Do NOT ignore these reviews take heed . The Residence at the Collection in Carrollton is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. I haven’t been here for a year yet and I’ve been living in hell! I moved in and the apartment was roach infested and the carpet throughout my apartment was nasty. Visible stains and some parts are still hard in crunchy even after they came back to clean the carpet. This centralized department they’ve got honestly needs to be thrown in the trash. Someone allegedly tried to call us, but didn’t leave a voicemail or even bother to call back. If it went straight to voicemail, why wasn’t another attempt made? This is just flat-out distasteful. They are messing with people’s livelihood — this is our home, our family’s stability — and they’re playing games. I would never recommend anyone to work here or live here. It’s beyond unprofessional. DO NOT MOVE TO ANY LANTOWER PROPERTIES! The amount of issues we've had with the property management. They changed managers 4 times at our complex over the course of a 15 month lease, that right there should tell you. Save yourself the trouble, if you want to avoid cockroaches, people entering into your home unannounced, mold issues and move out overcharging. They are trying to charge us over $1,000 for move out fees that are not valid, and they REFUSE to give us answers. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! My fiancé and I have been living here at the cortona Fairview for 2 years and it is a constant struggle with these people. First, if you value privacy, stay away. They will find any excuse to enter your home and rifle through your things. Second, the maintenance people are perverts. They ogle at women and wait for you to leave to carry out maintenance request then leave dirt and mud all over your carpet. I’ve had ongoing issues with incorrect or unclear billing at Residence At The Collection, including multiple charges for sewer reimbursement, trash fees, and water reimbursement and so many soliciting. Despite reaching out to management for clarification, I have not received a clear response. I have also went with the City of Carrollton but also inform me to go to the landlord. Transparency and communication regarding billing should be a priority, but unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I hope corporate steps in to resolve these issues for tenants.

I moved out 2 years ago from one of the company's condoms, and they still are keeping me as a resident. I have tried to remove my name from the contract again, and they have even suggested that I needed to pay AGAIN to be removed from the contract. So far, there has not been any consequence because it looks like the person who actually lives there is doing everything correctly. However, I should not be part of a contract that ended 2 years ago.
