Secure Association Management operates on predatory tactics designed to trap homeowners into paying ridiculous fees. They recently sent out a notice for fence staining with an impossible turnaround time, deliberately shortening the compliance window just so they could potentially issue a non-compliance fine. Disappointed and frustrating to work with. No oversight of services they are obligated to provide. If you want that service you must reach out over and over again. They take zero accountability for it. This is how they keep our landscaping. It’s the only thing we get for $1500 a year.

This company is a complete waste of money. John Mackenzie and his team provide zero value to our community at Stardust Ranch. The only role they play is middle man pertaining to communication and they are horrific. I’ve called to speak directly to our account representative a dozen times, not once did she answer or return my calls, same goes for John the president of the company. We have been working with Tate Tomlin at Secure as our association manager and we have been so happy with working with him! He is thorough, follows through, doesn't lose track of things for the most part and even takes the initiative to solve problems we are unaware of and then brings us solutions. Being on an HOA board is something most people dread, but I can honestly say I haven't minded being on the board with him as our point of contact.

The worst management company I have ever seen. Fined me $26,000 in a month for having a fence the exact same color as the HOAs fence. The employees are completely rude and incompetent repeatedly hanging up on me and refusing to address my concerns. They can hang up on me all day but they will have to answer in court.

Secure Association management is so awesome. I've been working with Sierra, Jessie and some other staff to get approval for some additions to our back yard. Every time I speak with Jessie or Sierra, they are always very kind, patient, respectful and helpful. Absolutely awful. It was better when we had Tate but since William has taken over it has gone down hill. He will ignore you for weeks and when you're able to get a hold of him and schedule maintenance on the exterior or pest control he'll only do it half way. Multiple times he'd "confirmed" a time only for no one to show up and for him to be unresponsive (both week day and weekend). However, I wholeheartedly recommend Secure Management without any hesitation due to the excellent service and dedication we have received from them since our first interaction. This HOA management company is a joke. They fined us $45 for a trash can left out 1 day without prior notice of fees being applied. They took 6 business days to send me this notice and fine. I have lived in this neighborhood 10 years without ever being fined. I follow the rules, but occasionally life happens and you forget to roll up your trash can. They are inconsistent with their notices and enforcing rules. The board members of the HOA pick on certain home owners they personally have issues with. It is ridiculous to be fined $45 for a trash can left out 1 extra day.

Lately several neighbors and I have been quite surprised and upset because tiny, trivial situations which are suddenly termed “violations” after existing for years are being used to threaten us with action. The letters first state this is “not a formal complaint and there is no fine involved” and then go on to say they simply are trying to keep the neighborhood “tidy.” If for any reason the homeowner feels that the so-called “violation” is ridiculously trivial and corrects it in a way which the management company doesn’t like, they later send a certified letter, for which they charge the homeo…

Very inconsistent when sending out notices of lawn maintenance. The dates do not add up and to charge me before I even receive notices online. They sent a friendly warning about my lawn, dated it July 22nd. Then another notice, dated it July 22nd, stating they fined me…doesn’t make sense and doesn’t add up. They nickel and dime for the smallest things, like only two boards out of fence line being discolored and homeowner gets fined. As anyone who would read this, I'm sure you've dealt with difficult HOA issues among neighbors, with the budget and dealing with maintenance companies. Secure has been fabulous. We were in a bind and their two representatives came in and saved our situation with professionalism and integrity while maintaining a personal sensitivity to all homeowners. Additionally, they took the time to read our bylaws and quickly assess problems as well as put out fires of egregious nature. I recommend them without reservation to any property.

Secure Association Management provided conflicting guidance in writing. Upon requesting clarification, my e-mail was ignored. I finally received a response after I followed up over two weeks later. In turn, I requested clarification on whether it is Secure Association Management's standard practice to ignore emails and not take ownership for providing misleading guidance. Secure Association Management is not a good hoa management company. I’ve only lived in my house for about 3 years and I’ve had 4 different “managers”. Hardly anything gets done in a timely manner. I don’t get responses from them when contacted. The list could go on. Would not recommend at all.

I’ve had a very positive experience with our HOA so far. The community is well-maintained, and any concerns I’ve had have been addressed promptly and professionally. Over 23 years living in an HOA I have seen many property management companies come and go. Secure Association Management is new to our HOA, but off to an outstanding start. They have addressed pool access issues and promptly addressed a couple of concerns I’ve had. Cursty Davis who is a Community Association Manager is very professional and follows up quickly to address questions, issues and provide support when needed. Management companies usually get a bad reputation for good reason, but Secure Association Management is proving not all companies are bad.

Worst management company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with! Our HOA used them for a while, then we left them because they sucked. Unfortunately we went back with them a few months ago and it has been a dumpster fire ever since! They keep sending out violations to people for things that aren't even against the rules and all they can say is, oh sorry. Today I got a violation notice from them about me putting my trash bins out on Monday because our trash day is Tuesday.
