Associa Corporate reviews
Vladimir Hristov is an exceptional property manager who is always professional, responsive, and attentive to detail. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly and tenants feel well taken care of. I highly recommend Vladimir for his reliability, dedication, and outstanding service.
Carmen was wonderful! She listened carefully to what I was asking and made sure she understood my needs. She explained the process to me so that I would understand that it would take time. She also helped me understand all the information I would need to provide to help the Home Owners Association make a decision quickly without confusion. Thank you Carmen for also being a human person who is warm and friendly and not a robot or someone reading from a script. I actually felt much more at ease about what I need to do to make this happen.
We are pleased with the great thorough services provided by Associa. Our representative, Ashleigh Kennedy is outstanding in servicing our account!
I was furious when I called. William Scholl was able to turn me around and solve my problems. I am still not pleased with my community association manager but at least you have people like William around to ensure I dont have to deal with unnecessary legal problems due to incompetence with the others.
In our experience, the Orlando branch of this company has been difficult to work with. We observed repeated issues with invoices being paid late, which required our HOA to contact vendors directly to request relief from late fees. Communication was also a concern, as emails to the assigned manager often went unanswered, and Financial reports were delivered late on multiple occasions without explanation. There was also a period when our community went several months without an assigned manager, yet management fees remained unchanged despite what appeared to be reduced services. Based on our ex…
In the midst of glowing reviews from many Associa-serviced HOAs, I hope CEO, Mr. John Carona finds the time to read my comment (Complaint?) to further the stated Company mission: "To bring positive impact and meaningful value to every community." I made an observation to our local Associa Manager, that since the resumption of Daylight Savings Time, last March 8, some Residents of the Pine Creek community in Cypress, have to do their (our) daily morning walk around our lake, in darkness, due to the inability of our Property Managers to adjust the time when lake sidewalk lamps are switched off, …
In the short time that they have been my HOA they have not been helpful. I called in January when my HOA was due and they said I owed nothing to now I owe 1050 dollars . Now I am getting billed monthly vs quarterly. I cannot wait to move out of this neighborhood and wait to not live in an overpriced HOA neighborhood.
Our condo recently moved to Associa and the difference in the level and timeliness of communication has been amazing. Hats off to Lisa in Chicago for making our lives so much less complicated and keeping on top of everything for us. Thanks so much!
Lucia at Associa has been a true communication specialist and has always been on point assisting with answering questions or concerns throughout our time working with her!
I appreciate having Associa HOA managing our neighborhood to make sure our covenants and deeds are abided. Many aspects of Associa's work are thankless tasks, but very important in meeting the needs of our neighbors in particular, and neighborhood in general. Also, our neighborhood is assigned Ms. Nicole Emerson, and she has been wonderful to work with. She answers questions in a timely manner and provides information that clear, concise, and complete. We are blessed to have her and look forward to an excellent future that benefits our neighborhood.
Our new HOA manager Kara J is amazing ! Our HOA board is very impressed with her knowledge and efficiency in getting things done!
Amazing company with Top Tier professionals and Property Managers. All the Associa managed community systems I've ever experienced or lived in have always worked at a high level of efficiency and outcomes. I own a home in an Associa Managed HOA currently and they've upkept the property to the high standards you'd expect for a community at that level in Central Plano. Highly recommend!
avoid it if you can, they charge 15 times management fee without telling you why.
Legum & Norman, an Associa company, has struggled to staff our condominium with general managers who can handle the workload, who are pleasant and diplomatic, and who have a customer service focus. The current GM demands respect and if you show any frustration because you've sent 3 emails over the course of 2 weeks and none have been acknowledged let alone responded to, he gets agitated and walks out of the office. He dismissed himself in a rage from the beginning of the board meeting recently when pressed for a Yes or No answer (his reply was 'I have nothing to add') - and yet, he is still …
Atrocious! In 3 years the raised my HOA fees from $500 to $1,500 and refuse to show the fee the are collecting.
Highly unethical firm, owned by an even less ethical multi-national private equity firm. This is my second neighborhood under the disastrous "management" of Associa. They are truly one of the worst run companies in America. Heartless, error prone, and staffed by people with low ethical standards. This company attempted to bill me for fees outside my HOA's fee structure. They even threatened to place a lien on my home after THEIR payment processor failed in collecting $120. A $120 HOA fee turned into hundreds of dollars in additional fees with no one willing to answer the phone or return …
The worst management company I have ever dealt with, and as a multiple-property owner, that’s a low bar!! They never respond to repeated calls, emails, app messages. The Brentwood, TN office is a disaster. Don’t buy any property managed by this company!
I am extremely unhappy with my experience with Associa, Boulder Ridge, and the disgraceful Cities Management. Long and short of it my father fell ill, passed away in January 2025 With continuous phone calls to “Cities Management” to speak to no one. I called for months to finally get an email and speak to a J. Zaugg. One of CM employees. I finally was able to email my legal documents to get the townhouse sold. I understood if there were late fees and things of that nature which does happen when people pass away. I was more than willing to pay the appropriate amount back in the early part of th…
This management company has treated me unfairly to the point of causing severe heart problems and financial loss. All due to an assessment from Hurricane Ian. I lost EVERYTHING and was unable to pay the assessment or get a loan. They refused to take partial payments from me, turned me over to attorneys-who also refused to take partial payments. Not only did they refuse a $6000 payment, they kicked me out of their office! They've been charging 18% interest (which should be illegal due to the disaster of Ian. Every other financial institution offered assistance to homeowners who lost everything…
Having owned three properties in Wellington Court for over a decade, I’ve consistently encountered poor management practices from this association. Even for a simple request, such as obtaining a certificate of insurance, responses are nonexistent unless escalated to higher executives. Furthermore, the association neglects basic maintenance, such as lawn care, yet their management appears more focused on issuing citations as a means of generating revenue. For anyone considering purchasing a property under their management, I strongly advise against it based on these ongoing issues.
Leaving 1 star, as there is no other option for zero stars. This company lacks integrity and refuses to facilitate cohesiveness among community members and the HOA Board members. They have advised HOA Board president to make unilateral decisions without Board review or votes to revoke rights and modify in place since the development of the property. Little-to-know progress is made from momth-to-month meetings for over a year on some of the same community concerns. This company participates in unethical decision-making to say the least.
We have had an incredibly unprofessional experience with Associa. They reached out to us believing our account was delinquent, and even when they were provided with documentation showing we had, in fact, paid our dues on time, they continued to pursue their case with letters, fines, etc. They are very difficult to communicate with-- relying on emails/letters rather than phone calls, even when we have asked to talk to someone on the phone several times. Not impressed with professionalism, communication within the company, or communication to the people in neighborhoods they serve.
We’ve just started working with this company in Jan 2025 and they are the worst management company I have ever dealt with. I’ve owned my condo since 1994. That is 30+ years of paying dues and working with many different companies. I have never had such a horrible experience with any other management company. They haven’t even had to do anything yet. They are still in the transition phase and they have no plan, no adequate means to communicate and they are completely disrespectful to the homeowners. They send out notifications with late fees without bothering to verify payments were made. They …
Worst management ever, I have been calling the company many times to have them resolve my issue, they never call you back or address the issue. So unprofessional and they don’t care. They erroneously keep sending me delinquent notices for HOA dues when they are being deducted from my bank account monthly. I emailed them everything and showed proof of the ACH FROM MY BANK. They just don’t care and all they do is keep sending same delinquent notices and add fees, no one talk to you or calls you, the company just takes messages and no one does their job. I will take legal action against this man…
Worst experience of my life! This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star! I opened an EMERGENCY ticket on April 5th and called/emailed every other day u till they sent someone 20 days later!! Their response time is horrible! Nobody calls back and the manager, Lindsay Annab, won’t even respond to emails/calls. We pay a ridiculous amount in HOA fees, and it is not fair that owners get ignored. Save your money and go elsewhere because these guys do not know what customer service is.
Beware- they will “lock” your town square account in order to get more fees from you so they can send you to collections. Know your rights, they cannot do this. They will claim they are unable to unlock but I have confirmed directly with Town Square that they have admin ability to do so. Do not trust these people. Their direct email address are available online - search the names and hold them accountable! Edit to add photos of Associa attempting to get me to retract regulatory complaints and Google complaints in exchange for fee reduction. Also a photo of them admitting fault. Because I would…
We have Robert Lee as our property manager for a couple of months. Robert has done so much for our building and our community like no other. Robert is very professional, very knowledgeable, charismatic and takes charge of the projects without hesitation. As the Board President, I am very grateful to have such a true professional working with us. Our building and Community thank you Robert for caring so much for us.
Ok. I’m a resident/ townhome owner at Walden Woods. You took over the job of being our management team. The click is ticking and nothing but the same old excuses as before. Pool work has been a failure, the old , discarded pond sprinkler remains in the pond and is an eye sore, the gate operations remains a failure, the scrubs are withering and in need of new plants, the nightmare of pool supervision is coming up with summertime pool use ( to prevent gate jumpers, etc.) and the pavement “No Parking” paintings were too small and now they are gone, illegal parking problem is still on going and fi…
I have had the absolute worst experience with Associa Gulf Coast. I had to file a DBPR complaint because they refuse to turn over association documents. I view them as 1 of the worst companies that I have EVER dealt with!!!!! Save yourself a bunch if headaches and DO NOT use them!
Laura responded promptly (on the same day) to my questions regarding the upcoming board meeting. Thank you, Laura. Your prompt attention to my questions was greatly appreciated.
Very shabby operation doesn’t give home owners anyway to communicate with them I have been trying to make contact with the HOA about property that was removed from my Property without notification putting it nicely stolen is straight forward.
Client of 34 years - same as so many others, have send several emails and left voice mails for Tiffany Hannah and no response. Finally tried to fill out "contact us" form on the website and still no response. Part of her contact information states "Together we can overcome the greatest challenges. Thank you for your partnership. We look forward to serving your community with professionalism and transparency from day one." That's hard to do if you can't be reached, don't pay your client's bills (our property insurance was cancelled because of this) and don't fulfill other contractual obligation…
I received a HOA warning letter for having weeds in the flowerbed last October. I took care of the issue immediately but later in November I found in my account a $50 penalty. I contacted the Community Association Manager Kailey Jordan for help. She was very friendly, responsible and diligent in her work. The penalty was waived thanks to her help.
Outrages late fees that are more than 30% of the HOA fee, and can't setup email reminders. They also try to scam you with violations that aren’t actual violations, and then are very unresponsive when you contact them about it. Would not recommend.
As a business owner I know that it is a requirement that you have respect for your customers. As a homeowner, I have been shown absolutely none from Associa. Their front page is full of glowing reviews that they have plucked from various points. But if you look into any of the reviews they don't highlight you will find far more people like me: ignored, treated as though their problems are inconsequential, and forced to waste time we don't have trying to resolve those problems. There are very few companies I would actively avoid in my future business dealings. This is one of them. If you are p…
Associa has ripped off several Homeowners by tacking on outrageous fees and attorney's fees to delinquent HOA payments starting at for being just one month behind! THEN sending out threatening letters of "NOTICE OF INTENT TO RECORD A STATEMENT OF LEIN". They lock you out of your account just after 15 days from the 1st of the month, charge you a $15.00 late fee, a $100.00 Delinquent Processing Fee THEN $400.00 in attorney's fees!!! All for being late on a $83.20 payment!!!!
We are pleased with the service that Associa provides for Tanglewood Villas on Hilton Head Island SC. As with any company there is room for improvement. Look forward to working with Associa in the future. Ron Turner
I have dealt with eight different management companies in three different homes and this company is THE WORST I have ever encountered. Do whatever you can to not have to deal with anyone from this company. If they start to harass you I would suggest you seek legal assistance to deal with them.
Our Condo Association uses ASI Craig Lester and have for years. Solid. Dependable. Craig has become a valued member of the Island House Family as we have navigated through storms, insurance, plumbing, pools, trees and other challenges. Great work. We just re-signed with them. Value for money.
I wish I would have taken photos last night at the supposed 'meet & greet' arranged by Associa. The tables set up for the 'treats' were empty, the table reserved for their 'reps' was empty! No 'meet' or 'greet' they didn't even have the decency to call and let the board know that they were late or even still coming! When the board president called to see if perhaps there was a reason no one from Associa was there, she got a recording saying 'we're out of the office'! Really?? Is this what we can look forward to with Associa?? According to their reviews it absolutely is! Very disappointing as w…
We just hired Associa to manage our HOA and we are very pleased with the onboarding process.
Before the holidays we had a little mud slide that completely covered our way out to the walkway. I emailed the manager and she said she couldn’t open the photos and then called me rude when I wondered why. I sent them again and she said she would have the landscapers fix it since they were already here. Instead she decided to not fix the problem and take off on vacation until the holidays were over. My mom is 86 and uses a walker and was slipping on the mud which froze. It is still not resolved and is worse than before. I don’t think she has any intention on fixing the problem..
Laura Rosenfeld was recently assigned as our property manager to our community. She has proven to be very professional, attentive, and super responsive to the community requests. Her response time is almost immediate. She has helped me answer several questions i had regarding community guidelines as well as guided me on best practices as it relates to addressing my home needs. I believe her professional approach and expertise on community management is a great asset to Associa and helps raise customer service standards to this professional industry.
This is one of the worst property management companies you could deal with. They are a lazy, do nothing company. They do not respond to calls, they do not follow up on anything. Low class, bottom line company. Their the worst.
JAKE SOUTHALL, I HAVE CALLED YOUR COMPANY MULTIPLE TIMES AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE CHECK YET. I HAVE EMAILED YOU MULTIPLE TIMES AND ALSO NOT HEARD BACK ANYTHINT. I HAVE BEEN GETTING THE RUN AROUND FROM YOUR COMPANY FOR THE PAST MONTH. I AM GOING TO FILE A BBB REPORT AND SMALL CLAIMS LAWSUIT AGAINST YOUR COMPANY ON 11/29/2024 UNLESS I GET A RESOLUTION.
So far with dealing with this Association I’ve gotten a very strict interpretation of rules and no attempt to correct any problems. It’s their way or the highway. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have been a member of the Tourelle HOA, in Morgan Hill, CA, for the past 27 years. I am using this media in hopes you can have someone from the management group reach out to me and help resolve an accounting issue. They have been unresponsive for the past year.
I see your ratings are really bad and I can understand why. I have been trying for months to get my account settled and you will not contact me, you just mark my claims closed. I do not owe you any money. You removed the late charge and handling fees but not the demand letter fee. I was not late and I sent you the information from my bank to prove it. I don't understand how you stay in business.
If I could rate zero, I would. This is for Community Solutions & Sales, an Associa company in SLC Utah. Was it CSS or Associa that hired an unlicensed apprentice plumber to perform stucco work, misleading us by saying that this vendor had been used many times before? This has resulted in thousands of dollars in damage to our property, yet there has been no accountability or effort to make us whole.
Working with Associa has been a TERRIBLE experience. They pay so slowly we considered hiring an attorney to collect. If this is how they handle account receivables, I hate to see how they administer the rest of their HOA dealings
Kevin Goetsch has been a great manager to work with over the years for our HOA, probaly 10 years now that I have been working with him on the board. He has been easy to sort issues with and communicates well and is always accessible, he has been great for our HOA.
Assoica took $1,000 from my hoa account and refuses to return it. The time and expense to me to recover is incredible, but here I go to the courts. Any hoa thinking Associa is their answer to lower hoa costs – you will get what you pay for.
I mailed the payment for 4th quarter to Miami address. The mail came back saying undeliverable as addressed.
We’d like to thank Heather Spradley and the entire Crescent Beach Club team for their endless work and effort during this horrendous havoc that hurricane Helene has caused. My husband and I are grateful for her superior work ethic and appreciate all the communication that she sends daily to keep us updated on the cleanup and repairs of our building.
I have been attempting to get the Chantilly office (Cassie) to approve a request to have railings installed on my front steps. Mind you, I understand and support uniformity in the community. I am using the same company others in the development have used, who only make one style of rails. Application was complete when submitted. After waiting almost a month, trying to call to no avail, finally sent an email requesting pictures, having submitted, asking my HOA President to intervene I was told they never got them received them. Having to send a paper trail, proving that it had been su…
Stonebriar Village is such a lovely place to call home. Thank you to our Stonebriar Board and our Manager, Monika Loeffler for being so responsive to the needs of the neighborhood and making it such a wonderful home for everyone.
Our manager Jennifer Carroll, and Assistant Kimberly Lopez provide outstanding support and service to our HOA in Rancho Mirage, CA. They are true professionals who treat our community as though they lived here!
My roof in a condominium complex has been leaking for over a year. Management not fixing it . Worst customer service.
Our home was inspected and found to need a good pressure wash and painting. Though we weren't really planning to paint our house for another few months Amy and Cheryl (Associa Gulf Coast - St. Pete, FL) were very understanding and gave us the time to properly prepare and get things done, despite the reputation of HOAs, this has been an excellent experience! Thank you ladies for your kindness and helpfulness, it's been a joy to meet and work with you on this.
If I could put minus stars I would - this company deserves no star at all. One of their companies was the property manager for our HOA. The didn't pay bills on time, in fact went months without paying bills insomuch as we had services cut off. They have refused to give us any financial information at all for 2024. We had to finally get another management company. They still have not given us any financial information. They don't answer the phone, don't return messages. Don't respond to emails. They still owe us several thousand dollars and have yet to transfer those funds to us. It is…
Untrustworthy and shady business. After this company came to manage our condominium in Venice, FL, one of my HOA payments went missing. Even after I provided the proof of payment, they refuse to correct my account balance and also added late fees. Very maddening
I have been on our architectural committee for over 10 years and have worked with several managers as well as customer support members. Yho in the Indianapolis office has been one of the best support members that I have ever worked with. He is very responsive and provides quick follow up when needed. Yho has gone above and beyond many times and always does so in a positive manner. CASI should be proud to have him as part of their team!
Since Sharon Strange became our property manager almost 2 years ago she has done and is doing a GREAT job.. As a board member she is on top of things and projects. She makes trips into the community to check on the site and has been beyond helpful with our issues.. We have a great team with Sharon and Donna.
Horrible service and communication. None with my local management ( I live out of state) service and the community 's service. Have tenants refused pool access even though I provided all info as asked for. It is now July 10th. Unacceptable.
If you want neglect and ignored, hire Associa in Jacksonville, FL. Our HOA was fed up and sent them a termination letter. Almost a month after said date, we are STILL being given the run around on our funds transfer. Will we ever get our money? Just how mismanaged is it…too much they can’t tell us?…or is there any left??
This company is the worse. We pay strata fees and we get nothing from them. We do everything ourselves on this pathetic system called town square. I am not sure why we are throwing our money down the drain when we have to do everything with an app that does not work half the time. There is no customer service if you have a question you wait to get and answer from a digital operator. Very pathetic!
These guys charge for certified letters that are never sent/received. Constant maintenance issues with common grounds areas. Landscaping around the neighborhood is not well kept, despite the HOA paying THOUSANDS upon thousands A YEAR for grounds maintenance. The community Pool is consistently not usable due to maintenance issues. They allow a home to be painted in color scheme that doesn’t match adjacent homes and that does not comply with the HOA covenants but yet the send violation notices excessively about trash cans in plain view. They charge homeowners fees for account maintenance…
I am very happy with our Legacy at Meadowcroft (Home Owner Association) under Management of Associa Mid-Atlantic, AAMC for their 5-Star Service in processing Rooftop Solar Panels over my house in their development in record time. Legacy at Meadowcroft is very friendly community for 50+ adults and served ny HOA with various amenities like swimming pool, pleasant Clubhouse, and many others to keep their resident busy and cooperative in carrying out required permits in case single house homeowners need any modifications without any hassle!
The corporate offices that manages our association is not very responsive. Multiple emails and I may receive one response. Then it may only be half the necessary response.
Badly managed Home Garden HOA. The manager is unprofessional. Avoid this company at all cost people and do not live in any houses managed by them. Complete headaches and waste of time. Paid HOA fees on time every month and received nothing in return but a nosy Karen? think again.
Our community has been with NNJ for over 20 years. Our recent association manager Melissa Medina has by far been the BEST manager we have ever had. She is always placing our needs as priority. We are so pleased. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an association to manage your property.
I live in Windsor Falls, a community managed by Associa. Our property manager is Corey Clapper, and I speak for many homeowners in my community when I say.. she does not respond to any emails, never addresses any of the communities concerns, and is quite literally the most absent management employee I have ever come across. 99% of the time Corey will simply ignore the residents when we reach out by email, and on the rare occasion she does address our issue, she will only go to the extent of asking one board member in specific who she has a personal & friendly relationship with, and then send u…
Prescott's takeover of Vista de Vista was complete chaos until Sabrina Brawley from accounting took charge and solved everything from incorrect account numbers and bounced checks to vendors not being paid and unaccounted for insurance checks for owners. Without Sabrina Prescott would have lost this account. Thank You Sabrina for all that you do.
Mr Hernandez returned my call in a timely fashion and is working on finding my missing HOA payments.
Diana Smith took over as our rep at the Villas at Country Lane in McKinney when our regular rep went out in maternity leave. If I could give her 10 stars I would and I would really like to keep her as our permanent rep. She responds to our board and members promptly, sends our reports timely, and has made numerous very helpful suggestions. If all of Associa Principal Management reps were like her they would corner the market.
Absolute the worst co. I have ever encountered. I don't know if the accounting dept. needs to take off their shoes to count to 20, but the bills I get from this Associa are almost always wrong. That and the so called property manager shows up without the quarterly expense report to be voted on. And has twice has screwed up our elections by not sending the correct ballots and return envelopes. Don't waste your time and money. Oh BTW our 500K contract with your co. is ending. As in Your Fired.
I would go so far as to call this an inept and abusive HOA management company. I've had several bad experiences, the most recent being a $25 "service fee" charged for sending me an email about trash cans accidentally put out on wrong day. REALLY??? The HOA's own published policy document about violation procedures doesn't call for any fines levied if the violation is rectified yet here is what amounts to a fine. Plus the HOA's policy document requires a letter to be sent by postal mail which never was. I called and was easy to get through to what sounded like an overseas call center repre…
I have had a nagging problem with acknowledgement of a bill payment. It's one of those things that makes no sense and is no one person's fault but that ultimately falls back on the person who is responsible for the payment. To my great good fortune, I have had the very capable assistance of Jo Kleckner, of Associa Mid-Atlantic, who has helped me work through the problem. Not only has she responded to all my questions in a timely and detailed manner. She has also shown the kind of friendly and caring regard that one associates with the best corporate service, and that is, alas, all too often…
Worst management ever. Can't contact anyone plus they keep harassing most community members with non-sense letters about made up charges.
Never in my life have I seen such a conflict of interest and actual dictatorship style women trying to take over our HOA. They are hired by us and then they hired an attorney who actually represents the HOA and also the management group which is called Associa/community group, they’ve also blatantly lied to many people including me and they actually collect debts unfairly unlawfully. They advance on you for $7000. If you’re 30 days late without any kind of an actual notice and then you have to pay that with Equity Experts and then they lie about that too. I’m going to be moving out of this nei…
1. Nothing was done to resolve my problems in contacting the company 2. Everyone goes into voicemail and nobody calls back 3. I would fire your service or should I say non service
I am pleased to review our building manager, Jennifer Gill, as both personable and knowledgeable. Her expertise and experience with our building has lent itself well to the owners at 100 Park Avenue W. She has personally assisted me with several issues that might have been disastrous if not for her intervention. A heart felt thank you to her and her team.
Jo Mendoza has been discriminating against me so much so that I had to get the Dpor involved. And then she announced the last meeting that she’s a member of the HOA now in front of everyone else who actually questioned that as well and I recorded that and she’s the one advising that I get debt collection and a lien form in Michigan when I’m a West Broad Village And HENRICO county location This woman has had it out for me for a long time I have witnesses attempting to pay when I attempted to pay and I was told to go to a website which I couldn’t even access for 650 bucks, without even being t…
Run! I don't write many reviews, but people should be aware this company has no sense of urgency. Numerous requests were made, either I got a generic answer back from customer service or didn't hear anything at all. It has taken a month for my request to be processed and I am still waiting! The level of professionalism and communication is seriously lacking. I would caution any HOA to do the research before hiring this company.
I’m an hoa board member. Our associa rep is Denise Lawlor. Denise is very attentive and knowledgeable. We could not run our hoa without Denise/associa professional services
I’d give a zero if I could. Mgmt is non-responsive and fees just keep going up. Can’t get in touch with anyone to remove a tree that fell down on my property 3 weeks or so ago and obstructing my little sidewalk to/from my front door. They closed the ticket once saying the work was complete and wanted me to take a survey for their customer service. Nothing was done and no one responds thru their TownSq site, phone calls, emails. It’s frustrating.
Horrible management of HOA fees and expected payments. They send the payment coupons out after the first payment is due, then add late fees to your account. How does one know what to pay, how much to pay and when it's due without an invoice or payment book? Resolution requires several phone calls, emails, then a letter to the board for review at the executive session in April. l prepay the year in advance. It would be nice to know if there is a balance due when they receive my payment in January. Instead, they send a letter in late December with the balance due plus a late fee. This is obvious…
while on hold.....the recording saying "I'm sorry there is no one available to take you call" PLAYS WAY TOO many times....that can not be more annoying. I've been on hold in an attempt to settle the notice you sent saying you never got paid. I sent a check on Jan. 7 for 320.00 which was the amount on that notice. Also my mailing zip is 01984. I was unaware a new co. took over so do forgive me for questioning this bill at it's origin.
Since I can't reach ANYONE at the corporate level, I'll try this. We own a business condo in Nashua, NH that is managed by Evergreen Management in Bedford, NH. We had an issue with them hiring an unlicensed and apparently uninsured contractor for a project that involved asbestos. They breached their contract with us by doing so, and now they are trying to pass off the ~$111,000 of the cleanup onto the unit owners. I'd LOVE to talk to someone at the corporate level about this and see what they can do, or at least make them aware of what's going on at our local office and how everyone there see…
Are board recently changed our old management company for a new one thinking we would get a better service. Unfortunately that was not the case. They can’t follow the board presidents instruction’s and when you call them on it they try to pass the blame and get all pissy about it. No one should use or trust Associa of North Texas. It’s not worth the money or the aggravation.
I am really disappointed. I bought my first house in July and 2 months of HOA fees were included in closing costs. However only one month is reflected on my account and they continue to charge me late fees because I am not going to pay them twice. I have tried to reconcile this in multiple ways since September and it has gotten nowhere. The customer service line is a call center that can't handle account matters like this, the office is an hour from my home and work, and the property manager has answered his phone once and not responded to my voice-mail, and didn't call back when he said he wo…
As snowbirds, living far away, we found ourselves facing a difficult and seemingly intractable problem at our place in Arizona. Happily the team at Associa got on it immediately and relieved our anxiety. They’re the best!
Would give no stars if possible to accurately reflect the service they provide. Terry Wolfgram of Desert Resort Management is completely unprofessional. After no response to TownSquare requests, I called 3 times, followed up 3 times with emails and never received contact back. I confronted him with this in person at our HOA meeting, all he did was say he doesn't do that on purpose. He still has not responded to my communications about dead and dying landscape. What a joke.
Rarely get questions answered. Response times if you get one are very delayed. Our community seemingly gets fines that are not in our CC&R’s and don’t get responses to why. Don’t recommend.
No response to questions posted in portal- though they do send surveys asking how they did.... Our neighbor had a fire in their home, they can't live there- yellow tape encircles it. Associa sent them a warning letter about leaving their trash cans out!! Suggest looking elsewhere for property management- we are.
Melissa Brooks assumed responsibility for our association's account several months ago. She is very helpful, responsive and pleasant to work with. She has been creative in solving long standing issues and recommending solutions. She is honest and forthright when explaining issues that can and cannot be solved. Thank you Melissa.
Laura is consistent with her guidance and help.
We have been using Associa of Tennessee for our HOA management and they continually mess up our financials . We have caught mistakes that include late payment of bills, overpayment of our insurance and a double payment to our trash hauler. Had we not discovered these mistakes these errors would have gone undetected. We want to end our relationship with them but they are fighting ore termination of their contract. Why they would insist on keeping us as a coustomer when they know we are fed up with there poor service is beyond comprehension.
I was very impressed with Monica’s effort to unravel a mixup with my gate fobs. It was 100% my mistake but she fixed everything and was very professional and friendly doing so. I have always found the people at Associa friendly and helpful. Desert Breezes is fortunate to have them.
Associa is the WORST HOA management company I have dealt with! They label "Late Fees" as "Handling Charges" which is confusing and vague. If its a Late Fee call it a Late Fee!!! In my specific case I sent in a quarterly dues payment in December 2022 that included a note on the check stating it was for Q1'23 quarterly dues. The payment was applied to "Handling Charges" without my consent or knowledge. This resulted in $240 in late fees by the time I found out my payments were not being applied as I intended AND notated on the check as quarterly dues. Taking someone's payment and applying i…
If I could give this business a 0 star review, I would. They are horrible. Due to issues with some residents of my community and members on the HOA board, they decided to use Associa as the property management company, which is the worst mistake they’ve made. The contract with this company became effective as of September 1st, 2023. Mind you, I had already paid my HOA dues for the year with the previous property manager. The previous property manager emailed this horrible property management company at least twice on my account, confirming I’ve paid up until December 31st, 2023. I understand t…
I feel the need to post this review. Long story short, I filled out a cancelation request, to have Oceanside Manor HOA stop auto pay on my account. I went directly to my bank, and had a cashiers check made out, and put it in the mail right away. Come to find out, they took out my payment from auto pay anyway. I called Marrina, and told her that they took out my payment on autopay anyway. I told her, that was not my fault, and that I needed a refund asap. She told me she would contact accounting, and ask them to expedite my refund. 3 weeks later, I have yet to receive my refund. I called her an…
Josie R. Associa Sierra North management: No professionalism or common courtesy to respond to emails I strongly believe that the manager in Reno, NV is very disrespectful, irresponsible, and neglectful of her responsibility. Telephone Receptionist refused to connect my telephone call to the manager or any of their available management personnel. My Homeowner Association payments are not properly accounted for. I was made to pay twice for HOA fees from two collecting agencies; ATGPay $ 227.95 and Sierra Cedars $ 225.00 for March and April 2023. I disagreed. I own only one condominium unit. …
Still waiting to have the pole light in front of my house fixed. There have been two attempts to fix my light without success. I have been without the pole light now for over a month.
Lacey Cuington in your Reno Office was stellar in helping me sign up for electronic funds transfer for my monthly HOA fees. She was kind, pleasant, efficient and expedient (over night) in responding to my email request. Thank you, Lacey. Linda
My review is specifically for S. Rapoza. Every time I send an email about any issue, S. Rapoza responds promptly to address and provide solutions to the issues. We have new management and she has been a valuable addition to the daily operations of the HOA. You are very much appreciated!
Amy Potter was extremely professional and quick to respond. This is the first HOA company I have dealt with that believes in excellent service. Thanks for your help Amy!
Dartmouth Group, an Associa company in Massachusetts, has done a terrible job for the Stockbridge Landing Community. They are unresponsive, have high turnover in their managers and are completely in the pocket of the developer to the detriment of the HOA. Do not use this company.
Managers do not stay long in their position. Because of this, projects do not get done. Very poor communciation.
We received a letter of complaint about a so-called 'sign' in our yard but we do not have any sign. An unfounded complaint. Such threatening letters should never be sent to homeowners who have meticulously maintained their home and property. It is just insane to send out such unfounded threatening letters. we live in Admirals Sound in the Geist Harbours Homeowners Association Richard and Michele Bovey
This property management is non-responsive to emails. Have had a restoration issue for 6 months unable to use my master bedroom restroom. I've emailed Ryan Sowers repeatedly. He does not respond.
