Extremely disappointing experience after 8 years as a tenant. I lived in one of kim finch's rental properties for 8 years and am extremely disappointed with how my move-out experience was handled by Kim Finch. After being a long-term tenant, I expected communication and fairness, but instead I was treated like I was just another bill to collect from. After moving out, I received thousands of dollars in charges that I strongly dispute. I was charged for things like repainting the entire house, carpet pad replacement, outrageous cleaning charges, light bulbs, smoke detector batteries, and blinds…

Kim was so wonderful to work with and rent from. If we had an issue she responded right away and was easy to talk to. The move in process was a breeze. During the move out process we followed her cleaning checklist and were able to get our entire deposit back! We didn’t even have to ask for it. Highly recommend Kim and her team!!

What a scam! We lived in one of their rentals for 8 years while they raised the rent astronomically every year. Never once did we have any late payments the entire time. We paid 500 to break our lease. Found someone to take over our lease. Spent days scrubbing the walls baseboards touch of painting cleaning and left nothing there and they are trying to not only keep out 1475 deposit but charge us 5000. My husband and I have rented a home through Kim Finch for the past 6 months and have had a great experience! They respond to questions and maintenance requests really quickly and they offer a great online portal for rent payments and maintenance issues - much more professional than the past few landlords we've had. A couple of specific things that have impressed us: 1) We started getting worried about our lawn in late summer because a lot of clover and invasive grass was moving in. We mentioned it to the landscaping service, and Kim sent out a lawn service company right away to mitigate. 2) W…

BEWARE! DISHONEST when ending the lease! They took our ENTIRE $1800 deposit and even charged us an extra $1000 on top of that. We skipped professional cleaning before moving out and decided to let Kim hire her cleaners and take a hit on the deposit. She charged us $1,800 for just the cleaning! It's for a 4 bedroom duplex... We asked for the receipt and she sent us one showing that amount. BUT, we called the cleaning company directly about cleaning the property, and they told us they didn't charge $1800, but $900 instead ($30/hr). Kim had DOUBLED the fee and forged a fake invoice to charge ext…

Kim is so sweet and is super great to rent from. She truly cares about making sure everything goes smoothly during your rental period with her. Any issues we had with our rental were very quickly resolved. We would rent from her company again!

Dishonest She put an odor masking powder on carpets during our tour of the house. After we moved in and signed the lease the house had an intense smoke smell for the entire year of our lease. They said they were putting grass in the backyard when we moved in and they never put grass in. When we moved out she took our $1,500 deposit and charged us an extra $1,000 for improvements that should not have been put on us.

Working with Kim Finch Real Estate and Property Management has been awesome! We’ve rented from her for nearly 5 years with zero issues. Anytime something needed attention, she handled it right away. What we love most is her simple and efficient system — it makes everything so easy. Having owned many rentals ourselves, we will absolutely use Kim as our property manager for future investments.
