, and they never show up. like my time isn’t valuable and it’s no big deal, every time. Meanwhile they still haven’t finished the same job they started MONTHS ago (a simple bathroom fan) and I STILL have drywall cut out in my bathroom. They even forgot to put insulation and just put some drywall over it anyways and now need to rip the drywall back out. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Living here has been a nightmare from day one. The neighborhood is extremely dangerous—I’ve literally had guns pulled on me multiple times. Crime is rampant, and management does absolutely nothing to improve safety. There are needles scattered everywhere, and they don’t bother to clean up the filth. On top of that, the apartments themselves are falling apart. After reading these comments I had to comment. I have been a resident for six years and never have had any complaints Sure sometimes when you call in a person may get the runaround but tell me a place that doesn't do that at some point. As for them responding to issues within the property they have always responded in a timely manner and completed the job also in an extremely timely manner. Terrible service, rude workers, no dryer, no washing machine. They installed a hit pump and it didn't work from the very beginning, I called ten times, but no one wanted to fix it. And the price is very high for such a terrible apartment. Stay away from them. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Honestly, I’d avoid them if you can. They lied to me about the apartment when I moved in and when showed up with a truck they told me I could move my deposit to another apartment, I had no choice. They ignore your issues, and they don’t follow the 24 hour entrance notice laws. Their maintenance company thinks it’s appropriate to criticize and comment on how you live. I don't even know where to start, the blatant disrespect from management is asinine. Haven't missed my rent payment since I've lived here but have a termination letter on my door for something egregious and completely falsified. Lived with this company for almost 15 years now. The neighborhood may not be the best but I always get help when I ask for it. I always see their maintenance guys busy at work. Very reasonable staff. Would recommend

A big Thank You to the complaint department the one time I bothered them with a complaint they took care of it. And also the ground keeper for doing his best. If anything the trashy neighbors and rude people they deal with are the problem not management.

Where do I start? On the application process they don't ask for any certain kind of renter's history (probably on purpose) and then charge you a huge security deposit because you didn't have 'adequate renter's history'. I did and when I asked about it on the phone the staff member was very rude and condescending and said "that's why its very important to fill out the application correctly the first time", like ma'am I did. Worst place to live the maintenance people never fix anything either, the lady at the leasing office is awful too. Don’t even bother looking at these the walls are so thin you can hear everything if you live downstairs. They don’t care about the residents here they don’t maintain the property I would save your money & time and go somewhere else.

As a tenant at Stark Firs, I really appreciate the work they do to keep things up to par around our complex. Great people and the owner is a very helpful/mindful person when it comes to working with family's.
