Living in an apartment operated by Peak Living has honestly been one of the worst experiences of my life. The apartments are cheaply built for the amount of money they charge. The walls and floors are so poorly insulated that you can hear literally everything. My wife and I are both disabled veterans, and we have a 2-year-old son who is extremely active and in the 99th percentile for his age because of how big he is. When we moved out they made everything a hassle because management had just changed, and once we finally got our final statement, we paid it off in full just for them to come back 6 months later to say they made an accounting error and we owed more! They then sent our payment which still had the wrong amount on it (was $200 more than they said we owed), then said they would fix the error but then ended up sending it to collections instead so we never even got a chance to pay for THEIR MISTAKE!!! I would not recommend Lakeside Townhomes to anyone. My entire experience here has been nothing but stress and constant problems. When I first moved in, the previous leasing agents lied and told me that my housing authority was causing delays. The truth was that another tenant was still living in my unit, which forced me to stay in a hotel for almost a month with no reimbursement or apology. Horrible. My place had a water leak under the upstairs sink on the Thursday before Thanksgiving. I reported it immediately and was told maintenance would be there as soon as they finished their current job. The leak continued through the weekend, Thanksgiving week (My family came for Thanksgiving and the kitchen ceiling fell. The water damaged the upstairs floor, walls, the kitchen, bathroom and parts of the living room as Noone came to address the leak until the Monday afternoon after Thanksgiving. We live in one of their locations they manage. We've tried multiple times to contact them since we have moved in about our apartment. No one ever gets back to us. Now we are having more issues. These apartments aren’t managed well at all. And the fact we are paying almost 1500. It feels like we are just getting robbed. Do not rent from them.

My apartment complex was just taken over by this company… DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. The people they have working for them are condescending and rude. They will make you feel stupid and talk down to you like a child. Completely unwilling to help or understand people’s struggles. I would rather be homeless than live in a peak living community.

I lived at Arbors at Hickory Creek and moved out at the end of July. On August 13th, the regional manager confirmed in writing that a refund check would be issued to me within 13 business days. As of September 5th, I still have not received the check, and my follow-up calls and emails have gone unanswered. This has been very frustrating, and I would caution others to be careful before renting here

awful customer service. they dont respond to calls and treat residents awful. i have no cell service and they will not do anything! they have charge me $500 for dog droppings i didn't leave and did not appologize! they double downed. they say "please email us we are sorry." but they DONT RESPOND

I rented at the Crossroad’s at Elm Creek for 2 years. First year was ok which is I renewed for a second. This last year has been an awful experience. 1. I have had over 6 packages lost and management said they looked in Locker for them. They didn’t as I discovered the original packages delivered to same locker. 2. For 2 months I was charged 40 dollars (2x normal cost) for garbage for a 1 bedroom apartment. They said this cost was due to people throwing mattresses etc in garbage. I have been a resident at a property managed by peak living since April of 2023. Since that time I have been subjected to constant harassment and discrimination by the staff including David, Carlos, Lupe, Ana and Angela. David has told me to “go take your meds” on an occasion and Carlos yelled “weirdo” while I was taking out my garbage I feel so unsafe here I have changed my locks to prevent David from entering my apartment while I’m not home as I have witnessed him doing to other tenants. I wish I could give them a -10! They have no concerns for the safety of 99% of the residents. Change managers at least 2times a year. You can't reach customer care at the corporate office. 4-5 months of the year there is no maintaince help. Wish I could afford to move, but rent in Utah is raising every month. My opinion is Utah has moved to the bottom of the list for places to live! Also Utah and Peak don't care about the senior citizens in this state. That is my opinion!!!

I would give them a zero if possible. The management team at Wildwood apartments have been charging extra rent, without my knowledge, since April. A rent check is hand delivered in person before the 1st of every month. Literally see the office staff monthly when the check is dropped off. Only found out there is an issue because a service order was requested in July to fix the toilet. The manager said he couldn't put in a service order because there's a problem. My family and I had the worst experience in Bear Creek Apartments, managed by Peak Living. Here's my review DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Every second since the new management has taken over has been an absolute nightmare. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. Avoid Brickstone in Salt Lake City, UT unless you are a weed smoker than this is your place. They allow you to smoke weed in your apartment or on the balcony even though there is a state law of smoking having to be 25 feet away from buildings. If you like to cause disturbances after 10pm, this is your place. If you don't want to pick up dog crap then come live here, picking it up is optional. The worst ever company I have ever dealt with. Not dependable, don’t like to fix things, leave renters with no help. Last Friday my air stopped working again(it regularly does this so sad) I called on Friday left a msg for maintenance no response I called Saturday got the same message. I called today 7/8 no one answered again so I went in and was told they would send someone. Well they closed no one came. Slum lords at best. We have absolutely despised living at one of the properties they manage (The Felix) and even as we are trying to move out. We can’t get our dryer fixed, we haven’t gotten move out instructions despite asking multiple times, items we placed repair orders for two years ago still haven’t been addressed. Steer clear of anything that says Peak Living on it.

Poor management. The lovely pool provided for the residents closes about the time most people get home from work 6pm mon- fri. It is closed on weekends. Wow! They also might tow your vehicle even though registered to that address.with no warning towed away. Gone. Best to consider other living arrangements

previous managers at a Peak Living community lost my check 2022, current managers at the community failed to assist with getting this issue rectified, regardless of a property team/ system change. i’m now having to escalate and dispute this eviction , preventing me from renting due to an error Peak Living made.

I'm really sticking my neck out here but I have a conscience. Do not rent from this company. They only care about profits. I would really like to elaborate but I fear retaliation by the company in the form of them choosing not to renew my lease. In all honesty, this is just another corporation making maximum profits off of the backs of the poor. If I could afford to move, I would in a heartbeat. And to think I moved here to try to save money and break the cycle of poverty, a huge mistake.

Renters beware! They do not maintenance their units, and they also practice unethical behaviors to remove current tenants so they can then upgrade the units while they’re already charging you renovated prices. While it’s mold in my garbage disposal it’s insane!

Absolutely a horrible experience to deal with if ever needing to access someone at corporate office or management office at the property. No one will answer phones. Not sure how they get away with it in this day and age. Don't do any business with them is my advise

The week I was supposed to move in my unit at complex in Richmond , I had to wait because I was told the A/C unit had to be repaired, should of been replaced. 🚩 My heat went out for two weeks the first year🚩. I have been living in Charleston Club for 5 years and my experience here has been wonderful. It is a central place where all my routine procedures are extremely close to me. The service of the Administration and the maintenance team are of excellence. “I feel very happy to live in Charleston Club.”

This is an awesome place to live. Many activities, people are very friendly and helpful. Office staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. Maintenance crew is exceptional, fast, knowledgeable and also kind a d friendly. I will recommend this place to anyone I know that is looking for a 55+ living experience. I am very happy here.

Getting ready to start my 6th year here at crown ridge apts, shelby, nc ! I love living here as a 67 yr old senior citizen, the piece of mind. Knowing when you submit a work Maint order it will be taken care of As soon as possible, plus cable, internet at half of what I was paying I would say its the best apartment complex around shelby plus you can have dogs. i have had bouth kitchen and bathroom floor replaced twice and its still bad there answer is through a piece of carpet over it.theflooring was thin and cheep.

I signed up with the Flex service and it was extremely simple and quick to use to pay my rent bill. The additional fee is extremely small. I am really impressed!

I’ve only been here for 3 months. But I can safely say it’s great. I feel very safe, it’s quiet, nice people. The only draw back are the gutters are full of leaves which causes overflow, and needs some brush and trees removed to have some sun. Needs to be addressed. Thank you.

I love the atmosphere here the people are very nice and I have enjoyed living here, there are things that I think could be improved. One would be the irrigation system, some people get too much water some don’t get enough as for myself, I get too much and have lost plants which I am not too happy about.
