We have used Tindell for 8 years and they have been solid. They follow the law, try to find the best solutions possible for any given situation, and are consistently very communicative.

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Tindell Property Management Unfortunately, our experience with Tindell Property Management was incredibly disappointing. After using three previous property management companies with no issues, our return to our house after 18 months under Tindell's management was nothing short of shocking. I really don't like to do this and thought about doing this over and over again. It's gotten to a point where one couldn't bear it. Yes. It's that BAD! This is probably my worst experience working with any company or people. I got referred to them from a relative who never worked with them before. The bottom line is that they are so bad at managing your property and so good at collecting money and charging you for every little things they can find. You'll find hidden fees and surprises. This company did what they were supposed to do--in a sense. They managed in a way that was very difficult as a new homeowner/renter was able to interpret. There was not a person of contact--they constantly changed their emails and their bookkeeping was very confusing--and wrong--and had a lot of "add to this" column "subtract from this column," oh wait "add back to this column." Not to mention, they gave me a "final accounting" and then 2 months later sent me letters saying they needed $270 more dollars (after the final accounting) to pay a legal fee for asking the renters to leave. I rented a house from them for over a year. Great experience, never had any issues. If an issue with the house came up they would fix it immediately. Highly recommend using them if you need to rent a place.

I rented with Tindell for about three years before and had a great experience, which is why I came back when the timing lined up again. After a short stint renting elsewhere and dealing with a psycho landlord, the team at Tindell was incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout the application process. They took the time to actually listen, look through everything, and treat us like people, not just a file. It was a huge relief to be back working with a management company that operates with integrity and common sense. Really grateful for how they handled everything.

Tindell & Co is truly an exceptional company. I was searching for a place to rent while still living in Austin, TX, and Laura went above and beyond to help me. Terrible management company they don't do any maintenance they employees don't do anything and take days to have them come amd do something in our apartments. I don't know how they get business.

Jose Garcia is amazing! Very friendly and capable. He replaced our broken sink faucet with a really nice one. And fixed a leak we didn't even know about. He was in and out very fast.

I have an ever-growing list of reasons why no one should rent from Tindell & Co—or consider renting the property we're currently stuck in. From the beginning, the experience has been disorganized and frankly infuriating. Tindell & Co didn’t even assume management until more than two months after our lease began. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Tindell & Co. Last week, I found myself locked out of my apartment with no way to get back in. I tried calling locksmiths, but nothing worked—and unfortunately, my building manager wasn’t much help either. That’s when Madison from Tindell & Co stepped in and truly went above and beyond. I rented from Tindell for the latter part of a 3 year stint at a property, and having two former property managers to compare them to, I can say they are among the most incompetent and sleazy management companies in the city. We've been very impressed with Laura, she's awesome! She even found a way to get us a key so we could get into our new home after the office had closed, as we were driving up in a storm. We also really like the portal and that we can pay our rent online.

By far the worst experience I have ever had with a rental company. I rented a home tindell "managed" from 2017-2021. I'm shocked they are still in business. They repeatedly overcharged me on repairs for dated items that should've been replaced, and even when I pointed it out on my lease, it didnt matter. I made a maintenance request to check out the water heater at one point, as it looked like there was insulation (or something similar) coming out of it. They ignored the request, and the water heater busted. It's a miracle the house didn't catch on fire. Oh then they tried to charge my roommat…

This company is wonderful to work with! Their staff is professional, friendly, and extremely communicative. Aa a renter, it can be concerning when things go wrong at a property and not having any control of when or if things can be fixed. Tindell & Co helped difficult situations become less stressful by frequently checking in, giving timely updates, and trying to resolve all issues as quickly as possible. I cannot say enough great things about the management and service this company provides!
