I have been working with Plat Realty for close to 20 years. Have used them for buying house and also for property management. During these years there were numerous occasions where we had to work very closely with this team for Real estate advice or to get prevailing market rates or to get guidances on various maintenance work that comes up in cost effective ways. If your looking to lease you house I don't recommend them.

I have used plat realty for couple of years to manage my rental property in Plano. They do a decent job for screening tenants and coordinating maintenance job. On the flip side, they are very extremely difficult to reach, and don't accept home warranty.

We had a difficult tenant, and Plat Realty was on top of it, giving us excellent advice and keeping us informed. Furthermore helped us evict our tenant for non payment. Kept an eye on the property to get on the market for sale.

Plat Realty is a very professional group of wonderful employees. We used them for 5 years and have never had a bad experience. One thing that stands out is we always got an immediate response to any questions or concerns. Great job on their part. I highly recommend.

We live next door to 4505 Waterford Drive in Plano. Renters beware and do all your homework. Plat Realty is unresponsive and the home has maintenance issues. Worse yet, they have had at least 5 different families rent the property over a seven year period. We loved the families. The families were kind, great neighbors and did their best to follow the terms of the lease. The families have had rental increases just before a school year ends requiring them to move and switch schools, unanswered calls about heat failing in January and February, the master bath is awful (split window to start with …

As someone who has leased a house for over 9 yrs. they have been wonderful & quickly respond to handle issues! Such a breath of fresh air after all these years with a company that took days to respond & days & sometimes weeks to address & fix an issue.

Avoid at all cost if you wish to save time, money and your sanity. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. This post might be a little lengthy, but please read. I have dealt with some bad property managers and realtors in my life, but Roy Plat has been the worst. We relocated from out of state and signed a 1 year lease for a single family home in Plano.
