Ellis home source was very reliable when helping get my home rented . I have been working with them for about a year and I am extremely happy with the consistency and enjoyable experience for me . Ellis Home Source took over management of my two rentals in Coppell less than a year ago and they have really gone above and beyond! I only hear from them when I need to but I can call them anytime I have a question or issue. I appreciate their communication, honesty and dedication to the owners. Now I feel like I don't even have to worry about these two houses. I can focus on my current rental projects and my job. My tenants seem much happier too after working with some bigger, less personalized property management companies in Dallas.

My experience with Ellis HomeSource is two fold. They managed my property for 14 years, then they placed it on the market for sale. They managed six units (two tri-plexes) from 2010 until February of 2024. Prior to that, I self managed. My only regrets are that I didn't turn it over to them sooner. The bottom line is 1) I would definitely hire them again, and 2) My income increased after hiring professional management. My husband and I have had a great experience with Ellis. We’ve been a resident for a number of years and appreciate how Heather and the team are incredibly responsive and always address my questions quickly. Whenever we’ve had maintenance requests they are quick to resolve them! For instance our home had foundational issues and the company was able to seamlessly communicate and coordinate a team to come out to the property and start the repair. Don't list accurate prices, have lots of fees they hide instead of transparent pricing. They are a prime example of why tenants hate landlords.

I’ve been a tenant in a property managed by Ellis for 6 years and can’t say enough good things about them. My rental is in a 100 year old building so it comes with some quirks, and the team at Ellis is always so quick to resolve any issues. Our property manager Heather is always so responsive about getting things fixed as quickly as possible. I have lived in several Ellis Home Source properties in the past. My experience with them has been nothing short of fantastic. Everyone of their team that I have had an interaction with has been so pleasant. They've personable, professional, and they seem to genuinely care about you as a person not just a tenant. We lived at 3034 conflans rd Irving Texas for more than 12 years and we finally moved out they would leave repairs unattended for days one year we were without power for a week and lost all of our food because they took their and never offered compensation for the trouble the property had bad plumbing I will never rent from these people again and when we moved we had the courtesy to hire a cleaning company to professional clean the property and they refused to give us back the deposit and do to them refusing to update the cabinets and fix the pic pipe in the back we had to fight with roaches a…

Noticed a leak from a neighboring property and texted the line after hours just to let someone know- not only was Michelle fast to reply (in her personal number!!) we were able to sourse and fix the issue within MINUTES!!! I have reviewed Ellis HomeSource before but I had to log in to another email and do it again. I just signed my 4th lease with them, so I'm going into my 4th year in my home and I still love it here. EH is the best (by far) property management I've ever dealt with. They are so helpful, they fix things fast, everyone is kind, my house and neighborhood are great. If I could give zero stars I would. It is currently 33 outside with snow on the ground and the furnace will not turn on. Called the maintenance line and got hung up on 3 times. Finally talked to someone and she had a very nasty attitude. At this point who knows when we'll get service. VERY bad first impression.
