Renting our property and being a landlord was beyond stressful, but since we have had Kasteel take it over, I can say it’s been the best choice we’ve made! I am absolutely blown away by what Kasteel has done since becoming my property managers! They are EXTREMELY proactive and communicative while attempting to get the place occupied. They have auto-generated reports that you receive each week that show how many views you had, how many inquiries, how many showings, and how many of each came from each source where the property was listed. What they provide is WAY above and beyond what I thought a property manager would offer, and their rates and fees are extremely reasonable. I would not ever even consider using anyone else in the future.

They’re seriously so frustrating. They’re absolutely horrible at communication. They take forever to respond to emails or never do. They never answer the phone. What’s the point of being a company that deals with people if you’re never gonna talk to them? We’ve wasted gas multiple times to go to our scheduled showing just to have the system not work.

I wish I could give zero stars. Kasteel Property Management attempted to charge tenants for maintenance issues that fall under owner responsibility per the lease and Utah landlord-tenant law. Despite submitting maintenance requests, the issues were not properly resolved, yet charges were still pursued. Communication was dismissive and unprofessional, and accountability was consistently avoided. This experience reflects poor management practices and a lack of respect for tenants. I would strongly advise others to carefully review their lease and document everything if renting from this company…

Wish I could do 0 stars. There are no enough words to explain how much I would never recommend them. Jeff is very unprofessional and dishonest. He took our full deposit, and doesn’t have an itemized statement of what had been “fixed”. He charged us for things, that he admitted he hadn’t gotten fixed. He also changed the code to the apartment before our lease ended. Refuses to give our money back, and very unprofessional and rude in conversation. Would not recommend to ANYONE. Even if price is lower, he will do anything to get a little extra money. Very unimpressed.

Unfortunately I would never rent through Kasteel again. It took Jeff a month longer to return my deposit, and only after I had to reach out to him multiple times asking for updates and specific timelines. Each time Jeff failed to follow through. A deposit refund should be straightforward, but Jeff made it stressful and frustrating. If you value clarity, professionalism, communication, and timely handling of your money, might want to look elsewhere.

We appreciate Jeff and his team for the promptness and professionalism while we have been renters with Kasteel Property. There was never a long wait period for any work orders that needed to be taken care. The repairman was always kind and did an excellent job with any service needed to be taken care of. Also, reminders to tenants during season changes to care for the homes under their management was appreciated. Great job!

I have been renting a home from Kasteel for over 5 years now. Maintenance is handled very efficiently. I feel like they are very thorough in making sure both the property and tenants are taken care of. I would rent from them again if we left here and I will suggest anyone else to them.

This company took my deposit after my pregnant wife and I spent two extra days cleaning the apartment we wanted to make sure it was perfect for the home owner the manager went around the house pointing out toothpaist marks that where in the bathroom (Easley wipe off) and said it was dirty. This management team has been great! The move in process was smooth. The use of technology—online portal, app, communication through text and email—has been easy, efficient and clear. I recently, I had a water heater issue. I submitted a request late one night and the next morning someone was there to fix it. They ended up replacing the whole water heater, and it was all done and taken care of before my lunch break that day!

I've spent the past 5 years bouncing around different apartments in the Provo area. In all of that time, Kasteel Property Management is hands down the best company I have ever interacted with. Jeff, the owner, is incredibly kind and helpful. He addresses maintenance issues quickly, is always available to answer questions, and sends helpful tips/reminders to all of his tenants regularly about things like changing the air filters and what cleaning products to avoid.
